Back in France.....
The plane went down two miles north of a small island. Tasha manages to escape just before the plane sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Once she was free she swan to the island. Once she made it to land she passed out.
The island was five miles away from any main land. On that island was a small monastery. The monks who lives in the monastery chose that island to get away from the corruption of the main land.
A group of monks out catching fish found Tasha, once they knew she was alive they took her to one of the smaller buildings in the monastery. They wanted to help more but she was a female and females were not allowed, so they left her there and went back to their fishing.
Soon a young man named Logan who came to the monastery a month before came to check on her. Originally he came to the monastery to become a monk but after seeing the shape Tasha was in he went to see the monk in charge. He knew Tasha needed help and couldn't be left alone so he made a deal with the head monk to let her stay there. He would take care of her and nurse her back to health. Then he would keep her away from the other monks. Once the monk agreed to these terms Logan got the things needed to take care of her.
After Logan collected the supplies he needed he sat down to wait for Tasha to wake up. At first he thought she would wake up that first day, but when the second day came and went he started to get worried. He knew enough basic medicine to know that she wasn't seriously hurt, but he couldn't figure out why she wouldn't wake up.
A week and a half later Tasha finally woke up. At first when she woke up she was scared, at first she thought she was dead but then she felt pain so she knew she was alive. Even though she had no idea where she was she pushed past the panic and started looking for a way to escape. Then Logan entered the room, once he saw she was awake he went over and sat on the edge of the bed. They looked at each other for a minute then Logan said," I'm glad your awake, I was beginning to get worried."
"How long was I asleep? Has anyone come looking for me? Where am I?"
"Calm down, You have been asleep for a week and a half. No, no one has come looking for you.We are on a small island five miles from the main land. You are currently staying in a recovery hut just outside the monastery. Should we be expecting somebody to come looking for you?"
"NO, no I was just wondering, is it possible to get some food? I have not eaten in a while."
"Alright, just give me a minute to get you something. And please do not leave this room okay."
"Why not? Not that I can leave but why am I not supposed to leave?"
"Because your the only female in an all male monastery."
"Oh, okay I will stay right here till you get back."
"Good I will only be gone a minute."
When Logan leaves Tasha looks around then she breathes a sigh of relief. So far no one was looking for her. She was shocked to realize that she actually felt safe. She took a closer look at her room. It was a small room with one window. There was no lock on the door. Only enough room for the bed, a small desk, and two chairs. She thought the place looked great, she wanted to spend the rest of her life here. Then everything comes back to her and she realizes she needs to get back to Amanda and Janet. She knew she needed to find a safe way home.
Just then Logan came in with a tray of food. He sat it on the desk and asked,"Can you move over here or can I help you?"
"Nope I got it."
It took a minute but Tasha made it to the desk. She looked at the food and smiled." Did you think I was starving? I can't eat all of this."
"Come on now it's not all that much. Are you telling me you can't eat a bowl of oatmeal, two apples, a glass of juice, and a few pieces of bacon?"
"Logan I can eat an Apple maybe, but not much else."
"Are you serious? What happened to you?"
Tasha didn't know if she could trust Logan so she just picked up an Apple and started eating it. When Tasha didn't say anything more Logan left the room.
Outside Logan stops and looks at the door he just closed thinking, What has happened to that poor girl? If two apples is more food than she can eat than who knows. Logan then went to the head monk and told him what little he had learned from Tasha. The monk was surprised by what Logan told him. And decided that she needed protection. So as long as she followed the rules then she would be able to stay as long as she needed.
Logan took this news back to Tasha, she was very happy and relieved by the news. But she told him she still needed to leave soon. When she wouldn't say anymore. Logan dropped the subject. Next he told her she could move to one of the rooms inside the monastery. He also told her I would be her guide and keep her out of trouble. Tasha was also told she had to do chores in exchange for her room and food. She agreed to everything and they moved Tasha to her new room.
Since she didn't have anything moving was easy. Logan gave her a robe and showed her around. First of all he showed her that his room was just next door and if she needed anything she just had to knock. Next he took her out to the gardens. She would be helping with the harvest in a few days. Then he showed her where the dining hall and kitchen was. She would have to cook and clean one night a week. She agreed and they went to work. That night in bed Tasha admitted to herself that she liked the place and enjoyed the work.
As Tasha got to know Logan better she found out he was gifted like she was. But his gifts were different from hers. He could heal himself almost instantly and he was also able to do telekinesis. Once she knew she could really trust him they started working together to train their gifts. They would do this everyday after they were done with their chores.
After a month passed Tasha, Logan and a few others went to the mainland. Tasha needed some clothes and they needed supplies. Now since she had been at the monastery Tasha had let her guard down. She was once again at ease with people. She didn't mind people knowing about her. As a matter of fact she told Logan all about her past. After asking permission he told the head monk.
