If not let me tell you what it is The Yin and Yang were born from chaos when the universe was first created and they are believed to exist in harmony at the centre of the Earth. During the creation, their achievement of balance in the cosmic egg allowed for the birth of Pangu (or P'an ku), the first human. The yin, the dark swirl, is associated with shadows, femininity, and the trough of a wave; the yang, the light swirl, represents brightness, passion and growth.
Now that you know what they are, what if the yin yang turned into cores ? And nobody could ever find it?
The golden core - spiritual magic like no other. It can give immorality, has golden energy, cannot be killed, not human, the only way to kill them is by killing the demonic core, can heal people and themselves, can bring people back to life, can make Angel's, sees the person's past mistakes.
The demonic core - demonic energy that is more powerful than Wei wuxian himself. Is immoral, can make shadows, can turn anybody into their slaves, can make corpse come to life with out music, is not human, insane, might or might not have humanity, can only be killed if the golden core is destroyed, can kill anyone with a snap of a finger no matter how far or wide, might be a cannibal, can take spirits .
The cores can choose who they want to be the host, if the host is not a match the person will die a painful death. If the host is perfect, they will go inside your body and transform you and you will remember the past hosts before you. The demonic core can choose a male or female but mostly female
