While Fort was speaking with his father, Reyna was waiting outside her grandfather's room awaiting for Rhett to come out. When a maid walked up to Reyna to speak with her.
Excuse me, young master Reyna your father has instructed me to take you to the entrance as a carriage is here to take you to a surprise location. The maid told Reyna, it only caused her to furrow her brows as her father had never taken her anywhere before.
She hesitated at first but knew that if she didn't follow the maid her father would only get angry. Possibly punish her and the maid so she began to walk behind the maid towards the entrance. She walked with her head towards the floor as she felt that something was off. She tried her hardest not to show her tears in front of others. She kept following the maid when suddenly she bumped into something she looked up only to see a man dressed in fancy black clothing. He was quite tall as she had to step back only to be able to see him well. He looked down at her with grey blue eyes piercing into hers almost as if he looked into her soul. She turned away quickly as she could feel his energy of power emitting off of him. As he noticed the child turning away he smirked slightly then face the maid who was mesmerized by his beauty. His dark brown hair brushed towards the back showing all of his features. The maid blushed as she knew that he had caught her oozing over him. She turned as well hiding her face from him.
Where are the two of you headed too since you didn't see me walking? A deep voiced had echoed throughout the small hall causing them both to turn towards the man.
Sorry my lord but I was taking lady Reyna here to the entrance as a carriage is awaiting for her to leave to the to the southern royal mansion for her to live out the rest of her days. She said as she couldn't help but look down. Reyna overhearing what they were talking about had just realized exactly what her father was doing. He was trying to get rid of her, just like he had done with his mother when she became sick. It only brought her sadness she was trying hard to hold her tears back.
Why is Percy trying to get rid of the child, isn't she his daughter. What did lord Wolf say about this? He asked raising one of his thick brows up as he questioned the maid more.
W...Well Lord Wolf doesn't know about this as he has just awaken from his coma. Master Percy doesn't want him to be stressed out so we have been informed not to tell him anything. She said shaking a bit as she could feel the anger emitting from him. She just continued to look down averting his eyes.
Since Percy is trying to get rid of the child I'll take her off his hands. He suddenly turned and a man had appeared from behind him. They hadn't noticed him before but he looked to be his aid. He spoke to the aid instructing him. He then turned back as the quiet man behind him walked away after he bowed his head towards his master.
I think 500,000 pieces of gold should be enough for the child. He said with his deep voice echoing throughout the hall shocking both Reyna and the maid. He snapped his fingers as the aid dressed in a black suit appeared once again handing him a case filled with gold coins. He threw it at the maid and snapped his fingers again and the aid stepped forward picking up Reyna gently bridle style as he began to walk away. The maid had a confused look on her face as she looked into the case that shinned bright with the golden coins. She tried to speak but for some reason no words made their way out. The man brushed past the maid, leaving her in a state of shock which led to her being speechless during the process. He had turned the corner causing him to be out of sight. Reality had come back to her as she shook her head trying to figure out what had happened exactly she then took off running after Reyna to retrieve her as she knew Lord Percy would be upset.
By the time she reached the front door the man carrying Reyna had already placed her inside the huge white carriage with gold details. Reyna was sitting their quietly lost in her thoughts. Knowing that no one could save her now the maid had accepted the coins even if she didn't she would have been sent away by her father, just like how he sent her mother away.
Please PLEASE PLEASE, w.....wait. The maid screamed out to the man in the suit that stood outside the carriage. Reyna turned upon hearing her voice, she looked out of breathe as she could assume that she ran all the way here.
What is it that you need? What happens to be the problem? Do you wish for more gold coins. The man said in a calm voice, Reyna couldn't see his face but she could only imagine how he looked in that moment.
No No that coins isn't the problem, but you can't take Lady Reyna away. Master Percy ordered for her to go to the southern royal mansion not with you. Whoever you are. She said with anger slightly in her tone as if she was irritated by the whole situation, placing the heavy bag on the floor in front of him.
I don't see the problem here, Master Percy is getting rid of her. Who is to say that she can't come with us instead of the southern royal mansion. He said giving her a glare almost like he wanted to kill her right there for speaking to him in that tone. Reyna could only think to herself in that moment. Realizing that her own maid didn't care to save her just wanted to follow orders. She would refuse to follow her father's orders. She stood up pushing the door open looking straight at her maid. Making eye contact as she glared at her.
I WILL NOT GO TO THE SOUTHERN ROYAL MANSION, I REFUSE! Reyna screamed out causing everyone to look at her as she had blurted it for everyone to hear.
Well you heard the little lady she will be coming with me. You can go tell your master that when you give them that case of gold coins. The same man from before said as he had appeared on the entrance of the front door looking out to the chaos in front of his carriage. He walked slowly winking at the maid before he stepped inside ordering for them to leave. The maid blushing red like a tomato stood there seeing them leave not being able to stop them. She picked up the case and began to walk back to the mansion. Reyna could not help but look back at her home as they began to leave, upset that she hadn't said goodbye to her brothers or her grandfather. She could only hope that they would be safe. The carriage rode away leaving the estate behind leading Reyna to her new home, not knowing who the man in front of her was.
