CHAPTER 14
ADAM'S POV.
Two days ago...…..
School was over, and she hadn't come today too I thought I was going to go crazy, I really missed her and wanted to see her, but she wasn't coming to school, no calls, no texts absolutely no word from her I called her number countless times but she wasn't picking, I had wanted to go to her house and check up on her but I decided against it since I had not been introduced to her family officially, I was getting frustrated as time passed but did nothing, Aaron had told me that dad had been looking for me I put my hands in my pocket and made my way to my dad's study, walking through the big hallway.
I knocked but didn't hear any response so I pushed the door open and walked in to be greeted by a disgusting sight he was seated on the couch with a young girl whom I presumed should be about three to four years older than me with his hands all over her body looking like he was prepared to swallow her whole, I was disgusted but went on ahead and sat on his seat behind the table and crossed my legs, I glared at him for a little while all the while folding my arms, he ignored me like I wasn't even there, before spinning the chair around so that my back was facing him, I wasn't even supposed to be here Aaron had told me dad had been looking for me which was why I came here, to be met by such a disgusting sight.
Ever since mom had died he had occupied himself with these kind of girls and work just to get her out of his mind but it didn't seem to have been working so far, when Aaron and I spoke to him about it he had promised to stop, but here he was not giving a damn, I shook my head and brought out my phone, just the mere thought of what he was doing was pissing me off as the grip on my phone became tighter, I closed my eyes and tried to relax, counting from one to ten continuously and taking in deep breaths but this didn't seem to be working, because my phone had been squeezed and looked like a piece of paper
"Shit" I mumbled, this was about the fourth time it happened this week, the first three had happened when I went to school and realized she wasn't there, I had asked Stevens where she was but he hadn't answered me I was worried but what made me furious was the fact that he seemed to know where she was but refused to tell me.
The sounds coming from the two of them were annoying. I threw my phone and walked out of the office in disgust. "They really have no shame huh?" I asked myself in anger, which even pissed me off the more I quickened my steps and turned to my room to get my coat, Christmas had come and gone like always but this time it was kind of a little different because of her, I had met up with her that evening and we had spoken about a lot if things I opened up to her and she opened up to me telling me about everything she went through after her mom had died and how she had shut herself from the world, she going to bed every night and hoping her mom would just appear telling her it was going to be alright, I kinda felt her pain because it was almost similar to what I went through when my mom had died. The weather was still cold because of the snow and all, but all in all it was better than before, the snow had melted, so I decided to take the Maserati MC 20 I had used to go to the dance, I chuckled when I remember the look she had on her face after seeing the car.
I took my keys from the table went down to the garage opened the door and got into the car I needed to go buy a new phone again, I am pretty sure the people in the shop know me now, I shook my head and drove out.
I got down and shut the door after arriving at my destination, people stared at the car and me but I just ignored them and continued walking, my dad owned one of the biggest tech companies in the world, so we were comfortable, Aaron and I were his only two children but if he kept messing up he could be left with only one, this was making me pissed so I just went into the shop did what I wanted to do and came out, only to meet two boys around my age taking a picture with the car as if it was theirs, I didn't feel like telling them off so I opened the car for them and said "get in and keep taking pictures" while smiling at first they looked at me like I was crazy before nodding their head and doing what I had asked. One started taking pictures whilst the other struck poses and vice versa, when they were done they got up "Thank you man" one said whilst hitting my back in a friendly manner, I nodded got into the car and drove off, I shook my head thinking about how that clerk in the shop kept trying to hit on me, I shook my head again and muttered under my breath "damn, I miss her so much" I turned on my signal and parked I put my head down and thought of where she could possibly be, I picked my new phone and dialed Kevin's number asking him to track her down and send me the message of the result, I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel and kept checking the phone for the message when it finally came I checked it and started the car setting the car in motion I took a left turn and drove to Crystal's house I parked up front and decided to come by on Saturday. I drove off with my eyes on the house.
