"Guess it is happening at last," Rena reported softly. The screen then went from black to blue and then to read, at last, the screen was returning to the original color blue.
Liam was quietly staring at the screen, Rena was doing nothing different than Liam. Only Ava was the one, she was not even able to see what was happening with eh screen, she was just able to see the color of that screen glow on Rena's face.
"This is strange," Liam murmured under his breath, no one was able to hear him.
"The screen is locked in blue? But why? Where are the apps and system notifications and other things?" Rena questions, she was not even able to control her excitement.
"Who knows, I am not the one who brought this system in the world."
"This is the last call or the last threat or the last warning for you Liam," Rena glared at Liam, behind her, over her shoulders. Liam was having a neutral face until he listened to what Rena wanted to relate it to, "Just enough with your sarcasm, not I and neither Ava is finding it funny." Rena's glare more deadly, Liam's face turned pale. The horror covering him.
"Got it." Liam moved his pale face away from Rena, his orange hairs fell over his forehead as he did that. His deep green eyes were showing how scared he was because of his sister's warn.
"Liam." Ava chimped in between. Liam was already looking in her direction but he was looking at the space, he lowered his green eyes to look at Ava. "By any chance, just to confirm it, have you pressed the confirm button that was going to appear after you reach the end of the document?"
"Eh?" Liam was shocked at the spot, his eyes went wide in disbelief a recklessness, I bet he was already feeling like a dork.
Liam moved quickly facing the projector, "Shit! The button is not appearing and hence the system will not update!! What a fool!!" Liam started furiously messing his orange hairs. He was angry at himself. Rena got up, she was staring at Liam as he put that act, she got up quietly.
Liam stopped acting gross and looked at what Rena was going to do. Liam thought that Rena will come near him, but the change of sides. Rena turned, the chair was in front of her, her hand went for the remote that was lying on the top of CPU when Liam brought it from the projector's top.
Liam and Ava were predicting what Rena was going to do and that is what happened. She scrolled down the file and suddenly bright neon green color gleamed on their faces.
"Haha, guess Ava was the one who was listening most carefully." Rena started laughing and then stopped when Liam started his way towards Rena.
"No, no. I am not that good listener, the only thing was that I read alongside as Liam was reading us that. I was doing both, that is the reason I remember this." Ava's serious face broke into a shy, nervous face.
Liam took the remote out of Rena's hand softly. Then clicked some buttons to select the bright neon green button that was shining over the room. "Okay, now let us see."
Liam kept the remote back on the CPU's top. Rena stood staring at him, she just kept staring and Liam even took the mobile out of her hands, "Better be with the owner." Liam added. That didn't pissed Rena, nor Ava.
Liam's eyes stared continuously at the screen of that mobile, pretending like nothing just happened here. It took some time but still, the screen of that mobile was blue. This time Ava got curious and moved behind Liam, she tried to see over Liam's shoulder.
Liam is not that tall, and Ava is also not that small, but the difference that was making Ava look over Liam's shoulder was that Liam is still an inch or so taller than the small, fragile, and cute Ava. She was trying very desperately to see, from one left side to another right side.
"Hey Liam, lower your arm, Ava is not able to see." Rena pointed. Liam moved his gaze to Rena and then back to Ava, behind him.
"Oh! You are here? Since when? Should have told me if not visible." Liam didn't notice at all? What a bad observer. Liam lowered his arm, now Ava was able to see beside his waist. Ava didn't found the question answerable so she just didn't answer Liam and kept staring at the screen of the screen. "I never felt you standing behind me, I just thought that I am the only one observing the screen and nobody wants to see." What a selfish one.
"Because you act on your selfishness." Rena took her first step to make it till Liam, her blue eyes were looking down, at the floor as she walked.
"I – just – th."
"Let is be, not interested in your excuses, I know you are into your world and hence not even aware about the environment." Liam stopped in between and then again answered Rena.
"Ha~ Thanks for understanding me, as expected of the big sister." Liam broke out laughing.
"very funny right? Then what happened to the system of that mobile?"
Liam stopped laughing at once. He moved his head to eh screen of that mobile, which is so-called the system, the paranormal system.
"No Rena, not a single thing, the screen is still blue, not changing at all." Liam lifted his gaze at Rena. She was looking down at the mobile in Liam's hands.
'If we didn't appreciate the green button that appeared, I mean never appears though. The mobile still started acting weird, but why? Thi system doesn't do anything other than sending the notifications then why did it this time..?' Uh! Liam gasped after thinking and finding the answer inside his mind.
"Rena maybe-" Liam didn't go the time to complete his sentence. The bright light, the bright yellow light glowed out of the mobile as it did before. The light went on brightening.
"W-what do you>?" Rena's voice was hiding behind the light, Liam, Rena, and Ava all closed their eyes. That was a much blinding light. That was at that level to blind them. It has already been the same 2 other times also but still, they are not used to it. Of course, they won't though.
The mobile fell from Liams hands on the floor, he scrambled on the floor, his both the hands covering his eyes which got hurt. Liam was the closest one to the mobile, it was obvious to happen so.
The light was not as it was before. This time the light is glowing more, this time is started glowing brighter. That light was not giving up on growing brighter and brighter until the room was filled with the light.
A system notification was sounded, the system notification, a voice notification went off. But unfortunately, no one was able to hear it except Liam. The light didn't only blind them but also made it seem like the voice is not even a voice. They also feel being defeat.
.
"Maybe, I don't know what happened." Liam's eyes were opening slowly, his vision in front of his eyes was blue, he was too able to see clearly or his vision was adjusting. Rena and Ava were sitting beside him. As Liam was getting up. Yes, he found himself lying on a soft mattress. 'Just what? For god's sake.'
Liam still felt his body weak. He was making it somehow to get up using his elbow. "Ah~" Liam groaned and then moaned while trying to get up. Not only his body but his eyes were also paining. The vision was clearing.
"Oh! Sister Rena." Ava pointed at Liam. Liam saw Ava above him, in reality, Ava was sitting beside him.
"Ah! He is getting up, wait for Liam I will get some water." Rena was on Liam's right side. Liam was still confused. Only he was able to hear Rena sprint down the stairs, his eyes were not able to see Rena when she got off the bed.
"Carefully, carefully Liam, don't push yourself okay?" Ava grabbed Liam's right side and her one hand supporting Liam's back. She was on his left side, she was sitting very close to Liam more likely to say Liam was sleeping on her laps, but in reality not.
"I.. I... what happened?" Ava didn't' answered Liam's' question, she just helped Liam get up. He soon realized that he was in Rena's room, his eyes frowned through his surrounding, he was on the big pink bed.
"Try getting up and then moved back to get some backrest, to lean against the wall." Liam exactly followed Ava's instruction. Too desperately and slowly Liam made it lean against the wall.
