Chapter 25 - Chapter 25

I walk back outside, not pad in hand, and towards Thomas's car from across the street. I quickly walk to the other side, knocking on the door. I could hear the car unlock, and I quickly hop in, hearing Thomas's voice. "Yeah, Ma. I was just hanging out with Aunt Bonnie." He says, as I sit there silently, watching as he leaned onto the armrest on the door.

"No Ma, I swear." Thomas looks at me, smiles, before going back to the phone. He sighs, stressfully combing his hand through his hair, before leaning back in his seat. "Yeah, Ma. Love you too. Bye." He looks at his phone, before placing it on the center console. He leans over, giving me a quick on the lips, before getting comfortable in his seat.

"So, you want to talk about what happened or…" I shrug, trying to blow the strand of black hair out of my face. "You know, the usual. Your sick, you need treatment. We are going to make you go to this dumb church place for troubled teens, for sixteen weeks, than just let you come back." I explain, as Thomas sighs, reaching over to grab my hand.

"That's bad, really really bad." He says, as if he was the one hit with a bullet. "I told them, I'll go." I explain, as Thomas quickly looks at me, eyes wide. "Wait, your not being serious, are you?" He questions, as I stay quiet. He looks at me, patiently waiting for me to say, JK bro! I just sit there.

He's going to kill me. "Not if I do first."~ "Baby, why? Actually no, I get why, but really? All the way up to Phoenix. I'm probably not going to see you everyday. Your not going to go to school here." He says, his voice pleading. I just watch him, frozen.

"You know, your Aunt lives in Phoenix, right?" I ask, a smirk growing on my face. He looks up at me, confusion taking over, until he finally understands, his face lighting up. He reaches over, wrapping his arms around my neck in a deep hug. "I hate you, I hate you so much." I smile, hugging him back.

"Aw, so cute."~ Shut it.

When he finally lets go, he manovers himself, back over to his seat, getting settled. "So, what are you going to do? What about school here, what about your parents. What about clothes?" Thomas ask, as I rub the back of my neck awkwardly. "Have you ever thought about preparing?"~ Have you ever thought about shutting up.

"I haven't really thought about that." I explain, as Thomas nods, understandingly. "Well, all I know is that I can somehow lie to my mom about me going to the school. I could probably take High School online for the time being, and hopefully I can come back after 16 weeks." I say, as Thomas laughs quietly, looking forward, before turning to me. "So, that solve most of your problems. But not all. Like, if we're still dating-"

"When we're still dating."

Thomas chuckles, before continuing. "When we're still dating, what are we going to do when you get back. Just keep it a secret?" I look at him, mind blank with ideas. "Their going to have to except it one day." I shrug, as he just nods his head.

"We should probably tell Aunt Bonnie what we are going to do." Thomas explains, as I nod my head, understanding what he means. He grabs his phone, opening it and clicking on different buttons, before handing the phone to me.

"Hey, Thomas!" Someone says on the other end, and I chuckle. "Actually, it's Park." I say, and she gasps, before laughing loudly. "Hey, Parker! Sorry about that. How is it going?" She asks, and I can hear the happiness in her voice. "Probably because she knows your not dead." ~"Uh, you know, pretty fine. I, uh, talked to my Mom." I say, and I hear a hum, urging me to go one.

"She signed me up for this church treatment school, and it was in Phoenix, we thought that I'll just be able to stay there." I say, hoping she would still have the same answer. "Of course sweet pea. You can stay for as long as you want. Do you know when your mom will want you to go?" She asks, instantly understanding what me and Thomas came up with.

"Uh, I actually don't know. I should probably stay here until I actually have to go." I explain, watching as Thomas clicked a button, making the car turn on. "Ok, well just tell me when you are ready to stay. We'll be ready." She says, and I smile nodding my head at him to start driving.

Thank you, so much Bonnie." She laughs, and I could tell Thomas was smiling, even though he was looking away from me. "Don't say thank you just yet, I haven't even done anything." She jokes and I chuckle, as I could hear her laughing as well. "Thanks for the update though, Park. It was nice talking to you." She says, as I watch Thomas hit the main road of my neighborhood.

"You too, Bonnie." The phone call ended, and I sighed, placing Thomas's phone in the center console, before sitting back, enjoying the ride.
