I wake up to the smell of bacon and eggs, it's to early. "Please let it be 10 am. I would love the irony."~ I look over to find a cold bed. Shit, it was all a dream wasn't it? "Yep. Sorry about that. But it was a cool one."~ I hear the door to the bathroom open, Thomas's golden hair sticking to his face.
He had a white shirt, with a plaid button up on top, with matching pants and his go to Adidas's. I fucking hate you. "You gave me a choice. Tell the truth or lie about it being a dream. So I chose the latter."~ Thomas waves at me, as I slowly wave back, sitting up in my seat. "Good morning, sleepyhead." He says, smirking as he walked over to me.
"I just want to point this out, I said that line first. You plagiarized." I state, before he gives me a quick peck on the lips. "You need a shower." He whispers, grabbing his phone off the charger, before walking out, and into the hallway. I groan, slowly getting up, and out of bed. "I need a driver's license." I mutter, before walking into the bathroom.
"I just want to point this out, I said that line first. Really? Uh, boys are annoying."~ Angel girl, god I really need a name for her, mimics, appearing in the mirror. That is sexist, I think. "Yeah, about as sexist as you calling girls sluts."~ Her hair was in a pony tail this time, but she had the same clothing.
Luckily, I never did that. "Still, I have proof of men being complete assholes. But it's fine."~ She says, shrugging her shoulders. What are you doing here? Why can't you stay in my head? "I'm still in your head, just you can see me."~ So you choose how you want to annoy me? "Precisely."~
I know you want to say something, so just say it. "I don't want to say anything." I know you do, so I'd rather you just spill it- "You two said I love you." I look at her, well the hallucination, and glare at it, her, whatever!
Ok, I'm still confused as to why you're acting like this. "Have you not seem at least one love story!"~ No. "Have you read a book containing a love story?" ~ I haven't read a book since I was like, two. "Why do I have to be stuck with you. Whatever, after saying I love you, you can't go back. There's no way."~ I still hate you. "Go ahead, I don't really mind." ~
Can I go take my shower in piece now? "Nope, I'll be watching you."~ Oh, fuck off. "Ok, fine I'll stop, only when you say I'm your best friend."~ Can you leave. "Not until you say it." ~I'm not saying it. "Than I'm not leaving."~ Really, are you being serious. She stands their, glaring at me. I wait a couple of seconds, her not moving an inch.
Are you actually going to do this? "Say it!"~ I'm not going to say it. More seconds go by. Fine your my best friend, can you go now?! "Yes, ma'am."~ She says, smirking.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Thomas asks, turning his head towards me. "Even if I come back, Im going to need to get clothes. I'm not a barbarian, Tommy boy." I say, as he rolls his eyes at the nickname. "Ok well, you know where to go if you need me. I'm going to talk to Ma about why I wasn't at home." Thomas says, groaning as I opened the door, before stepping out the door."
I nod, closing the door and leaning into the car. Thomas glances at something behind me, before looking back at me. "Love you." He whispers, as I smiled. "Oh my GOD!!!!"~ "Love you too." I say simply, my face burning. He smiles, before glancing behind me again. "You should probably.." Thomas says, as I turn around, June looking back at me from the porch, glaring at the car. "Yeah, your right." I agree, walking into the front yard. I walk over to her, smiling the entire way. This will be fun. "I will start the timer on how long it takes for her to bring Thomas up."~ I walk up the stairs, breathing out as he stares at Thomas's car.
"I heard about what happened with mom. She says simply, as I nod my head, scooting pass her to get inside. "Zero seconds, wow that a new record!"~ I walk through the living room to get to the kitchen, grabbing a glass, and placing it under faucet, instantly getting a water stream.
"Mom's thinking about taking you to one of those church centers for kids." She says, following me into the room. "And I totally agree with her. I think your sick, Park. And the only way to change that is by talking to someone." She states, as I grasp the glass tighter, turning off the faucet.
"I know you don't want to be far away from us, but I think it will be best if you did go." She explains, in her I know you don't want to go, but I'm going to ask like it's best for you. "They aren't going to torture you, just help you, mentally atleast. Mom gave them a call, and it's only a four week trip. You still get to go to school there, and they will help you with treatments-"
"I'm not sick." I say simply, taking a sip of the clear water. She looks at me, sighs, before looking through the window. "Who was that person you got out of the car with?" She asks, turning to look back at me. She's going to kill me, "No she won't, just say it was Starla."~ "Thomas." I answer, taking another sip of water.
She looks at me hesitantly, before leaning on the island, using her weight to push herself up, and onto the marble surface. "Whose Thomas." She asks, watching as I sigh, placing my drink next to me. Be confident. "Ha! Like that's going to get you anywhere with your family."~ "My boyfriend." I say, trying not to smile. I can call him my boyfriend! "Your still talking about this. I thought it was normal by now."~ Let me have my moment.
She sighs before looking at the ground, and I can tell she's annoyed at me. "Yes! We won!!"~"Is he sick too?" I groan, rubbing my eyes agitatedly. "He's not sick. We're not sick. I gave you guys all day to get over this. I am totally fine." I say, placing both hands at my chest. She nods, scooting herself away from the edge.
"Where did you go last night?" She questioned, her voice earily calm. Shit, she's going to kill us, isn't she. "I went to his Aunts house to stay the night." She looks at me, almost disgusted, before sighing, lifting her hands to fix tight pony tail. "Really? What were you two doing?"
The glass slipped out of my hand, the sound of glass shattering fills our ears, but only one of us flich. "What were we doing? Oh my god, this is insane. NOTHIING!! We were doing nothing- actually no, that's not true. We were talking. Talking about what we were going to do about you. About both of you. Because his aunt said I could live at THEIR house, until I was eighteen. So kick me out! I dare you, because I wouldn't care. I would have left anyways." My voice almost breaking through the middle of it.
She stares at me for as second, before we heard soft footsteps coming from the stairs. June turns around, just as Mom walks into view, her smile fading as she looks at me. "Hi, baby." She whispers, as I look down, kicking the small pieces of glass on the floor, mixing it with the water.
"Were you ok, last night?" She asks, as I slowly nod my head, still not looking at her. I could hear footsteps coming closer, before stopping. "That's all I care about." She says, and I could feel her smile all the way from here. The smile that once gave me happiness and piece, now making me want to run back to Thomas's car.
"I know he's a good kid, Parker. But you have to understand that we want what's best for you. And I know that this is what's best for you. It's only 16 weeks, and we already signed you up. It's not to far, just in Phoenix, and-"
"Actually, mom. I think your right. I think I should go." I say, looking up at her shocked face. I smile a forced smile, as she gives me one back. "Aw baby, I'm so proud of you. You will like it, I promise."
