Misa, Luna and Queen arrived in an empty battlefield. This was the place Misa recommended they trained and not hold back. Luna adjusted her scarf and smiled.
"So how do you want to battle?" Luna asked.
"You two against me. I want to break my limits. I want to get stronger, I want to become as strong as Kurai!" Misa said. "I have to.."
"Right..as you wish..and by your rules we won't stop until you've Ascended.." Queen said.
Ascension was different from Transcended. Ascension is only breaking limits, Transcended is going beyond those limits. Misa hasn't fully mastered Transcending Aura hence why she's training to use Aecended Aura.
"Alright. I'm ready when you two are!" Misa said and transformed into her Dark Lord form.
Luna and Queen nodded then dashed to Misa. Luna went for the strike with her daggers and Misa dodged then Queen dashed past Misa and summoned her Rapier and slashed. Misa summoned her spear and blocked the attack. Queen looked at Luna. Luna nodded. Queen kicked Misa forward. Luna kicked Misa back to Queen. Misa stopped her self by flapping her wings then dodged Queen's attack.
"Come on Misa. You won't Ascend if you don't attack." Luna said.
"I know..but I was gauging where you two were..now that I know where you two are..I won't hold back..!" Her right eye turned green then she dashed to Luna.
Luna blocked the punch and slid back. Queen parried her strike and slashed. Misa summoned her sword and blocked the slash then dodged Luna. Luna looked at Queen. Queen nodded and got in a stance.
"Blade Arts: 100 Slash Technique." Queen said then dashed to Misa.
Queen slashed multiple times at Misa. Misa either dodged to blocked the slashed. At the 100 strike, Misa roared and her aura pushed Queen back. Luna dashed and vanished. Her after image struck Misa and Luna appeared where the afterimage was. Misa groaned and coughed then was sent flying then crashed to the ground.
"What..was that..?" Misa sat up.
"A little technique called Shadow Strike.." Luna said.
Luna and Queen weren't classified as Elites, Grand, or Legendary..they were Mythical Heroes. Mythical Heroes are the strongest heroes to ever exist.
"There is a counter for Shadow Strike..but only Luca has figured it out.. let's see if you can!" Luna dashed to Misa and vanished.
Luna's afterimage struck Misa again and Luna appeared where the afterimage was and sent Misa flying again. Misa landed on one knee and grunted. Queen dashed to Misa and spun in a circle and slashed, sending a powerful blade beam at Misa. Misa blocked the attack then jumped back and saw Luna missing. Misa slashed before the afterimage reached her and Luna appeared then dodged.
"Ahh I see you found out the secret..?" Luna smirked.
"You're moving so fast it's invisible to the eye, bit your afterimage gives away your location. The afterimage doesn't do damage, but your person does. Once the afterimage reached the opponent it's game over." Misa said.
"Clever..let's see if you can handle this!" Luna got in a stance and vanished.
Multiple afterimages appeared and circled around Misa. Misa looked at the afterimages. She slashed at the third one, but her blade phased through it. The afterimages reached Misa and her blue eye sparked.
"Spirit Rotation!" Misa generated energy and the energy rotated fast and turned into a barrier and blew the afterimages away then Luna was blown away also.
"A defense mechanism.." Luna wiped her mouth.
Queen dashed to Misa and slashed multiple times. Misa clashed with her blade. Queen put one hand behind her back and clashed with Misa. She spun around and kicked Misa away. Misa slid back. She could tell they weren't using 15% of their power. Luna was using at most 35% and Queen hasn't even gotten serious yet.
"Queen don't hold back!" Misa said.
"Are you sure..?" Queen asked.
"Yes..I have to get stronger! No matter what!" Misa said.
"Alright.." Queen vanished and broke the ground.
Misa was shocked and blocked the slash and rolled on her side. Queen vanished and reappeared countless times. It wasn't that she was teleporting, she was moving faster than Misa could comprehend. Queen kicked Misa away and appeared behind her and slashed twice. Misa grunted and was blown back forward. Queen's aura appeared.
"Royal Technique: Holy Slash!" Queen said and her blade glowed gold and she slashed down.
Misa dodged and the blade beam cut the ground and hit a mountain, causing a massive explosion. Misa took a step back. Queen vanished again and slashed quickly. Misa struggled to keep up and clashed with Queen.
"I'm surprised you can block them all! But block this!" Queen said.
Misa saw portals surround her and phantom swords shot out of them one by one. Misa did her best to block and avoid them. Misa saw the barrier of portals get smaller and the blades came out faster. Misa yelled and her aura surged and flashed golden.
"Extreme Discharge!" Misa bellowed and lightning surged powerfully and broke through the portal.
Queen dodged and stumbled backwards. Luna walked up and smiled. Queen looked at Misa.
"Luna..shall we?" Queen asked.
"Yes." Luna smiled.
They both yelled and their auras surged. Their auras then shined golden and their eyes turned old as well. They entered Ascension.
"The real training starts now!" Luna said and dashed to Misa.
"Let's go!" Misa bellowed.
Misa and Luna clashed and entered hand to hand combat. Queen got in a stance and dashed to Misa. Luna jumped back and threw both her daggers at Misa. Misa deflected them and clashed with Queen. Queen overpowered Misa and Misa slid backwards. Luna appeared behind Misa and slashed. Misa summoned her spear and blocked Luna's attack. Both of the heroes were stronger than Misa, but Misa was pushing through.
"I...Will...Not...Lose!" Misa yelled.
Her eyes glowed gold. and her aura turned into light blue. Her hair turned silver as well. Misa yelled and kept up her defense.
Inside Misa's Mind
"What's preventing you from pushing forward Misa..?" A voice said.
"What?" Misa looked around and saw a version of herself.
"What's preventing you from pushing forward? You want to be stronger correct?" The Transcended Misa said.
"I do...but what Queen said earlier..the Phantom God has full control over me... I'm scared of getting too strong..because what if he takes my mind over and forces me to kill my friends and family..?" Misa said.
"You have nothing to worry about...Even if he does manage to take over your mind..you are a Dark Lord now. This is your body, your mind. No one else's. You are you Misa. Look how far you've come and now it's time for you to take that extra step forward.. Reach Beyond! Go further beyond! Reach your unknown limits. Take my hand, we shall reach them, together!" The Transcended Misa said.
"Together.." Misa reached her hand out to her Transcended self.
Back to Reality
Misa's aura slowly broke into gold. Queen and Luna looked surprised. They jumped back and watched Misa's aura surge powerfully. Misa's aura vanished. She opened her eyes and exhaled and smoke came from her mouth then her aura exploded into a pure gold.
"No way.. This isn't Ascension.." Luna said.
"This is Transcended Aura...Legend has said those who has reached Transcended have reached powers of a god..." Queen said.
"She broke through her shell..." Luna smiled happily. "Misa! Show us what you can do now!"
Misa smirked and took one step and appeared in front of Luna and punched her stomach. Luna was shocked and groaned then was blown backwards. Queen was shocked by her speed also. Misa jumped in the air and twirled her spear.
"Judecca..!" Misa said and her spear turned black and she threw it at Queen.
Queen looked at the spear and dodged it last second. Misa landed and summoned her spear back in her hand and then it vanished. Luna stood up. She dashed to Queen.
"Inferno Lightning Strike!" Misa bellowed.
"Royal Guard!" Queen summoned a barrier.
Luna's eyes widened and then the clash caused a large rush of wind to blow. Luna grunted and got into guarding position. Queen grunted and her barrier began to crack. Misa yelled and broke through and before she made contact with Queen, she passed out. Queen caught her and panted.
"What..the hell.." Luna laughed. "That matched the power of Miko.."
"Yeah..I was not expecting that at all.." Queen smiled.
Misa was resting in Queen's arms. She ran out of energy last second and needed to recharge. Queen carried Luna back to the town and Luna followed. They rested in a tiny inn until morning.
