Misa stopped and fell on one knee and panted. She still hasn't recovered fully because her Mana isn't recovering as fast. Luna let go of her and stood up.
"See I told you she wouldn't get far." Kurai said.
The man chuckled and looked at Luna and Misa. Kurai opened a portal and Queen stepped out of the portal and walked to Kurai. Her eyes were lifeless and her face a was pale.
"Queen.." Luna said. "Stop this you bastard! What do you want?!"
"We just want Misa..give her to us and we will return Queen back to you.." Kurai said.
"You..coward.." Misa growled and stood up slowly. She tried to summon her weapon but couldn't.
"Give up Misa..you wasted ALL of your Mana on Yuto..you can't fight anymore.." Kurai smirked.
Luna looked back at Misa and her scarf flowed in the wind. Kurai ordered the man to get Misa. Luna closed her eyes and aura surrounded her hand.
"I am the Hero of the Night..Please Eclipse..Dragon of the Spirit..hear my plea..allow me to use some of your power to protect Misa!" Luna said.
"That's useless..you won't have enough energy to defeat him or protect Misa.." Kurai said. "Queen stop her."
The Queen grunted as the collar on her neck beeped and forcefully made her dash to Luna. She drew her blade from her scabbard. Luna opened her eyes and they shined a cold grey and she vanished and appeared behind Queen.
"I'm sorry.." Luna said then kicked her into a statue.
"Luna!" Misa pointed.
Luna looked behind her and dodged the attack and backflipped to Misa. She grabbed Misa and dashed off.
"Follow her." Kurai said.
Luna ran faster than the wind, but the man was able to keep up. He sent energy blasts at Luna and Luna dodged them.
"Hold on tight.." Luna said.
Misa held on tight and closed her eyes. Luna spun in a circle and vanished. The man stopped and looked around. Luna placed Misa in a room in the closet and appeared outside to the man.
"Hey you..can you speak?" Luna asked.
"Y...e...s..." The man struggled to say.
"What is your name?"
"R....o...y...." He said.
"Well Roy...enjoy your final moments alive." Luna got serious and her grey aura appeared and calmly surged around her.
Roy dashed to Luna and summoned a claymore and slashed down. Luna jumped up and twirled then kicked Roy's face, sending him back. Roy grunted and roared in anger. He dashed to Luna and wildly swung his sword. Luna was dodging so fast, she was leaving afterimages. She drew her two daggers. One was white and the other was black. The fused the daggers together to make a short sword.
"When two become one...say hello to my blade Unholy Paradise.." Luna said and blocked the last slash from Roy.
Sparks were flying and Luna pushed him back and dodged his attacks again then the afterimages started to attack. Roy was hit five times before sliding back.
"Her afterimages attacking..she's faster than I imagined.." Kurai said standing on a building.
Misa was in the closet and held her head. She didn't know why her Mana wasn't recharging. Then it clicked to her, she was still in Spirit Form.. Spirit Form doesn't use Mana..it uses Spirit Energy. She hit her head with her hand.
"I'm so stupid.. my mana probably recharged already..I just have no Spirit Ener-" Misa felt a rush of Spirit Energy. She opened the closet and was met with the face of Queen. Misa closed the closet door. "I'll just wait for Luna.."
Queen swung open the door and grabbed her hair and dragged her along the floor and threw her to the wall. Misa groaned and fell on her knees. She tried to run from Queen but she grabbed her leg and threw her out the window.
"Seems like she found the target...Alright Roy! Wrap up your fight. Go Berserk!" Kurai jumped down the building and walked to Queen.
Roy growled and yelled and his body shined red. He grew in size and muscle. He was like the size of Hulk and he gripped his claymore then slashed down. Luna barely dodged the strike and looked to her right and saw Misa and Queen.
"It's over Misa.." Kurai said.
Misa struggled and panted. She was scared, she let out a scream and Luna grunted and remembered how Luca's child screamed before being killed. Luna yelled and dashed to Queen and punched her in her face, sending Queen crashing through a house. Kurai looked at Luna.
"Get away from her..or else.." Her eyes glowed brightly.
Roy slashed at Luna and roared. Luna was pissed and her spirit aura broke Roy's claymore and pushed everyone back from her and Misa. Misa looked at Luna surprised. Luna looked at Roy and jumped to the sky.
"I am the Hero of the Night! Hear my words! I am the one hero you will never defeat!" She yelled and the moon shined brightly on Luna. "Dark Technique: Moonlit Nightfall!" Luna slashed down and yelled.
Roy got prepared to block the attack. Luna's aura broke into a sparking gold and her eyes shined gold.
"I will protect her with my life! You took everything from me! Now I will take your life!" Luna's whole body was gold.
"Wait this is...Ascension! Roy get out of there!" Kurai yelled.
"There's no escape!" Luna bellowed and slashed through Roy and vanished.
Roy's body lit up and exploded. His body couldn't handle the Ascended Aura. The only thing left from Roy was a hand and his feet.
"She broke past her own limits..." Misa said.
Luna appeared and looked at Kurai. Queen dashed to Luna. Luna slashed up. Queen stopped.
"You're free.." Luna said and turned normal.
Kurai watched Queen's collar fall to the ground. He growled and retreated. Queen fell back and her skin was back to normal. Misa looked at Queen. Her hair was pink, she wore a pink battle dress.
"Misa.." Luna waved her hand, signalling that she wanted Misa to come to her.
"Yeah..?" Misa walked to Luna.
"I want you to forgive Queen..and I want to teach you... Ascension...it is a skill Luca knew but his was Dark Ascension..but you I can feel the light in you..I want to teach it to you..before you battle those heroes.." Luna held her cheeks.
Misa nodded and smiled. Luna smiled back and saw Queen wake up.
"Mmm? Ugh! What am I doing in such a wasteland?!" Queen got up and dusted her clothes off.
"I see you finally woke up?" Luna said.
"Of course I have! Anyway dear Luna..who is that girl you are holding?" Queen asked.
"This is Misa. She's a Dark Lord." Luna said.
"Dark Lord..Misa please hear my words. You can not defeat The Phantom God." Queen said.
"What why?" Misa turned to Queen.
"Because he is able to cancel your Rebirth..and make you mortal..unlike the other Dark Lords, he made you a Dark Lord..so he still has full power and control over your abilities..you are still his puppet..you are just out of range so he can't control you." Queen said.
Misa was silent. She looked up at Luna and Luna nodded.
"How many Dark Lords has he manipulated and killed?" Misa said, coldly.
"50..their bodies are all in capsules..believe it or not..this is a repeat of history...you aren't the first to want to kill them when finding out the truth..he's been draining his Mana for years..he's too powerful to defeat..let alone kill.." Queen said.
"I don't care..he's targeting the Humam Realm..! I can't allow him to destroy it!" Misa looked at Queen determined. "I will end this once and for all! Even if I have to go beyond my limits after reaching full power! Even if it means pushing to Overdrive! I will kill him!"
"Dear Misa.." Queen said then smiled and nodded. "If that's the case then I shall help."
"Me too.." Luna smiled.
"Right! Let's start the training!" Misa smiled.
