They entered their Mathematics class and made their way to their seats in the back right corner. On the way, Olivia saw Shay, a girl who had in the past, bullied her and she had to pass by her to get to her seat. Shay noticed her immediately and as she passed by, stuck her foot out in an attempt to trip her, but Alessia read the snakes thoughts and stomped down on Shay's foot, as if by accident. "Oops, sorry Shay." She said in a voice that was not in fact sorry. Shay let out a scream, when the pain shot through her foot.
Mrs. Grusto their teacher, snapped her head up to see what was happening. "What's going on back there?" She asked sternly.
Shay, who was busy rubbing her sore foot, replied, "Alessia purposely stepped on my foot!"
Before Alessia could respond Mrs. Grusto did, "Why is your foot in the middle of the isle and not under your desk, Miss Hapner? If you had been sitting properly in your seat, your foot would be fine. Shay didn't respond, but sent a glare Alessia's way.
'Did you have to hurt her Less?' Alex thought. 'Serves the little wretch right, she tried to trip V!' She thought back. Alex couldn't argue with her on that point and seeing as he didn't have a come back, she claimed the victory, with a triumphant smile.

Once the exam was over and the bell rang, they made their way to the physical education portion of their day. The girls headed to their locker room and Alex to the boys. Alessia had a special locker in a gated area, in the back dedicated to the sports teams. While Olivia's was just outside the gate. Alessia had tried to convince her to try out for the volleyball team, but Olivia preferred the less physical extracurricular activities.
They changed quickly into their P. E. attire and headed to the gymnasium.
Mr. Greene, the P.E. Teacher and coach of several of the sports offered at the school, blew his whistle, to get everyone's attention. "Alright ladies and gentlemen," he started in loud voice, "today we are playing an oldie but goodie, dodgeball!" Every boy on the floor hooted with excitement, but the girls began groaning with dismay. Well everyone except the athletic girls. Alessia was ready to punt every guy in the face with a red torpedo.
The prissy girls started their complaints immediately, going on and on about their nails and hair getting messed up. The jocks jumped around high-fiving each other, ready for the show down. Only Alex leaned against the wall behind him as if he didn't care either way.
The coach rolled out the cart of red balls and chose two captains, "Alex and Alessia, you two pick your teammates." He ordered. Alessia chose first, "Via!" She yelled. Olivia walked over and stood beside her best friend. She gave Alex a sorry look and smiled brightly.
'Figures, you know I can protect her better,' he thought to his sister.
'The hell if you can,' she thought back, not bothering to even look at him.
'Language, for God's sake!' He thought.
"Carmichael!" Alex yelled. A big muscular boy with midnight hair, joined Alex, throwing him a high five.
'Figures, you'd choose him,' Alessia thought to her brother.
'Just be glad he is being lent to us,' Alex thought back.
"Mina!" Alessia yelled and a girl matching her own height and build, with dark red hair, pulled up in a pony tail, joined Alessia's team.
'I'm sure this is what HE had in mind, when he lent him." She thought sarcastically.
"Liam!" Alex yelled.
Alessia couldn't help but smile as her sexy lover made his way across the gym, giving her that heart melting smile and a wink of his eye. She shuddered when she thought about this past weekend.
'Give it a rest would ya? We all have to play our part, until the time comes.' He thought back.
'We might as well enjoy our work, before all hell breaks lose.' She replied.
"Rosa!" Alessia called, With a smug look to her brother.
'He shouldn't be here. He's not even trained properly.' Alessia thought replied.
'Are you jealous, sister?' He thought, turning to look her in the eyes.
She laughed out loud at his statement, causing everyone to look at her and wonder what joke they had missed. She quickly gathered herself, 'You wish!' She thought, crossing her arms in-front of her chest.
"Blaze!" Alex yelled.
'Mmmmmhmmm,' he thought.
"Mira!" Alessia called immediately, ignoring his last thought.
They continued calling names, until everyone was divided between the two teams.
The captains gave their respective groups a pep talk and a few pointers to the ones who weren't as physically inclined as the others. Alessia called her team into a circle and spoke, "Alright everyone, I want you to give it your all out there. Let's take these fellas down!"
One girl standing out side the circle chimed in, "It's just a game, why would I put all my energy into something so stupid?" The two standing in front of her stepped to either side, so Alessia could see who had spoken. Olivia noticed it was Shay.
Alessia set her eyes on the immature little speck, "Well you're free to sit out, but I'm sure Mr. Greene will be more than happy to give you a zero for your participation today. Too many zeroes will result in you taking this class again during the summer."
Shay's eyes bulged, "I can't take this class over the summer," she shrieked, "My parents have already booked me a trip to Paris, for my graduation present!" She stated pridefully.
"It would be a shame to have to tell them that you are one credit short to graduate and have to attend summer school, wouldn't it?" she smirked.
Shay glared at her. "You've changed Alessia, you use to hate this stuff too!" She turned and stalked off to the back wall. "For the better!" She yelled after her. "Alright, everyone ready? Take your places." Everyone got into there positions, "Via, you stay behind me. I won't let a single ball get passed." She said proudly.
"You don't have to protect me, Sia. What's the worst that could happen?" She said shaking her head.
"If I don't protect you, who will?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.
Alex had already given his instructions but continued on a silent conversation with his immediate three, Carmichael, Liam, and Blaze. He severed his thought connection with everyone else. 'You three,' he began, 'don't aim a single ball at V, you got me?' She asked sternly.
'We aren't stupid, Alex.' Came Liam's quick reply. Carmichael, who was glad to participate in everything, knew where this was going. 'My master would never forgive such an act against her.' He stated to the others.
Blaze rolled his eyes, 'oh come on, it's just a game. Why all this thou shalt not crap?!' He replied with much irritation.
'It's obvious you don't understand Blaze.' Liam replied.
'I don't think I want to understand, if this is how one acts.' He replied.
'You say that now, but wait til you experience it.' Liam turned and walked away laughing.
'I hope I never do!' Blaze yelled back.
His team took their positions.
The coach laid the balls in the center, 'Ready?' He yelled and blew his whistle.
