The arena is huge. It's at full scale, and the entire city is seated at the top. The top corporations sit at the top, and they watch them like hungry lions looking for prey. Crescent gives Ice a hug before the arena calls for the three. Aaron gives Crescent a nod, and he heads off first.
"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to this year's Championship! Coming in first is our school's two year reigning champion Aaron Kaito! With bloody earthbending and firebending, he has shaken up all the people he's faced in the past two years! The only champion that I can think of who's stronger than him? No one! Keep your eyes on our champion everyone, and watch him tear the other two apart!"
Crescent takes strong strides onto the field. Aaron nods at her, and she nods back. Her aura is strong, and the crowd goes silent. The announcer starts up again.
"Next we have this year's strongest contender, Crescent Hiu! Having finished the school's princess in 5 minutes, and ripping brooches off at capital speed! Truly a person to keep your eyes on in the battlefield! Her airbending and waterbending are predatory, and her agility and speed rivals Estelle's. Ladies and gentlemen be sure to keep an eye out for this year's biggest challenge!"
Ice nods at his brother, and smiles lightly at Crescent. His walk is dignified, and he doesn't rush.
"Finally ladies and gentlemen we have our now student council president Ice! Don't look down at him even though he's a monobender. He's perfectly capable of bending water in ways you could never imagine! His hands are elegant, and he moves with grace. Could he be the one who would take down both the champion and the new girl? Well sit tight in your seats everyone because this year's battle is going to be bloody."
"Are you ready?" the crowd shouts in response.
"3!' Ice gets into stance.
"2!" Crescent positions her hands.
"1!" Aaron flies in Ice's direction.
Ice dodges Aaron's move with grace, and he delivers an uppercut to his jaw. Water wraps around him and Aaron uses the earth to absorb it. Crescent stays in the air, and she hangs off of one hand. Ice and Aaron have a bloody battle. Ice's blades pierce and scratch Aaron's skin, and Aaron shoots lightning at Crescent. He sends one end to Ice and the other to Crescent. Crescent directs it back at him with one hand and Ice dodges it. The crowd gasps at Crescent's move.
Aaron traps Ice's feet, but Ice manages to freeze Aaron in ice. He's unable to move, and just as Ice is about to grab his brooch, Crescent snatches his. She bends it into the bucket, and a giant x is marked above Ice's name. Crescent laughs, and she frees Aaron. She wanted to have some fun with him before she would defeat him. Ice shakes his head and sighs. He walks off court to the safe area, and he drinks some water. Crescent was truly from the streets.
Crescent grins at Aaron. He tries earthbending her into the ground, but she jumps up whenever he tries. He curses under his breath, and he tries to firebend at Crescent. She dodges with grace, and his ice blades barely graze her cheek. A small trickle of blood makes its way into her mouth. Her pupils dilate and she looks like a cat. Aaron tries to snatch her brooch while her eyes stay still but he's caught off guard at how quickly she moves. Her hands form claws of ice from thin air and they graze Aaron's arm.
Blood trickles down his bicep and Crescent renders his arms useless. She makes chains of ice, and she freezes him completely in water and air. It was like a 3d graph. She pulls off his brooch and tosses it into the bucket. Aaron moves fast, and he knocks the brooch off balence in air so that it doesn't land into the bucket. Crescent hisses, and holds him back with an air whip when he tries to reach for his brooch. He traps her in earth, and she hisses. She had no way out. She was caged in from all sides. A hole is formed, and Aaron's hand reaches for her brooch.
She focuses on her hands, and she thinks over Kenma's words to her. "Fire cannot overpower earth, but it sure as hell can break through it." So she generates fire from her hands, and she breaks through it. She catches everyone off guard, and she traps Aaron in a thicker sheet of ice this time. She walks over to pick up the brooch, and she drops it in the bucket.
The arena goes silent. It happened. Reform would be brought to the school and change would be brought for the first time in the century. The Academy of the Elites would go under their first change in centuries since the start of it all.
"Ladies and gentlemen there you have it! This year's champion has become miss Crescent! Not only that, it seems that the girl has discovered a new bending! That makes her a trialbender! Take care on your way out, and we will see you next year!"
Crescent winces at her hands. They're all bloody, bruised, and burnt from the fighting. She had forgotten to wrap them before she went into the arena. The ice blades formed didn't have a smooth area since she was in a hurry. The cut on her cheek is deep, and when she zones in again, she realizes that she's just won. Estelle, Hatsumi, Ice, and Mint rush onto the arena to pull her into a hug. The first female champion in a decade, and one that would bring about the most change.
Ice lays her down into the spring and gets working on her cuts and scars. Estelle talks about how they all needed outfits for the afterparty and Hatsumi calls her stylist. They had 6 hours to get working and she was sure that it would be quick and painless. Estelle calls her makeup artists, and Mint and Ice stare at the two girls with so many questions.

The afterparty is exhausting for Crescent. So many businessmen go up to her, and so many people try to sign her under their company. She didn't want to be signed under, that would mean putting her freedom at risk. She rejects them all, and when her grandparents show up, she pulls them into a hug. The crowd is shocked.
Kenma pulls up with Naga as his ride, and when the principal tries to cover up, Kenma straight up ignores him. He pulls Crescent in for a hug, and mumbles words of praise into her hair. Naga hits the dance floor with Ignes and Helios groans about being single again. Ice meets Kenma formally.
"Pleasure to meet you Kenma," Ice nods.
"Pleasure's all mine water boy" Kenma smiles.
The night is young, and the handful of them with the rest of the elites have fun. Crescent opens up the party to everyone and the school is happy about it. She was from the rural area, and she was more than ready to show them how life was without the bling and sparkles.
The Principal pulls Crescent away to let her know that he could denounce her of her title at any time and she laughs. "Rule number 1932 of the rulebook of the Academy of the Elites. 'No status is capable of taking down a champion unless defeating them in a battle' quite funny eh?"
"Miss Crescent I will take you down by turning everyone against you mark my words."
"Have fun old man!"
When she gets home that evening, her parents greet her with a warm hug and a table full of dinner. She would be getting paid, and would even be given the chance of moving into a better place. She wanted to stay, she wanted to know that there's always something she could do to change the rural area for the better. But with titles come responsibilities, and she was more than ready to bring everyone to a new era.
