Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

"NOT MUCH OF A DEAL? EXCUSE ME DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH OF THE SCHOOL'S FUNDS GO INTO HOMECOMING?" Estelle yelled. Crescent had just told them about how she wasn't going to homecoming and had decided to just not go. She may have slipped up and mentioned that it wasn't that big of a deal in her opinion.

"I'm sorry! It's just my broke ass can't afford it and I don't want to bother with trying to find a dress. Too much work smh" Crescent hissed, she rubs the part that Estelle had hit her. The rest of the student council looks at her in curiosity.

"How about this. You try beating me in the obstacle course, and if you win then you get to skip Hoco." Estelle snickers. She knew very well that Crescent wouldn't be able to beat her.

"I hate you Estelle. You know damn well you're the best at parkour here in the class." Crescent groaned.

"So you'll go?"

"No!"

"Then race me" Estelle grinned. How bad Crescent wanted to wipe that grin off her face. She drags her to the school's changing rooms, and then onto the obstacle field.

"Teach! Count down for us please?"

"3"

"Estelle" Crescent groaned.

"2"

"1!"

The two sped through the obstacle course faster than before. Still on par with speed, Estelle opted to use her waterbending to an advantage. Speeding herself up with the water, she sped through the course.

"THAT'S CHEATING" Crescent huffed, flying to her pace.

"Well you can airbend so it really doesn't make a difference" Estelle grinned.

The two made it past the mark at the same time. While there were no clear rules on who won, we know Estelle won for sure.

"YOU HAVE TO GO! HAHAHAHA" Estelle laughed.

"Smh. I don't want to! It's not like I have the money to buy a custom dress or something." Crescent huffed. She really didn't. Money didn't come easy in a blacklisted household.

"I'm sure your date has all that planned out." Estelle beams.

"You act like you're my date or something" Crescent rolled her eyes.

"You never know."

The next two periods passed antagonistically slow. The lunch bell finally ringing, Crescent headed up to the tower to find the person. The climb up the tower is painful, and Crescent swears she popped a lung getting up there.

"Your highness" the figure bowed. He has silver hair, and Crescent has to do a double take to figure out who it was.

"What bring you here Ice? Also, stop calling me your highness. I'm not even of royal blood" Crescent rolled her eyes. The figure pressed her against a wall, chests pressed against one another, with a single rose stopping the two from kissing.

"Go to hoco with me?" He smiled. " I got the tickets and everything"

"I don't know my pretty boy... I might just skip hoco" She grinned mischievously.

"Then I hope this changes your mind" without warning, the male presses his lips against hers.

Letting out a muffled sound of protest at first, she relaxed into the kiss. It's gentle, and Ice makes sure that he isn't hurting her in any way. He tilts her head slightly, giving himself access to her mouth. He explores a bit with his tongue, and then pulls away. Pulling apart for air, the two panted from the lack of oxygen.

"So?"

"I would call you a player but you seem extremely inexperienced with kissing so it's a yes." Crescent panted. That one was a lie, how on earth was he such a good kisser??

"To lunch?" Cyrus holds his hand out.

"To lunch" Crescent nods. The two head down, and Ice offers to get Crescent a dress for hoco. It would be unnecessary, Crescent knew where to get a dress. She shook her head no, thinking of ways she would pay for the dress. Ice is about to speak again but he gets cut off by Mint.

"YO DID YOU GUYS FUCK?" Mint screeched, spotting the two enter the door.

"Mint not everyone is as horny as you" Crescent rolled her eyes.

"Hey. At least I'm still a virgin"

"No way. Has Crécelle not raped you?"

"Trust me. She's been close" Estelle snorted.

"Hatsuki's still waiting for your answer." Mint reminded.

"I'll go tell her I have a date now" Ice wandered off. He shoots Crescent a final wink before disappearing behind the cafeteria doors.

"I don't think that's the smartest thing" Crescent mumbles.
