"What do you mean I'm getting challenged?" Crescent huffed. "I'm not even in a challengeable status????"
"I don't know." Mint whined. "I was just told to bring you to the coliseum for a fight"
"EXcUSE ME??? I am not fighting a bitchass hoe who wants trouble first thing in the morning"
"How'd you know it was Hatsuki?"
"Yo. Who else would fight me? A new boy?"
"Crécelle. Maybe Astaria if you manage to meet her crush and you two become friends. Jackson's a cool dude. You guys would get along"

"The author" hEY "let's get to business. Go change in the room and you guys'll meet up in the center. If you win, you can demote her of her status as elite. You can also switch places with her. If she wins then you have to stop being friends with Ice"
"BItcH I AINT LOSING ONE OF MY FRIENDS TO HER DUMBASS" Crescent hissed.
"See you after the fight then. Don't make the student council lose their money"

Mint was gone, leaving the girl to enter the side door into the changing rooms. Sighing at her luck, she walked into the room. The outfit for an official match was heavy. Heavy armor. Crescent huffed, reading the rules to see if there was another outfit available. It was that or the gym outfit. Crescent hissed as she changed into her gym outfit. Her pin glowed from the soft sunlight through the small window. She would have to secure it well, and find a non reachable place.
The chances of either winning without skill was impossible, their elements clashed and Crescent couldn't win unless the school allowed illegal styles of bending. She walked into the arena, her hands grazed her mother's portrait before entering. "Wish me luck mom"
The girl walked out of her door. On the opposite side stood Hatsuki dressed in her PE uniform as well. Her eyes held a murderous glint, she was here to break that brooch of hers.
"The rules for the match remain the same! Any type of legal bending is allowed, grab the opponent's brooch and toss it into the bucket to win. Commencing fight in 3..."

Hatsuki moves first, her eyes are pinned to where Crescent's arms move, and she delivers a harsh swing of fire in her direction. It's sharp like a blade, but she's skilled enough to steam it with the water on her side. This would be a hard battle, all of their elements were polar opposites.
The steam that settles in the arena is a benefit to her, and growing up on the streets definitely helped sharpen her vision. Her legs move and she propels herself into the air, flying would be impossible, she still had ties on this land, but propelling was never hard. Her hands form two daggers from the mist, and launch her body from the wall at Hatsuki. Hatsuki senses the change in air speed and blocks Crescent just in time. Her hands hold fire blades, and now that Crescent's on land, it would be impossible to propel herself without being trapped first.
She catches on quickly, and traps Crescent's feet in the ground. Her hands reach for Crescent's brooch and Crescent slices her's off. Her airbending is faster, and by the time she has the dualbender's, her's is already in the bucket.
"Ding ding ding!" The bell chimes.
"We have a winner everyone!" The announcer cheers. "What rank will Miss Hatsuki be moving to Miss Crescent?"
She looks for Mint or Ice in the crowd and she spots Ignes outside the window. He only nods.
"Miss Hatsuki will not be moving ranks. I will" Crescent nod. Her voice is firm, and commanding. "I will be moving up to the Elites"
"There you have it folks!" the crowd cheers, and I hear quite a bit of boo-ing. "Miss Crescent will be moving up to the Elites!"
The two head back to change, and when she finishes, She finds the four student council members waiting for her.
"CRESSIEEEE" Estelle shrieks. "You were so cool! You were all like fwoosh, and shwoom, and kapow, and nYOOm AND LIKE"
"Ok Estelle I think she gets it" Mint pats her shoulder and she quiets down.
"Good job out there" Hatsumi nods. "However! You didn't do very good with making sure you didn't get trapped"
"Honest as always" She sighs. "I thought I was gonna be able to get her pin regardless."
"Don't be too brash" Ice mumbles.
"Sorry why was I fighting her again?"
"She wanted to prove that you weren't deserving of the Phoenix or Ice"
"Why is she in love with a waterbender? Like please" Crescent hisses.
"Jealous?"
"You wish loverboy" She sticks out my tongue at him.
"You did good" Mint smiles. "About time Hatsuki learned her place"
"I can't with y'all" Crescent mumbles.
