Curling up herself under the shower of her bathroom,heavy breaths were heard and the sound of sobbing is ringing into Thea's ear herself. The memories went back into her one-by-one left her so anxious,forgotten fears came rushing back into her system. On how she was neglected by her relatives and how she cried every night in her younger years wishing to be reborn and live a lucky life;away from misfortunes she's meeting everyday on her every way.
Thea stopped crying when she heard a constant knock on her room,hearing this Thea went curious together with her fear as the thought of Clark;her lunatic cousin came running back to her.
"Ami!AMI!Amithea please!!"Sara's voice echoed in Thea's room.
Sara who's been worried since this morning after her talk with Thea earlier this day. With thought of her friend not answering countless messages and calls Sara neglected the idea of the dangerous place her friend is living. Without a second thought she came to Thea's place together with her brother;Simon.
Hearing Sara's voice outside her room,Thea calmed down,however remembering her rude actions towards Sara earlier this day Thea felt guilty and chose not to respond in all of Sara's calls and messages,and even now that she came to her place.
"Thea I'm really worried about you since this morning so please open up!"Sara asked again.
Thea didnt say a word,she just hugged herself while sitting on the cold bathroom floor. Doubting whether to face her friend or not.
"You gave me a spare key before remember?So Thea I'm coming in!"Sara shouted again while unlocking Thea's room door with her spare key.
"Oh my god! Sara just how close are you two?!"Simon whispered to his sister totally shocked when Sara blurted out about the key.
Sara just rolled her eyes at her older brother."Just shut up will you?!" Sara mocked and continued to unlock the door.
When Thea heard those words she immediately stood up and run towards the door to forcibly close it,she is ashamed of her actions towards Sara. However,just the moment she stepped out of the bathroom,she's about on her way to the entrance door when she saw Sara and Simon already barged in.
Thea went stiff seeing them both,as well the siblings. The two were shocked on how Thea looked so awful in her current situation. With still on her shirt from the morning and the jeans,all crumpled and wet,together with thin and pale appearance,but the sight that made Sara worried the most is her eyes. Her eyes with red and swollen made Sara wonder if she can still see a thing,because it almost covered her line of sight. Just with the swollen eyes it is clearly obvious Thea have been crying all this time.
"Oh sh*t.......Thea you look awful."Simon claimed.
As if on cue, Sara rushed to Thea and gave her a tight and reassuring hug. Thea hugged back in a dull state and closed her eyes.
"Oh god, Thea Im so sorry for asking those things,I didnt knew you were sensitive about those topics__"
"No Sara,as you've said you didnt know,so you're not in fault in this. Besides,I'm the one who should say sorry for acting so rude to you."Thea broke the hug and looked away feeling all the guilt.
Sara laughed lightly."Oh shut up,its okay.......look at you eyes! You looked like that kind of goldfish with those eyes." and gently touched her eyes.
With those words,it made Thea laugh slightly leaving Sara felt reassured that her very friend is doing okay.
"Oh,oh laughing can heal swollen eyes!"Simon blurted out after watching the two girls from the entrance of the door. Through this both Sara and Thea's attention diverted to him,however Simon grew shy and awkward on how Thea looked at him with a dagger-like stare.
"...they said."Simon added growing red and rushed out of the room.*Damn it!I just remembered Thea will always throw weird and uncomfortable stare to the boys!Damn it! damn it!*
Sara just laughed at how her brother acted,and looked back at Thea. The chubby girl hold Thea's hand and pulled her to sit on her single sized bed.
"Im sorry for bringing my brother here,I know that you're not comfortable near a guy."Sara smiled at her friend holding Thea's hand tight.
"..."
"You know....I just need some company in having my way here since its....."
"Yeah my place is so dangerous that I rarely get visitors,only that old hag."Thea laughed rolling her eyes.
Sara laughed at how Thea called Aling Sinang;her landlady." So! Since Simon already mentioned about laughter being the medicine of that silly swollen eyes,why dont we try something fun." Sara exclaimed.
"What?What things?"Thea asked raising a brow in confusion.
"Like watching comedy shows and movies,I have some on my laptop."
"Oh is that so?Then maybe we can try."Thea laughed.
With Simon grew bored only staying outside Thea's room,he is pissed hearing their laugh inside while its almost two hours since they started watching comedy shows. But since Simon is just alone,deep thoughts came towards him while just squatting on the wooden floor.
* Its the first time I saw Thea having swollen,I almost thought she have a disability of not being able to cry or something. But Im wondering of what could be Thea's type of guy? I mean I've liked her since she and Sara started being friends,like its the first time I saw her; talking to Sara in front of UP's campus years ago........Ugh! How can I be able to make a move on her or just make friends with if she always give me that dagger look!!!!!......................It really pissed me off that she is just inches away from me and the fact that it feels like she's miles and miles apart from me.
I feel bad not to be included in their fun,but hearing Thea's laugh clam me down.*
With those thoughts Simon calmly closed her eyes,he was interrupted with a sound of like a small bell coming from his phone. He took his phone from his pocket only to see Sara sending him a message.
"That fat pig!She could just walk here to say things not to message me!Damn it!"Simon whispered rolling his eyes and opened the message.
He went serious the moment he saw the message.
*From Sara:
Hey Simon you just opened a restocafe with that friend of yours,Demetri right? Can you perhaps hire Thea as your staff? She is currently finding some part time job right now,but our exam week is coming up. Can you?*
Simon sighed after reading his little sister's message and started typing a response.
*To Sara:
Yeah we are. I'm really okay about hiring her as my staff,but in her current state.
She looked so weak,I'm afraid she wont manage to the heavy work.*
A notification bell rang again in Simon's phone after the reply.
*From Sara:
Idiot! I think she can manage,she even have two other jobs.*
Just from that reply made Simon completely shocked and immediately typed a reply.
*To Sara:
What?! Are you serious?
Well,then if that's the case I think there wont be a problem.but still I'm quite worried about her weak state,I'll just regularly check on her.*
