Chapter 35 - The First Storm (Part 2)

...But little did they know Heather had something big up her sleeve and her plan was going according to plan all except for Kellian since she was actually supposed to die in that fire.

If that failed, the Aisha shape shifter was supposed to get her to kill herself. Even with all those steps, Kellian managed to stay alive. In fact, everything rides on Kellian if she doesn't do something soon, something very bad will happen.

"Disappointing, I thought you could actually do it. Time to up the ante." Heather snapped her fingers and all the werewolf she had fighting the guys exploded. "Come on out now boys! " She commanded.

The guys that came out were different they all had a strange aura and knew martial arts.

Meanwhile, Kellian managed to sneak behind Heather and tackled her. Kellian punched her in the face with as much force as possible as quickly as possible. Heather managed to kick her off.

"You! Why are you still alive!?" Heather yelled, pissed.

"Because I have to kill you!" Kellian said charging at her.

"Awww. I'd like to see you try! Not only am I prettier, I'm also stronger because you're just a pathetic human." Heather said grabbing Kellian then elbowing her in the back.

"*cough, cough* Earlier you wanted to see me angry right? Well, congrats you did it. You made me angry you insecure bitch. Are you happy now? I'd hate to kill you when you're not... Who am I kidding I'm killing you either way." Kellian said with a smile walking over to her.

Heather was stronger than before.

"Okay fine. I'm feeling a little nice today so I'll give you one free hit." Heather said spreading her arms and closing her eyes.

"You'll regret this," Kellian warned.

"Don't think so." Heather laughed.

Kellian took out the knife from this morning and stabbed Heather's stomach. She then began to twist the knife inside Heather's stomach. Heather screamed in pain.

Heather managed to jump back, however, she winced in pain then she realized how much she was bleeding from her stomach.

"You damn bitch! I meant a punch or kick or something not stabbing me in the gut. Crap, that hurt. You're gonna regret that!" Heather said holding her stomach.

They both charged at each other. Heather barely managed to catch Kellian's hand as the knife grazed her face. She twisted the knife out of Kellian's hand then grabbed both Kellian's arms and struck Kellian in the stomach with her knee.

Kellian endured the pain and grabbed onto Heather's leg preventing her from running. Heather somehow managed to get away and punch Kellian in the face causing her lip to bleed.

Heather grabbed the knife on the ground and threw it at Kellian then went behind some of the people who she hired to fight. Basically, she ran away because she didn't want to fight Kellian anymore. The box that Kellian's mother left for her fell out of her pocket because the knife had cut open Kelly's pocket and scraped her thigh.

Miraculously a drop of Kelly's blood fell into the intricate designs. The box lit up and within two seconds it opened. There was only one item in there a singular ring. It was made with rubies and silver. The ruby shone like a beautiful flame.

Kellian was attracted to the ring and immediately put it on after putting the box in her other pocket.

She was now surprisingly somewhere else. It seemed like a giant white room.

"... You... are her daughter aren't you... Lady Lillian's daughter?" A man's voice asked.

"Y-yes." She looked around for the source of the voice.

"You look like her... Even if you aren't worthy of me I won't show you my pitiful face." He informed.

'He sounds like he's crying... Did he know my mother?' Kellian thought.

"Anyway. You need my help don't you?" He asked.

"I'm not sure who you are." Kellian was honest.

"Right. Of course. My mistake. Those people your friends are fighting are mages. The best way to beat magic is with magic. Which I can provide you with." He explained.

"Then please help me!" Kellian begged.

"I don't know if you're worthy." He answered.

"Then how do I prove my worth?" She asked.

Suddenly a long table with a chair at the end appeared. Then a line of candles appeared.

"Sit. I want you to extinguish my flames. At least 5 and I'll help you but only once. If you get 10 I'll serve you and if you get– No. You definitely won't get rid of that many of my flames as a beginner."

Kellian blew on the flames as hard as she could but only got rid of three flames.

"Blowing won't get you anywhere... I guess I'll give a hint. There are two things you can do. 1. Suffocate them with magic. 2. Replace my flames with flames of your own." He informed.

"I don't know how to do either of those..." Kellian frowned.

"That's exactly why me telling you exactly what to do was only a hint." He stated.

"Let me give you a bit of motivation."

A television-like screen appeared where she could see everything happening outside.

Meanwhile.

The guys were managing to fight them off when a mysterious guy appeared out of nowhere and while Ryder was distracted shot a beam through Ryder's chest.

Leo saw the beam and ran over to the area.

"Orin!?" Leo called out shocked.

"Hello, little brother. What are you doing here? Don't tell me you're here for that dumb blue-haired human too!?" Orin asked pissed off that everyone cared so much about that pathetic creature. He wanted to kill her.

"What's it to you?" Leo asked.

"Everything. I don't like the attention she's getting nor do I like her. Do you want what happened to him to happen to you?" Orin asked pointing to Ryder who was almost unrecognizable. His skin had been burnt and cut up a lot. "It was fun carving him up."

"-You!?" Leo said shocked seeing Ryder's body.

"I did. I shot him with a stolen ability. Then carved him up with these babies." Orin stated, showing off his knife collection.

"Why the hell are you doing this!?"

"Simple. Chaos Order finds his eyes valuable. We want them." Orin answered.

"That... gang?" Leo questioned.

"It's a lot more than a gang, silly. But enough brotherly banter." He smirked.

"I hate you!" Leo replied getting angry.

"Hahaha! I hate you more little brother." He smiled happily.

"And since when were you older?" Leo asked.

"Your current age is 16? Yeah? That makes you the baby." Orin explained.

Leo glared at him.

"You're so weak right now! Why don't you use your powers?" Orin taunted.

"No!" Leo refused.

"Fine," Orin replied.

Orin did something that caused the gravity around Leo to get stronger until Leo was laying on the ground. Orin then placed his foot on Leo's back.

"Transform. At least then you'll be worth killing." Orin commanded.

"No..." Leo glanced at Kellian. She was fighting attackers but staring in Leo's direction. "I can't. Not in front of her!" Leo refused again.

"Sigh, fine I'll get another dead body over here," Orin said then teleported Dexter's unconscious body over.

Dexter was knocked unconscious when Orin's henchmen all ganged up on him. Although he did manage to take out almost half of them.

"Are you really just going to stay there and do nothing just to keep a dumb secret and let them die? Transform and fight me! Let's see who's stronger." He said continuously stepping in Leo's back.

'Should I transform? I could take out everyone the only one that would give me a challenge is Orin. Would I be able to beat him with... That power? But it's unstable I could end up killing everyone and destroying this entire area within seconds. It should be even more unstable than last time because I haven't used it for a while. Argh! I'll just have to do nothing for now.' Leo thought carefully.

"Still not going to fight me?" Orin asked crushing Dexter's arm.

Leo was so angry he bit his lip and looked away to try and stop himself from going berserk as Orin continued to break Dexter's bones.

"Useless," Orin said kicking Leo.

'Ouch. What the hell is he made out of? He can't possibly still be the strongest after what happened, can he? No way! This loser can't do a thing. Must be my imagination.' Orin thought.

Kellian started getting angrier as she watched.

"Annoying."

"Huh?" Kellian's attention was removed from the screen.

"Not you. Since you're here I've been piloting your body those mages are really annoying. I'm trying to leave your body uninjured but they're making it difficult."

"Oh." She went back to watching the screen because she was too worried about Leo to care about the candles.

'Her aura is manifesting as light blue mist. It's pretty... Oh! Four more candles? Just from her aura manifesting... Let's watch for now it seems to be getting stronger.'

Leo grabbed onto Orin's leg which was pretty difficult considering he was still under Orin's gravity manipulation.

"What the heck is the gravity not strong enough for you!? Let go! I don't want your disgusting traitor hands on me, Leondre!" Orin yelled.

A sword manifested from Leo's hand and stabbed through Orin's leg.

"Argh!"

Kellian finally snapped after thinking about all the pain the guys would be feeling. The entire room exploded into blue flames and all the candles melted immediately.

'Blue flames!? Already!? She really is Lady Lillian's daughter. So naturally talented. Maybe even more talented than Lady Lillian. Lady Lillian never made it past white flames. Anyway. It's time to support my new lady.'

"Use me as you will and do what feels right." He said then gave Kellian back her body. Now in her right hand on which she placed the ring, she was holding a sword enveloped in blue flames.

She immediately started towards Orin dragging her flaming sword leaving a trail of flames behind her. She would slay anyone that dare stood in her way but she wasn't fast enough.

"You damn brat! Ugh, This aura... It's similar to... His... This is bad. I need to get us out of here now! But first Let's give me a handicap so next time we fight I'll win for sure. I hate that pesky ability of yours! You won't be able to do it without arms though!" Orin yelled like a maniac then summoned a sword into his hands a similar way Leo did but slightly different since the ability was stolen from someone weaker and he can't steal from family. He cut off both of Leo's arms and stabbed through his legs.

Kellian stopped completely after watching what just happened. Her aura and blue mist covered the entire area in a matter of milliseconds as Leo's screams of pain infiltrated her ears.

"I won't let anyone else I care about be hurt by you, evil people!" Kellian's voice was heard by everyone with her aura.

'What the heck is going on!? Why is her voice in my head and what's this blue fog!? And most importantly why can't I move!? The fighters seem to be frozen too! Is that guy frozen too? He's not in my line of sight and I can't move. What kind of overwhelming power and energy is this?' Heather asked herself, confused.

All of a sudden she was in a forest and Orin was carrying her like a sack of potatoes.

"What the heck!?" Heather yelled.

"Shut up! You're lucky I saved you." Orin said, annoyed his bleeding leg now beginning to hurt.

"Where are we?" Heather asked.

"A forest in front of the boss's palace," Orin replied.

"What about the ultima and his friends?" Heather asked.

"I shot a laser beam through his chest and hurt him pretty badly if no healing is done he'll die. But that girl... What do you know about her?" Orin asked.

"Not much. Her name is Kellian, she's sixteen. She's human. I don't like her. She's very close to our target and my ex." Heather replied.

"Ugh! You're useless! Maybe boss knows? He must have sensed her power." Orin said thinking aloud.

"Power? Humans don't have powers." Heather stated.

"Then she's not human. Idiot." Orin rolled his eyes.

"There's no way she smells just like a human!" Heather yelled.

"The boss smells human too but he's definitely not," Orin explained.

"Oh..."

"I'm starting to regret saving you. But I did. So you're my problem now. You're coming with me." He said then grabbed onto her and teleported to a mysterious man who seemed to be their boss in his thrown room.

"Master," Orin said then kneeled.

"Ummm..." Heather was confused.

"Kneel in Master's presence!" Orin yelled then used his gravity manipulation to make her kneel.

"... Was that aura from where you guys were?" Orin's Boss asked.

"Yes, master," Orin replied.

"I see... I knew you were alive... Where were you hiding and why are you helping them!?" The boss asked looking in the direction of the school that was extremely far away.

"Ummm..." Heather did not know what to say.

"Oh. My wife-to-be ran away a few hundred years ago and that was definitely her magical energy! She called that spell 'Purge of Peace' and it eliminates those with murderous intent towards her and spares people she cares deeply about. Although this was just a toned-down version of its full potential. The radius was smaller than usual and she didn't include as much murderous intent in it. She was hesitating. Tsk tsk. She's gotten rusty." The boss stated his thoughts aloud.

'What the hell do you mean toned down!?!! That could have killed us if I didn't steal this teleport ability from that one guy I killed. Wait... isn't she 16?' Orin thought.

"Ummm... Master... The girl that did that is a 16-year-old high schooler..." Orin informed.

"Oh my! She must have figured out how to reverse her age before I did! She's such an amazing woman. That's why I love her." The boss said, fanboying.

"She seemed pretty close to my ex and the ultima. She even said she was friends with my ex when they were younger." Heather informed.

"She probably became a child again. Wait... What!? Oh right... They're both dead right?" He seemed kind of... jealous.

"...No. Ein broke up with Heather and ran and the Ultima will live if he gets healed. I'm not sure if Kellian has access to healing magic." Orin explained.

"... Who's Kellian?" The boss asked confused.

"Ummm... You're..wife..to be?" Orin asked confused.

"??? No. Her name is Lillian." The boss corrected.

"Well, the magic you sensed belonged to a girl named Kellian."

"Oh? Maybe she wanted to rename herself? But, strangely, she named herself that... She wanted to name her first daughter that name... I guess it makes sense, she was always so spontaneous." The boss said, fanboying once more.

'I've never seen this side of him before... It's... disgusting. He's all-powerful and all-evil but in love...gross. Has he lost his mind?' Orin thought.

'Is this guy sane? That thing can't be your wife. He is super hot though I wonder how old he is? Maybe like 20? I can make do with that. He looks so young and handsome.' Heather fangirled.

"Is there something wrong?" Orin asked Heather.

"How old is she actually?" Heather asked the boss, trying to figure out his age.

"Mmmmm around 1000 years old now or so she's around 100 years younger than me." The boss replied.

"What!? You!?!? Over a thousand years old!?!!?!!" Heather asked shocked.

"I am. What's so shocking about that? Why do you even care?" The boss questioned.

"How can that be true you're so ho-"

"I'm so sorry about her master. She's the one that came up with that brilliant plan and made it happen so I thought I should bring her with me." Orin explained while covering her mouth.

"I see. Is there anything else you want to know about my wife to be? I'm in a good mood right now." The boss asked.

"...Who's stronger?" Orin asked.

"Well we never fought before but I'd say we're about equal with magic but she's stronger because she can use any weapon and knows all martial arts but what really makes her stronger is her blessed jewellery that helps her in battles." The boss replied.

"I see," Orin replied.

'Now things are getting interesting. At first, I only wanted to steal her because my brother cared about her and kill her because she's weak but now I just want to steal her. So many people want her but I'll steal and marry her! Now more than ever knowing the boss wants to marry her too. Since she's stronger she can kill the boss if he gets out of hand. I will make her mine and no one can stop me! Mwhahahaha!!!'

"One year from now check if the ultima is actually dead. If he is that's good and if he isn't that's even better! Because I remembered that his fresh blood and heart are also quite valuable. For now, I need to alert everyone about my bride being alive and making sure they never hurt her." The boss said skipping off.

'Ewww. She makes him weak... So that's good! Yes, we will prepare for that day. The day I steal a bride! Mwhaha! But for now, I'm stuck with a dumb mutt. Ugh! I can't wait to have Kellian in my arms! Too bad I do have to wait.' Orin thought teleporting with Heather.

"So what now?" She asked.

"You live there. Don't come into my castle if you need me, call me on the landline inside. Bye." Orin said pointing to a small cottage building then sprouting wings and flying into his castle.

'Not like I can get in anyway the only entrance is too high– Huuuhhhhh!? He has wings!?!? Oh yeah, he's not a werewolf. Ugh, well I guess I need to check out where I'll be staying for the next three months.' Heather thought entering the cottage.

Meanwhile.

'It was too much for her. I should have known. I should have stopped her... She lost control and almost killed everyone in the school... She needs some training... For now, I'll return so she can recover... I shouldn't have pushed her... Lady Lily would be disappointed in me.' The man from the ring scolded himself.

"*cough cough*," Kellian thought for a bit. 'I did all this? How... strange... Humans can't do that right? That man must know what just happened. I should ask... The guys!?' Kellian immediately sprung up and ran over to them.

When she found them they were barely alive, on the verge of death. All three of them were dying and quickly.
