Quast turned around in his bed to the left and to the right, but he couldn't go back to sleep, he groggily opened his eyes and looked at the ceiling for a few minutes, the blanket was taken off of himself and he sat on his bed, with his head turned towards the window to see that it was dark outside, it seemed like it was the middle of the night, he stood up and took his phone to see the time, it was now 1:13 AM in the morning, with his eyes directed at his phone, he saw that a message from Albert was there, Quast decided not to read it right now, with his phone in hand he went to the toilet, he took a leak while scrolling on his phone, the toilet was flushed and he went to wash his hands, the phone was deposited in his pocket and the sink was turned on, he washed his hands and bent down to take a drink from the tap, after that he dried his hands off and took his phone back to his room and opened the message that Albert had written him.
[Albert]
["What was with that question you asked me early in the morning today? You know, the one where you asked me if I could see something in front of Jerry, what was it all about?"] - Today 1:52PM
Quast knew Albert quite well, and he knew that Albert was interested in fictional stuff, as for he made that quite vocal, Quast knew in the back of his head that this was bound to happen, but still decided to try and ignore it for now.
He started writing a message to Albert, but looked at the time and decided not to send the message after all, after thinking for a little bit he decided that if Albert was to ask again today at school, then Quast was going to think of something on the spot.
Quast remembered that he had school and hadn't done any of his homework, or in fact he didn't know what homework he had, and it was too late to ask someone so he decided to pack his school things and go back to bed.
He put on his pajamas and went to bed again, in the next moment the lights were turned on in his room and his mom was saying he had school, even though Quast had slept for a lot of cumulative time his eyes felt like he hadn't blinked in a few hours, after lying on his bed for a few more minutes he stood up and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and begin another day, the day began as it usually would, and after taking his backpack and biking to school again, he walked in through the class' door and looked at his seat and then to the the desk in front of him, and the desk near him, Jerry and Albert weren't there yet.
Quast went to his desk, he put his backpack on the ground near it and sat down, he looked at the timetable once again and took his pencil case and mathematics things out. Quast started fiddling with his pen and looking at the clock, when suddenly Albert walked in, and after him followed Jerry, Quast redirected his attention towards them and they both sat down on their respective places and took their school materials out.
After a little bit of an awkward silence Albert turned to Quast.
"Did you read the message I sent you?" Albert asked.
"Yeah I did, but it was really late at night, that's why I didn't answer it, and I decided to go back to sleep anyways." Quast decided not to lie.
"Ok then, answer it." Albert demanded.
"I forgot what was the message was about." Quast said truthfully once again, because he had indeed forgotten.
"I asked you what that thing yesterday morning was, with you asking me if I saw something in front of Jerry over there." without a moment of hesitation Albert said.
"Visual hallucinations." Jerry turned towards Albert and added.
Quast got a great idea and decided to play along. "Wow Jerry, I told you not to tell anyone." he sounded disappointed "But what Jerry said was correct, I was so sleep deprived because of school, that I was starting to hallucinate, that's why I excused myself yesterday, and Jerry had a headache." he added. "When I was home I instantly fell asleep and that's why I didn't answer your message." Quast was proud by the fake story he made up.
Jerry turned towards Quast this time "Oops, I'm sorry, I forgot." Jerry fakingly apologized "Oh and my head really did hurt yesterday, I think it was called a tension headache or something." Jerry lied kind of badly, but made it sound convincing.
"Yeah." Quast added. "I think those are the answers you were looking for."
"Hmmm." grumbled Albert, still not convinced by the story because of some flaws in it, but still decided to let it go. "Alright I guess, but if something supernatural really is happening, then please tell me guys."
"We will, Albert, we will." Quast reassured.
The bell rang and the mathematics teacher, Miss Johnston walked in, Mary Johnston the Maths teacher was a well respected teacher by the students, mainly because her lessons were the most entertaining and fun, everyone in the class sat back down on their desks and awaited patiently for further instructions.
The teacher suddenly began talking "Why do you guys think algebra was invented?" she asked and turned towards the class, everyone in the class, even Quast and Jerry, rose their hands, she picked one of the boys in the back and he jokingly answered "To make the lives of students harder."
"Well almost." she answered "It was actually invented to make solving problems easier, but the current education system isn't really showing that, is it?"
Everyone in the class agreed.
"Well, I can't really do anything about it so have these worksheets, after you are all finished with them we can play some games, and learn through visuals." she said. "Any questions?" she asked.
No one said anything and after the teacher passed the handouts everyone began working, but Quast couldn't concentrate, and neither could Jerry.
It was the perfect time to use the communication function of the system.
A little window appeared in front of Jerry.

Both of them didn't know what to do, and after a little bit of thinking Jerry had an idea.
