Very shortly after the car pulled down a drive with trees lining both sides. The car pulled up to a school building before Sara exclaimed, "The Bay City Children's Academy. Why did you bring me to the most prestigious academy in the city?" Sean's smiled at her words. "You've heard of this place?" Sara nodded as they got out of the car, "my father tried to get me accepted but I wasn't accepted"Sean chuckled as the reached the entrance, "It would've been impossible for you to come here." Sara was stunned at his words, "hey I was top of my class what do you mean."
"You weren't an orphan. This school was founded by my father 30 years ago. It has only accepted orphans since the beginning. Over the past 15 years we have began to poach the best teachers and raised the prestige of it. We constantly get applications from rich families but we continue to only accept orphans." Sara pondered his words before she spoke, "so all of the kids here are orphans?" Sean only hummed in response before saying, "This is where John and Claire first met. He was a senior and she was a sophomore. This is also where Frank came to school but that was before we started improving it." Sara was stunned by his words as they walked into a class room filled with high school aged children.
The room became silent as everyone instantly recognized Sean. "Good afternoon Headmaster Sean." The young men and women rang out in unison. Sean nodded in response before signaling for the teacher to continue. The class was learning architectural engineering, as Sean walked around the room writing notes on different students. Sara found a seat next to a young girl who was busy drawing a building. Sara leaned over and looked at her drawing when she felt a hand rest on her back, causing her body to become rigid. She felt the hand begin rubbing her back in a soothing manner before she looked up to see Sean's profile next to her. Sean's voice was heard, "good concept but what is wrong with this wall right here?" The student stopped drawing before looking at where he was pointing. The student's softly responded, "the wall I have drawn, in conventional construction would be too weak to hold the weight above it but if we add a structural support here we should be fine with a few extra tons to spare." Sean smiled before looking up at the teacher, "Kristopher good work as always. Your students seem to get brighter every time I visit." He then looked at Sara his face inches away, his brown eyes seemingly trapping her. Sean whispered, "let's go honey." Sara only nodded in response as the entire class watched the two leave.
As the couple walked back to the car Sara thought aloud, "shouldn't they be on Christmas break?" Sean stopped next to the car when he heard the words. After the two entered the car Sean responded to her thought, "We give them a Christmas break, however the school not only provides basic curriculum we also have many engineering classes, arts and design, computer sciences, advanced subjects in the core areas, and other elective classes. We also teach all the students basic self defense. Most of the elective classes have to be done when college professors are available which tends to be during holidays. By the time an average student graduates from here they will have enough credits to be in 2nd year college courses with some farther along than that. We provide all of the students that wish to attend college with scholarships and even pay for trade school for those that wish." Sara looked at Sean stunned, "that sounds expensive how did you afford it before Dearborn?" Sean smiled, "that story ties into the history of Dearborn itself. I'll tell you that tonight but first we have to go round up Monica who seems to have gotten in a sticky situation with someone." Sara nodded as the car continued down the road in silence.
Shortly after arriving to a building Sean signaled to Sara to wait. When Sean left the car the driver did as well. Sean passed some hand signals to him before taking an earpiece and radio from the driver. As Sean walked into he disarmed a man who tried to surprise attack him. After making his way through the building disarming and knocking out almost everyone he walked into the main room where he stabbed the man by the door before exclaiming, "Isaac you've gotten sloppy. Maybe this is why you've lost the family smuggling operation." Isaac Humphries looked at Sean before exclaiming, "Why are you here. Claire should've shown up." Suddenly Claire, John, Frank, and Mr. Berkowski walked into the room. All the men still standing in the room immediately dropped their weapons as they knew what killing one of these people would mean but didn't dare try to kill 3 generals at the same time. Sean maintained silence as Claire led a group of men in an escorted the thugs out leaving only the 5 men left in the room.
Sean broke the silence in his icy voice, "Isaac what game are you playing at? I've already talked to the team protecting Monica. She's currently enjoying Ice cream on the pier." Isaac looked at Sean shocked. "How do you know this?"
Sean glared at Isaac, "You think I don't keep tabs on my sister." The words froze Isaac who meekly responded, "I was only trying to draw someone out and give me back the smuggling operation." Sean was truly dumbfounded but it didn't show. "Let me get this straight you decided to get The Black Wolf to show himself by threatening to kidnap someone under his generals protection after you already offended him. What a moronic decision."
"Wait how do you know all of this?" Isaac exclaimed. "I am the person you're looking for. Don't you realize, why would 3 Underworld Generals come to my aid if I wasn't? But now that you know this information I cannot allow you to leave." Sean said coldly as the temperature in the room seemed to drop. Suddenly Claire burst into the room. "Boss." Claire said hesitantly, "your driver has been knocked out and your car is gone." Sean froze when he heard the words. Fearing the worst he looked at Claire, "the woman in the car?" Claire only shook her head in response not daring to utter the words. The silence from Sean seemed to suffocate everyone in the room before Sean spoke, "Send him to the wilderness and find her now!" Then Sean marched out of the room.
Meanwhile a plane landed on the private runway of Bay City. Elder Carmichael and the young man got out of the plane before entering a car. As they made their way to the city the young mans phone rang. After a brief conversation he turned to his boss. "Someone has silenced all Underworld Networks in the city." The old man nodded before responding, "He's here. I've never seen one of the Generals take such a drastic measure. Do we know why?" The young man shook his head. "That's the thing. Information was going around as usual until about 5 minutes ago then complete silence. It is as someone just flipped a switch shutting down all information in the city." The old man coughed before responding, "quick and ruthless, whatever has happened will shock the city to the core."
