About four minutes after the revelation was spilled from my lips my mother and father came bursting into the door. The girl under me had gone quiet and she looked like she had been caught in the biggest trouble of her life. My mother came over to me and touched my shoulder.
"She is safe...please..." Hildr released me and I almost fell on top of the girl. My father caught my shoulder hauling me back and my entire body started to tremble with the effort it took to stand. My father carefully lowered me into a kitchen chair taking the load off my feet.
"Miss Cara, how is this possible?" They looked at me and then at the girl now sitting on the other chair across from me.
"Yvonnie...do you want to explain?" My mom's eyes turned and locked on the girl who shrank back in her chair.
