Chapter 26 - Should I Join a Club?

Ein just got off a call.

"Was that Kaila?" Kellian asked.

"Yeah, she wants you to stay over at my house for tonight," Ein stated.

"WHAT!?" Someone exclaimed.

"Heather, hey." Ein greeted.

"What do you mean hey!? You were supposed to stay over at my house today!" Heather complained.

"Well, I can't." Ein sighed.

"What do you mean you can't!? You're obviously not busy if you're going to babysit that human!!!" Heather continued to complain.

"That reminds me we have to talk," Ein stated.

"Huh?" Heather was confused.

"You went too far today," Ein said in a serious tone.

"What do you mean?" Heather genuinely didn't feel like she did something wrong.

"I told you not to mess with Kellian." Ein continued.

"She upset me." Heather pouted.

"You not only hurt Kellian but KIDNAPPED and injured her friend," Ein stated her crimes.

"So?" Heather didn't see anything wrong with what was said.

"I know you don't like Kellian but I didn't think you'd take it this far. You involved an innocent werewolf. I had to bring her to the effing hospital and you're here saying "so"?" Ein snapped at her.

"But she's an omega," Heather stated.

"And you're one too!" Ein yelled.

"Yeah but I–"

"Chose to become one? Well, I didn't... I didn't think you were this type of person. How can you look down on your own when they haven't done anything wrong???" Ein interrupted.

"I became an omega to be with you!" Heather yelled.

"That was sweet and all but if you can't care of Omegas what's the point of being their Alpha Female? A leader, someone all Omegas can look up to?" Ein questioned.

"I–"

"Besides, If you had hurt Carly anymore we'd all be screwed! I am not kidding when I say Kellian would have gone ballistic. No one would have been safe from her rage. And I mean. No. One. She is the last person you want to make angry." Ein interrupted.

"... Why do you care about that thing so much anyway!?" Heather yelled.

"Even if I didn't care about her, I very much like being alive. I am not dying for your stupidity."

"But."

"You need to calm down and think straight..."

"I am calm. A puny little human-like her can't wreak havoc on the entire school. I don't know what she did to get you brainwashed but there's no way she can—"

"Do you not feel any remorse??? You almost killed an innocent werewolf and you think about me being brainwashed for reprimanding you????? I just can't with you right now... I think we need to take a break."Ein interrupted.

"What but–"

"Bye." Ein grabbed Kellian's hand and dragged her away.

"Well, you did do something... But are you sure that's what you wanted?"

"Yeah..."

Three weeks later.

A rumour about Kellian started. It stated that she wasn't actually a spy but a power-hungry, gold-digging "lady of the night". It was gaining popularity but no one talked about it openly because they didn't want Ryder, Leo and Dexter to overhear. That didn't stop it from spreading all over the school anyway.

Ein decided he would spend time away from his group so he spent more time with Kellian.

"Babe..." Heather came up to them.

"Yes?" Ein responded.

"Why are you only talking to that human?" She asked, sounding like a sad child.

"I told you I'm taking a break. I just decided to take a break from all of you so you won't get lonely." Ein answered.

"... I don't like her." Heather frowned.

"I know," Ein replied.

"Do you like her more than me?" Heather asked.

"... I don't know," Ein answered honestly.

"What!?" Heather yelled.

"Before I probably would have chosen you but you're much worse than I thought you were," Ein explained.

"Give me another chance." She asked, looking like a sad puppy.

Ein had a look of excitement, "Then... Hang out with each other!"

"What!?" Kellian and Heather yelled in unison.

"Become friends!" Ein smiled.

"Is this about... that rumour?" Heather asked immediately.

"..." He looked away.

"What rumour?" Kellian asked.

"..." Ein didn't want to explain.

"You'll find out soon," Heather smirked.

"Heather." Ein scolded.

"Sigh." Heather looked around. "You see that group of guys over there? Walk past them."

"That's not going to work—"

"Trust me." Heather interrupted Ein.

Kellian did as she was told. As soon as she was in their line of sight they stopped her.

"You're Kellian, right?" The largest guy asked.

"I am," Kellian replied.

"What do you think?" He asked spreading his arms.

"You're going right for it, lol." One of his friends laughed.

"Huh?" Kellian was confused. 'What is he doing?'

"Don't play innocent. You want me too, right." The guy asked.

Kellian stared at him like he was insane.

"Am I not good enough for you!?" He started to get angry.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Kellian responded.

"Dude chill. It may be a slut but it likes them rich, strong and hot since they're the only one's she hangs around. The only thing you have is the strength." The third guy tried to calm down the first guy.

"Right. I forgot it had such high standards. I'm probably not rich enough for it." The first guy stated.

"That's right. I have high standards that trash like you could never meet." Kellian finally realized what was happening.

"This bi–" He was getting closer to Kellian so she kicked him in the stomach interrupting his statement.

"Thugs like you are the worst. Absolutely disgusting. A little rumour spreads and you suddenly feel like you have a right to push yourself onto a girl." She stated while looking at them with disdain.

"Is it a rumour? Would you have kicked him if it wasn't true?!" The second guy, the one that was laughing earlier yelled.

"Wrong. If you see trash on the ground you dispose of it, right? I'm doing society a favour by putting you where you belong." Kellian smiled like an innocent angel.

Kellian then knocked the three boys out and threw them in trash cans.

"Sorry for the wait." She said when she returned.

"You're scary," Ein commented.

"Am I?" Kellian asked.

"I can't even imagine how scary you'd be if you completed your training," Ein replied.

"I'm not that strong," Kellian stated.

"Don't be modest. You do have weaknesses but you can win anyone on one match with any werewolf." Ein complimented.

"Anyway, you want me to hang out with a girl to slow the rumours?" Kellian asked.

"Yeah," Ein replied.

"I don't want to," Kellian said dead serious.

"Babe~ She's being rude. Let's just ignore her!" Heather said it in a sugarcoated child-like voice.

"You can't just beat up anyone that talks bad about you," Ein stated with a frown.

"I know. I don't plan to. As long as they're just talking, I don't have a problem... But if they physically bother me, I'll physically bother them. I don't need your girlfriend's protection." Kellian stated.

"I see... But I still want you two to get along." Ein smiled.

"I'll try! If you promise to forgive me." Heather continued in that voice of hers.

"Fine." Ein agreed.

"Right! I'll become a good girl for you~" Heather smiled.

"..." Ein left without a word.

"Ugh! This is all your fault! Now I have to play nice and work extra hard to impress him!" Heather's voice went back to normal as she yelled at Kellian.

'I knew she'd react like this. So predictable.' Kellian sighed.

"Answer me! What did you do to him!?" Heather yelled.

"Nothing," Kellian answered.

"What are you to him?" Heather questioned.

"I don't know. We used to be close friends when we were kids. I used to be able to tell how he feels but now he's impossible to read." Kellian answered honestly.

"What did you say!? I'm the only girl he's ever liked and will ever like!!! Get those thoughts out of your head!!!!!" Heather yelled.

"What thoughts? I'm just thinking about how he doesn't seem like my friend anymore. About how different he is." Kellian continued to tell the truth.

"Don't lie! I know you have feelings for him!!! Just back off!!!!!" Heather continued to shout.

"You're drawing attention," Kellian stated.

"Then good. This will only make my rumour more popular." Heather smirked.

"Your rumour?" Kellian questioned.

"Yes. I'm not backing down. You choose the wrong girl to mess with. Ein says you go crazy when you're mad... Well, I'm crazy 24/7." Heather smirked.

"... This conversation is a waste of time." Kellian walked away.

"I won't let you get away with this!!!!!" She yelled after her.

A month later.

A lot of girls started bullying Kellian. They thought she was going to steal their boyfriends and crushes. And when they realized that certain wounds heal quickly on Kellian they started fighting her too. Almost every girl in the school was bullying her so she couldn't fight back. Well, she could but it didn't make sense since there were just too many people.

'I know I said I'd be fine but people are so mean... I can't even find a peaceful spot to hide anymore... They're everywhere and some are getting bolder because they realized that Ryder, Leo and Dexter aren't doing anything. Sigh... Should I join a club? It would have to be a very unpopular one with a small number of members... Please... please... Let me be lucky for once.' Kellian thought to herself.

Heather still sent at least one of her girls to follow Kellian. After knocking the girl out as painlessly as possible, Kellian then searched for the club bulletin board where all the posters about clubs were. There was a hand-drawn poster on the ground. It looked like it had been trampled many times.

'Perfect. The art club.' Kellian threw the paper in the bin once she was done. 'I'll check it out after school.'

Kellian bought lunch and sat outside as far from people as possible. Heather still managed to find her. She sat right in front of Kellian. A few minutes went by and Heather was just eating and staring at Kellian.

"What do you want?" Kellian asked annoyed.

"Why would I want something from a human!?" Heather yelled.

"Then why are you here?" Kellian asked.

"You know you and your mother are nothing alike," Heather commented.

"What?" Kellian didn't expect her to mention Kaila.

"Oh? Are we curious now?" Heather teased.

"..." Kellian didn't respond.

"Hahaha. So cute." Heather laughed.

"Speak," Kellian ordered.

"A girl covered in bruises doesn't scare me. So stop acting tough." Heather smirked.

"I said to speak," Kellian commanded after grabbing onto her collar.

"You don't get to bark orders at me human. Besides, you're not in the position to do so." Heather smirked.

"Says the girl that has major trust issues," Kellian smirked as she let her go.

"What?" Heather blinked.

"If you trusted Ein you wouldn't have gone as far as turning the whole school on me. Or is he that unfaithful?" Kellian asked.

"Shut up! Don't talk bad about Ein!" Heather ordered.

"... You're right. Ein is nice. You're the problem." Kellian smiled.

"Don't compliment my boyfriend!!" Heather yelled another order.

"I knew it. Make up your mind. Do you want me to insult or praise him?" Kellian asked.

"Neither! Just don't talk about him! Don't talk to him!" Heather yelled.

"Then leave me alone. It's a very simple solution. If you just let me stay away it would have been fine. But now it's too late, that fool is going to worry about me being on my own because of those rumours you started. Why do you think he still lets you make your girls watch me?" Kellian asked.

"Are you insinuating that MY boyfriend cares about YOU???" Heather asked angrily.

"He does. I don't know why." Kellian answered.

"My boyfriend doesn't like you!!" Heather yelled.

"I know. Sigh. I've explained this too many times. I'm getting a headache from your yelling. You came here for a reason, right?"

"Yes. Let's make a deal. You become my slave and I'll—"

"There's nothing you could give me to make that fair. So no." Kellian interrupted.

"Are you sure about that?" Heather smirked.

"Yes," Kellian replied without hesitation.

"Not even your mother's safety?" Heather asked.

"She is safe. You don't know her." Kellian replied.

"Oh? Silly girl. Of course, I know my father's girlfriend." Heather smiled.

"W-what?" Kellian was shocked.

"She looks nothing like you! I would have never known she was your mother if she didn't show us a picture of you." Heather stated.

"Why would she..." Kellian was confused.

"A woman gets lonely without a man in her life so she found one. But she was stupid enough, to be honest with not only him but his daughter. She was desperate to make me like her! It was hilarious!" Heather explained.

"..." Kellian remained silent as she processed everything.

"Of course it was cute at first. I almost accepted her. Then she showed me a picture of you saying you are the daughter of her ex-husband." Heather continued.

'She could have just said my daughter. Ugh. She makes it sound like I'm not hers.' Kellian complained in her head.

"I can't like her anymore. I don't want to be your sister." Heather said, pretending to be sad.

"Neither do I," Kellian added.

"Hahahaha. Cute. I'm willing to be your sister if you become my slave." Heather smiled.

"I just said I don't want to be your sister." Kellian frowned.

"Hahaha. As long as your mother is alive my father will marry her." Heather continued to smile.

"What?" Kellian was confused.

"Well more specifically, as long as the child inside of her is alive," Heather smirked.

"Child!?" Kellian exclaimed.

"That's right. She's a couple of months along now. Look at her stomach closely next time you see her, you'll notice the increase in size." Heather smirked. "Anyway, knowing my father if that baby dies, he'll just make a new one. And as long as your mother has his child he'll marry her. So, if you don't agree to my terms... I'm going to kill her."

"...Then you'd be doing us both a favour," Kellian stated with a serious expression.

"..." Heather didn't know how to react.

"Besides. I don't take orders from fake Barbie ripoffs. And you're the fakest one I've ever met." The warning bell rang as soon as Kellian finished her sentence.

"You're lucky the bell just rang! I have to make it to class on time cause that teacher's jealous of how hot I am. She's always hard on me–"

"And I don't care." Kellian interrupted her.

"You'll regret turning down my offer!!!" Heather yelled.

"I don't think I will. Ciao~" Kellian winked at her before leaving.

After school.

Kellian sat at the school computers and sent an email to the art club. She got a response immediately.

Kellian read it to herself, 'The club is slightly off-campus. When you first entire it looks like a cat cafe but if you ask about art club and can provide proof that you are a member or potential member you'll be led to an art room. The cats in the cafe listen to the owner and his daughter's every order so they double as guards.'

'If there is an intruder or their our cats will take them out. Eeeeeee!!! Imagine death by cute fluffy cats!!!! That's how I want to go, haha. Oh yeah, since I made this personal might as well introduce myself. I'm the club president and the daughter of the owner. I look forward to seeing you here. Possible member! Please print the following attachment and bring it with you. You can come now if you can, we haven't started yet.'

Kellian sighed, 'Done. So this is an "art pass" it must be the proof needed to enter. This process was a lot faster than I expected.'

She then went and did as the president instructed. When she saw her, her first thought was, 'Whoa, she's pretty.' The girl was 6ft (185cm) tall and had mint green coloured hair and eyes.

"Hi, my name is Kellian Heart! I'm so glad you accepted me." Kellian greeted cheerfully.

"I didn't accept you, yet." She was cold towards Kellian. "Can you draw?"

"Not sure? Here's my sketchbook." Kellian handed her the sketchbook.

She didn't expect much but was absolutely shocked when she saw Kellian's art.

"You're amazing! I can't possibly refuse you!! We need you!!!" She then caught herself. "Sorry, I got too excited."

"It's fine... Thank you." Kellian said shyly.

"No problem. My name is Mint." The girl introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you Mint." Kellian smiled.

"Do I look familiar?" Mint asked.

"Huh? No?" Kellian was confused.

"Well, that's okay! Our first meeting isn't worth remembering." Mint smiled happily.

"If you say so!" Kellian responded.

"Please sit." Mint pulled out a chair for Kellian.

"Where's everyone else?" Kellian asked.

"They'll be here soon! We'll do introductions then. In the meantime, you can get some practice! From what I saw you don't do croquis. How good at it are you?" Mint asked.

"Ummm... I'm sorry but... What is that?" Kellian asked in return.

"It's basically a quick sketchy drawing of a live model usually done in a few minutes. It's one of my favourite methods of drawing, I can't believe you've never heard of it! Unlucky for you that's what we're doing this month." Mint explained.

"Okay."

"Let's practice." She said then started giving Kellian a few tips.

"Oh. It's a rule you can't use an eraser. You have to love and work with everything, including mistakes!" Mint smiled sweetly.

"What!? How will I–"

"I'll do it first! Just sit still and listen." Mint cut Kellian off.

"Okay..." Kellian sat still and gave Mint her full attention.

Mint started sketching her and explained step by step what she was doing. After Mint finished her explanation people started arriving. Among the people who arrived Kellian noticed a familiar face. It was obviously him. It couldn't be anyone else... It was...
