Chapter 28 - Chapter 4

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WON'T DEFEAT HIM FOR US?" Crescent shrieks. She was currently discussing with her parents over the principal. Her father had just refused to defeat him.

"We're getting old. It would be better to have someone else defeat him and take over" her dad mentions, and her mom nods in agreement.

"But everyone else I trust doesn't have the skill or accuracy! Not to mention that they can't even move half as fast as Estelle" Crescent groans.

"What about Felix?"

"My cousin?"

"Yeah, I heard he's improved drastically over the course."

"He's a monobender"

"And?"

"The principal is a dualbender. It's literally a given that he's going to accuse him of doing foul play"

"There is no foul play in firebending. No matter how much of a fit the principal wants to throw at him, he can't. Firebending can't control anything in your body except maybe body heat."

"But a monobender? Felix is going to have to be trained until he's on the verge of dropping."

"What does the principal bend again?" Crescent stares at the wall at the question. "He bends fire and earth."

It wasn't out of the question to have Felix run for principal. If Crescent managed to get her principal to pass a voting bill then they had a chance at getting Felix to principal. The only question was how. She thanks her parents and she wanders off to school. She could discuss with the student council members.

"Good morning Cressie!"

"Good morning Estelle. Do you know a way to make authority by voting? I noticed most of the other schools around us did that already"

"Ah well, there's a problem with that. Considering that our school is still doing the best out of them all, there's no chance of it. Not to mention that our principal doesn't like it that much. If we do pass one, then the chances are that only the elites would be allowed to vote. That wouldn't be much different from now"

"But at least we would be making progress?"

"But the chances of a rule like that being passed are slim. Also none of us really want to lose our positions anyways"

"Ah well."

"It's worth a shot though. I'll bring it up in our meeting later."

"THANK YOU ESTELLE! I OWE YOU ONE"
