Misa and the others appeared in the second world, Iroth. Misa walked ahead and saw bodies on the ground and dodged an attack.
"Misa!" Emma said and summoned her battle-axe.
Misa clashed with a swordsman and her eyes glowed then she jumped back then the swordsman stuck the blade of his sword to the ground and vanished. Misa sheathed her blade in her scabbard she took from Reid and glared.
"He killed all of these people..for their souls. The boss we are facing is.." Misa started.
"A Soul Harvester." Rebecca finished Misa's sentence.
"One of our monsters?" Elizabeth asked.
"Yeah..there are few heroes who have the ability to capture our monsters and force them against their will to fight us. That is called Renewal." Rebecca said. "When Luca was alive, heroes would capture his monsters if possible and use them as they saw fit."
"What can a Soul Harvester do?" Misa asked.
"Their name is self explanatory, but they have the power to capture souls to make their magic more powerful since a Soul Harvester needs souls to use magic." Rebecca said.
"We shouldn't stand around then..we need to get to the main base as soon as possible." Lady Kazumi said.
Misa and the others nodded and dashed to the first outpost. Misa hid behind a wall and overheard a conversation. She told the others to hide and listen.
"We don't stand a chance against those Dark Lords..Yuto is an idiot for wanting to challenge them." A wizard said.
"True, but we must defend-" The girl groaned and fell to the ground.
Misa was shocked as she watched. There was a turncoat assassin among the heroes. The assassin killed the wizard and vanished. The outpost was cleared.
"Did you see that..?" Misa asked.
"Her skills are exceptional.." Lady Kazumi nodded.
"Let us move forward." Misa said.
They all ran ahead, but the outposts were all cleared out. Soon, the assassin appeared on the top of the building and looked at the Dark Lords. She jumped down and summoned two daggers and slashed down. Kazumi blocked the attacks and her eyes glowed. The assassin vanished and appeared behind Kazumi and palmed her side. Kazumi coughed and flew into the building. Misa was shocked.
"Who...are you..?" Misa asked.
"I am..Yae..an assassin..I served the Royal Family of Iroth for 5 years..I am an antihero..Now I serve the Soul Harvester..offering her the best souls..now I will be taking your souls.." Yae dashed to Misa then dodged Emma.
"The only thing you'll be getting is the taste of death!" Emma swung her axe, but Yae was very Swift and dodged Emma.
Yae palmed Emma and made Emma fly in the air then jumped and kicked Emma into the building and threw her daggers at her. Emma glared and blocked the daggers and grunted as Yae was above her. Yae's speed was unmatched..not even Kazumi could keep up. Yae summoned a ball of aura and hit Emma with it and blew Emma into the ground. Emma coughed a bit of blood as she hit the ground.
"Emma!" Elizabeth summoned her sword. "DEX...Increase! Speed Arts: Nimble Body!" Elizabeth said and her legs glowed a bit of green then she dashed to Yae.
"It's best if you surrender.." Yae blocked Elizabeth's slash with a dagger and pushed her back and kept blocking the strikes then twirled the daggers around her finger and her eyes widened as she looked behind her.
"You've been fighting my Bat Clone.." Elizabeth smirked then kicked Yae away then spread her wings.
Yae slowly stood up and wiped her mouth. She looked at Elizabeth and vanished then appeared above her. Elizabeth blocked the attack then got palmed from behind. Yae increased her speed in return her attacks became weaker. Yae palmed Elizabeth's back and kicked her away then vanished. Elizabeth rebounded and blocked the upcoming attack and glared.
Soul Harvester watched the battlefield from the magic eye she placed outside. She giggled and watched the Dark Lords closely.
"Joshua..Help Yae..I want you to take down Misa." She said.
Joshua nodded and vanished from the building to outside. He walked to the battlefield and only targeted Misa. He dashed and summoned his sword and slashed at Misa. Misa sensed the attack and barely dodged then withdrew her sword from the scabbard and blocked Joshua's neck attack.
"You again.." Misa said in disgust.
"Hello, Dark Lord.." Joshua broke the clash and kicked Misa away and appeared behind her.
Misa summoned her lance behind her and blocked Joshua's slash. Joshua was impressed and got in a stance. Misa grabbed the lance and sensed more heroes being summoned.
Elizabeth and Yae kept clashing and their auras began to clash then their blades clashed. Yae went for the palm attacks, but Elizabeth blocked then appeared behind Yae and wrapped her arms around Yae's body and suplexed her, breaking the ground. Yae's clone vanished and the real Yae appeared above Elizabeth and summoned a huge ball of energy then shot it at Elizabeth.
"Take this! Angelic Burst!" Yae said.
The ball of energy exploded upon contact. Elizabeth was still standing and Yae was surprised. A monster fell to the ground and disappeared. Elizabeth's eyes glowed a sinister red as she smirked. Yae looked at her and was blown away by an unknown force. Elizabeth folded her arms and her aura became visible. Yae landed on one knee and coughed. She looked at Elizabeth, she highly underestimated Elizabeth. She tried to stand and couldn't.
"What's the matter Yae? Can't stand up? The reason is I used Petrifying Bite. I sapped your aura and paralyzed you. That fight was fun but it had to end soon." Elizabeth said and held her hand out in front of Yae and charged a blast.
Misa blocked the strikes from Joshua and slid back. She panted and looked at Joshua. Joshua was in perfect condition then he dashed to Misa and slashed. Misa blocked the attack and slid back. She fell on one knee and heard a battle cry. Emma slashed and Joshua dodged.
"Big Sis..." Misa smiled. "You always come for my aid.."
"There ain't no way in hell I'll let you die..I would never forgive myself..it is my job to sacrifice my life for a sibling. I'll protect you no matter what!" Emma's aura appeared and surged then she dashed to Joshua.
They entered a heated clash of the blades. Joshua's sword emitted powerful aura and he went for the Fatal Triple Cut. The slash was nearly an instant attack. Joshua sheathed his blade and Emma fell on her knees, coughing blood. Misa's eyes widened and she flashbacked to when Emma was in this situation when they battles Kurai for the first time.
"Big Sis..I won't let you die..not again!" Misa yelled. "Not again!" She bellowed and her black aura surged and her wings appeared. She dashed to Joshua and summoned her lance and slashed.
Joshua blocked and was blown to the side. He slid on his feet and looked up. Misa threw her lance and Joshua dodged it, but didn't expect the second lance and it pierced through his heart. Misa looked at him and the lance vanished from his body. Emma looked at Misa and smiled..
"You rock..as always.." Emma sat on the ground.
Rebecca walked in the room where Soul Harvester was. She summoned her scythe and looked at her.
"I don't really want to fight you..I was merely only testing my puppets.." Soul Harvester smiled. "It was fun while it lasted..but I am not the boss.."
"Who are you working with?" Rebecca asked.
"I am a freelance. I work for no one. I am acting with my own freewill..the boss you're looking for is named Orion. You might wanna go back outside." The Soul Harvester vanished in a puff of black smoke.
Rebecca walked outside and saw an arrow blitz to Misa and she yelled in terror. Misa looked at the arrow and was shocked. A barrier activated around her and blocked the arrow.
"My my..quite the coward.." Lilith floated down next to Misa and deactivated the barrier. "How is everyone's Mana?"
"I'm all out.." Emma said.
"I don't have much left.." Elizabeth said.
"I still have a full supply of Mana." Rebecca said.
"I have Mana left..but not enough to take that guy on." Misa said.
"Alright.. Rebecca it's just you and me then." Lilith sat on a pillar and summoned her whip.
Orion appeared and landed then his scarf flowed. He shot an arrow at Lilith. Rebecca shot a Shadow Arrow at Orion's arrow and they clashed and exploded. Orion dashed to Rebecca from the smoke and summoned a dagger and slashed at her. Rebecca blocked the attack and jumped back. She held her hand out preparing Death Command. Orion grabbed her arm and punched her to Lilith's statue. Lilith flew up and looked at Orion.
"Sorry dear sister, I should've caught you." Lilith looked back.
"It's fine." Rebecca stood up.
Orion drew another arrow and shot it at Lilith. Lilith dodged it and flew to Orion and cracked her whip at him, but he dodged. Orion shot 3 arrows at Lilith at the same time. Lilith dodged the arrow and landed then stroked his cheek, Charming him. Orion became immobilized for a bit.
"Too bad I can't use Betray on you..you are the only hero standing.." Lilith said then spun in a circle and kicked Orion into the building. "Rebecca, let's use that combo!"
"But it's still incomplete! And it'll use up all our Mana!" Rebecca said.
"I know. We still have to end this though!" Lilith said.
"Mmm...alright.." Rebecca said.
Lilith jumped back and charged Black Ballista to it's maximum power. Rebecca summoned a black hole. Lilith growled and kept charging her attack. Rebecca summoned a second black hold. Lilith dashed to Orion with her attack in hand.
"Dual Strike: Black Hole Ballista!" Both Rebecca and Lilith bellowed.
Lilith yelled and struck Orion with the Black Ballista and blew him into the black hole. The impact of the Black Ballista caused the space in the black hole to condense and shine brightly then explode.
"Everyone! Inside the portal!" Liliana said. "That explosion will destroy this entire planet!"
Everyone ran inside the portal. Lady Kazumi barely made it then the portal closed. They appeared on their third world, Kallas.
"Okay that was so amazing!" Misa said. "What's so incomplete about it?"
"Well for starters, Lilith would have to defy space and time for the move to work. The black hole drains both our Mana and if Lilith doesn't hit her move before her Mana completely drains, she would be sucked in the black hole and die. The entire Dual Strike is a gamble.." Rebecca said.
"I see.. I'm glad you pulled it off! That was amazing!" Misa smiled.
Lilith smiled and rubbed Misa's head. Misa looked at Lilith and giggled.
