Hera and Demeter were having a good time talking when Hestia suddenly entered the palace. The goddess was sweating profusely and seemed to come from a distant place. She was surprised to see the two in and looked at Hera's womb. When Hestia looked at her, Hera wondered.
"Is something wrong Hestia? Why do you seem so nervous?"
Hestia quickly shook her head and entered her room. Demeter was also surprised by Hestia's actions so she decided to talk to her sister.
"Are you sure? Tell me what Hestia told you okay?"
Demeter nodded and helped Hera into her room first. After she made Hera's bed, she went straight to Hestia's room. Hestia seemed restless and kept on walking back and forth. The goddess was saying something but Demeter could not hear it because she's still outside her sister's room. Demeter moved her ear closer to hear what Hestia's saying.
"How can I tell them this? Why did he even give that drink to her when he didn't know what it contained."
Drink? What drink?
"I don't know what to do anymore. How can I say that the potion Zeus gave to Hera was poisonous?"
Demeter was shocked and backed away from what she heard. The vase on the side fell because Demeter collided with it causing it to create a huge noise.
Hestia was surprised inside and quickly got out. She found the broken vase and a bracelet that belongs to Demeter.
"No."
Demeter went inside her room and locked it so no one could enter. She knelt down and cried because of what she heard.
"That's why Hera always feels bad and it's getting worse everyday. I have to tell them this."
Demeter opened the door and was surprised to see Hestia outside her room.
"What are you doing here?"
Hestia did not answer and just pulled Demeter back inside.
"That hurts!"
Hestia locked the door and looked at Demeter.
"I know you already know the truth."
"What truth?"
"Don't play dumb Demeter. You left this outside my room."
Hestia lifted the bracelet she saw. Demeter just shook her head and took the bracelet from Hestia.
"Yes, i know. So what now?"
"You should not tell anyone about what you heard. Even Hera and Zeus."
"So we'll just let our sister die? What the hell Hestia! Are you out of your mind?!"
"I want to save Hera but you know the way how to save her."
Demeter fell silent and covered her mouth.
"No—"
"We have to kill the baby."
Hera and Zeus were distracted when Demeter and Hestia approached them together. The two were silent and just ate dinner.
"It's a miracle that the both of you are together."
Demeter just smiled at Zeus and continued eating. Hestia prefers to remain silent.
"Hestia.."
Hestia stopped eating and looked at Hera.
"Yeah?"
"You looked anxious earlier. Did something bad happen to you?"
Hestia was silent and turned to Demeter who had been looking at her also.
"N-Nothing. I'm just tired."
Hestia took a deep breath when Hera did not ask any more questions. They all continued eating and finished first.
"I need to rest."
She didn't wait for the three to answer and entered her room. Demeter also stood up and said goodnight. The couple nodded.
"Don't you notice? They seem to be hiding something from us."
"You're just too worried Hera. Finish what you're eating so that you can rest."
"But it looks like they're really hiding something and I want to know what that is."
"Hera."
Hera stopped talking and just continued eating. Although he did not admit it in front of his wife, Zeus was also worried. He saw Demeter and Hestia looking at each other like they're up to something.
I need to find out what they're up to.
