"Franklin," That name resounded repeatedly in her head. Adira was Franklin's mother?! Ever since she researched him, his name became stuck in her head like an obsession, nor did she expect this badass woman to be his mother.
"Y-you're Franklin's mother?" She thought aloud.
"I am Ben's mother. I have no Idea this Franklin you speak about," the woman said without an ounce of emotion.
Scarlett was surprised by her comment, that was an odd reply. Why does she sense some sort of grudge between mother and son?
"Oh, now I remember, Ben's going to be Jasper's best man. You both have met already, forgive me for not introducing Adira, his mother to you," Amelia apologized.
Scarlett shook her hands, "No, it's okay. It slipped your mind," she said with a smile yet took that opportunity to map out the difference between this woman Adira and her son.
