Grandpa I brought sir Merrick just like you asked, Fort spoke as they both walked into the room.
You called for me Master, I'm happy to see that you are finally awake my lord we were all worried about you. Merrick said as he bowed towards Wolf he then slowly stood up. Making eye contact with him, he knew the reason as to why he was there, but he wouldn't reveal that to him. Wolf signaled for Fort to leave as they would be having an important chat and they would need the privacy to continue. Fort then made his way towards the door closing it behind himself. Reyna was waiting outside with Rhett standing behind her looking emotionless as always.
Rhett why didn't you tell me about father and what he had be doing to you and your mother. How did you find out about it Reyna? Fort asked crossing his arms as he raised an eyebrow while he questioned them.
Well, Reyna said as she began twirling her blonde locks as she looked down afraid to confront her brother.
Well what Reyna how did you know?
Well I went to go visit Rhett when I had seen father screaming at his mother in the hallway he had forced her into the room. When Rhett suddenly ran into the room he hadn't noticed me since I was hiding in the shadows. But I saw him get in front of father when he raised his hand slapping him on the face. He then pushed him bring out his whip and hitting them both I sat their with tears running down my face as I witnessed the whole thing through a small crack between the door. I then left to get help, but who could have helped us against father. I fell to the ground letting the tears flow down as I knew no one could help us. In that moment I felt helpless wanting nothing more than to help. She said as she looked down ashamed for being noisy, but mostly sad as she thought back to the day.
I'm sorry Rhett I shouldn't have been sneaking around and being noisy. I should have been more helpful like barging in the room and stopping father, but I was scared so I ended up just running away. She said as she started to feel tears forming in her eyes as she looked up at him. All she could see were his emerald eyes sadden as he thought no one knew of the incident. Rhett then walked up to her raising her head since she had lowered it and embraced her in a tight hug.
He whispered in her ear "I'm glad you didn't step in since father would have hit you too and I'm afraid that I would have hurt father if he would have done anything to you". As she heard those words it gave her a sense of security she hugged her brother tightly as they stood there for a while.
While they were hugging Fort inched closer to them embracing them both as he whispered to them " I will protect you both just watch and see", then they all separated returning back to normal as all their emotions had finally been released. Rhett had even let out a small smile as he was happy to know that his siblings actually cared for him. Fort patted Rhett on the back as they goofed around a bit as they waited outside the room.
MEANWHILE IN THE BEDROOM
How long did you know about my son hitting on woman and my grandchild? Wolf said angrily as he glared at Merrick.
This is the first time I'm hearing of this my lord. I wasn't aware of such actions that were taking place here within the mansion. Now that you mention it your son has been drinking more than usual and has been visiting their side of the palace at night. I would have never suspected that he would hit them, I am truly sorry my lord I have not protected your grandchildren to the best of my ability. Should I kill master Percy? He said honestly while looking rather calmly at Wolf.
No, no such crime will take place especially when we have no evidence I only have words to back up these allegiances. What I will be needing for you to do is to follow Rhett around secretly and make sure he is safe. Try not to be caught, while also keeping an eye on my son I don't need him to find out that I know what he has been doing since I have been in the coma.

If he so happens to lay a finger on them, I will need for you pull out your weapon and send him directly to me I shall deal with him. That coward, I did not raise him to be this way, how dare he. Now go on and follow Rhett around secretly I recommend that you use the invisible spell so that you will not be caught. Try to keep them out of danger and report to me at night once they have gone to bed. Stay at his side as much as you can.
Yes my lord, he replied as he walked out the room. Once outside he clashed with the children that were waiting patiently outside the room. He excused himself as he went around to the corner to await for Rhett to leave the room so that he could do his job as was requested of him.
