I felt different, beyond the power I had obviously gained, I felt like a totally different person.

Being one with Vaatu, certainly was a unique experience, I could feel his emotions inside me, his unyielding hate for Raava, his undeniable desire for chaos, and more.

"Well, I think I can get used to this," I muttered to myself, as I stretched my arms.

-I…. you know so much of this world, of the future… how is this even possible…- Vaatu inquired from deep within.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten all about my meta knowledge, which now seems to be at the hands of Vaatu, "I wasn't always Akira, not that it matters anymore,"

-So I lost…. again… well. It seems that the human I chose to merge with… Unalag, was weak- Vaatu commented with a sour tone, probably angry at what he saw in my memories.

I inwardly chuckled at that, "Well, this time… things will be different,"

-Yes… they will most definitely will- Vaatu laughed in agreement, -I did something Raava was too afraid to do… I have made you technically ageless, that way… we will walk the earth for almost all eternity showing each reincarnation of Raava, who is the superior being!-

Technically ageless... Isn't that a scary and enticing concept, "So I'll be eighteen forever?"

-No, I'm not an idiot… your body will fully mature, and only then you will stop the pitiful cycle of human nature... I think... this was experimental, so who knows... and by the way human… from when do you get you are eighteen… This body is sixteen years old-… Now wait a freaking damn minute, I am most definitely sure I looked older than that before the new face, body, soul and shit.

"Are you sure?" I inquired.

-Now that we are one… I know everything about your body and spirit… your age seemed higher before, probably because the imperfect vessel you had was aging at a rapid rate….if I had to take an educated guess, I would said… you would've died around your human forties with that defective body you had…- Wow, I really had the great Value version of a human body.

"Well, it's not like I was sure of my age anyways," I sighed with a quick shrug, as I stepped out of the tree where Vaatu had been sealed all this time.

As soon as I stepped out of the now broken seal, I immediately noticed things were changing around me, the former wasteland was slowly transforming into a booming forest, with the dead tree where Vaatu had lived for thousands of years, coming back to life.

It seemed without Vaatu, this part of the spirit world was coming back to life, showing his mere presence was life consuming.

"Any idea how to get out of here?" I inwardly asked, wondering if Vaatu knew a way back to the human world.

-Find a spirit and order the weakling to obey us… by opening a portal!- Vaatu growled his answer.

"Calm down nelly," I rolled my eyes at his attitude, taking a deep breath I called out, "I am mad as a hatter!" seconds later, a portal appeared in front of me, with Cheshire coming out of it.

"Finally! I am so so—" The Cat stopped cold on his tracks, "You merged with Vaatu…"

-Force that pitiful excuse for a cat to open a portal!- Vaatu inwardly growled.

I sighed ignoring Vaatu, "I did,"

"Well, this is a new level of crazy," The cat sighed, before looking back at me with curiosity, "Are you still you?"

I chuckled, "I mean, I don't have any urges to kill, or put in the world in a everlasting chaos… so, yeah, I'm still me,"

"Good, I don't like my chaotic form," The cat laughed.

"Now, not that this conversation isn't riveting conversation, but… I need a favor," I eyed the cat, "I need you to send me back to the human world,"

"Sure," The cat purred, teleporting behind my back in a puff of smoke.

"Oh, and what happened before… you left me stranded," I asked, just now remembering he had mysteriously disappear midway to the Lion Turtle.

"Oh, that… something… or someone pulled me out of the Fire Peninsula, and then I just couldn't find you…." The Cat said with an abnormally serious tone for him.

"Well, what is done is done," I sighed, while silently wondering just who had done that…

"Well," The cat sighed, opening a portal, "The portal should drop you back to where you entered the spirit realm,"

"Thanks," I smiled, waving my goodbyes at the cat, as I slowly walked towards the portal, when all of the sudden, I felt something… someone was approaching… and I knew who… the Bear, "Alright bye," I speed up my walk entering through the portal, I did not walk to fight him, right now.

————————————————————————

In the blink of an eye, I was back at where everything started, Forgetful Valley, but this time the Mother of Faces was nowhere to be seen. Which in all honesty was good.

"Here we are Vaatu," I muttered to myself, getting no answer.

I had to change my plans a bit… Well a lot, I was the Avatar, well… the dark one, meaning I had three elements to master, and I meant master like I wanted with water, with all the subclasses on bending.

Though this made me wonder, what element would prove to be my opposite? Every avatar has an element they struggle to learn. Well… I suppose if I take an educated guess, I would immediately answer, Air.

But who knows.

Well, at least one thing was sure… fire bending, was the first thing I would learn, it was both the one that attracted me the most, and considering I was in the fire nation, it was quite convenient.

"Well, let's start our journey Vaatu," I chuckled.

-Don't forget our deal… Raava has to taste defeat- Oh so he can't still speak, interesting.

"Don't worry… that will happen soon, after I master the elements of course," I inwardly chuckled, things were sure getting interesting.
