Without him, my parent would have never split up, I would not have had to deal with that woman who 'raised' me, the heartbreak of learning my entire life was a lie, and lose the only person who cared for me selflessly. And here I am staring down a part of my family with the threat assessment of an enemy applied. He blinked a couple of times.
"You must pay the blood debt." Hildr wanted to flash forward she wanted to take charge, but I saw something in his eyes. He didn't want to do this, he wanted his family back. His daughter, he wanted to get to know his granddaughter. This wasn't going to play out as we thought, he was hiding something.
