Leasy
Ever day was the same routine, get up , get ready for school and yeah listen to teachers and try to focus. Does it sound programmed and depressing? well my life is.
I was so lost in my head when the bell went off, two chances either lunch or switch classes since it's to early to go home. "Leasy lets go it's English you know she's cranky." Liam snaps me from my drifting. Liam, Zoey, Grayson and Taylor were my friends. Well Liam and Zoey were my best friends While Taylor hangs out with us because he dates Zoey and Grayson is a younger brother to Liam well more popular brother . They are like twins but some features are different.
Having best friends like them had it's advantages like with Zoey I get to have a bigger sister since I'm an only child and with Liam I get my work done on time and look less single than I actually am.
English went well for once which never happens, oh that's because Mrs Cornells was grading the grade 10's work or something I was paying much attention to what she said earlier. Zoey kept talking to me and multitasking with her phone and text book, I honestly think she is one of the few females with ADHD. Needless to say I love her so it's better that way.
The first half of our schooling day was boring and a drag but it was finally lunch. My mom had packed my lunch. It was one of those very very rare days. The lunch was simple with homemade pizza, a yoghurt and grape juice. Everything was normal until the room went silent and misty.
I felt a hand on my back and felt someone sniffing on my neck. "She smells normal amoungst these other people..."a goth looking girl said to the gothic boy she was with. They look like they where ten year olds and too young for high school. I didn't know what was happening so I said the only sane thing anyone would say, "Um Hi I'm Leasy... What are your names?".
After a long and honestly uncomfortable period of time the boy replied," Adrian and that's leshanna". "I think Lennon will like her don't u think?" Leshanna said in whisper. "She would most like be a Leydon kind of girl she seems to be the only sane person here" Adrian argued as the girl just nodded to my confusion.
They left in a flash and everything went back to normal except for my sanity. I was still puzzled as I kept looking for where they went and what had just happened mostly. "Leasy what's up are u ok ?" The voice brought me back to reality "Where did they go?" I asked Liam and he just laughed "who". The whole group looked at me." Sweety are you ok you don't look so good either."Zoey asked with concern all over her face.
"Yea I'm cool" I said but I wasn't really ok. The bell went off again as I finished my lunch. "I guess I'll see you guys after Chemisry and physics...well after school ok?" I told them as I gave Zoey and Liam a hug and left them to go to physics class.
"Welcome class settle down please. Today we have two new students joining us for rest of the year. This is Lennon and Leydon Damins" Mr Kortaz introduced them. The whole class looked at them to me they looked familiar. He cleared his throat and looked at me,"Miss Brown please show them around The school if that's ok" he said to me. Well how could I say no and sound rebellious , he knew I was a good student and used it to his advantage.
"Sure" I just replied him annoyed. The two boys set besides me in the back. "For your first project this term you will work in the topic Snell's law and reflection. You will conduct a research and bring evidence and a good presentation. When I call your names a group a member should come up and collect your instructions and method page."He said as most students groaned in annoyance.
"Group one Fefe,Riley and Maney. Group two Leasy,
Leydon and Lennon. Group three Ciara, Courtney and Sheara..."he kept calling out but I honestly stopped listening when I heard my name I was already bored. I stood up and collected the page it had Diamon written in bold which caught my eye.
I just went back I turned my seat before I could complain. I went back to my seat and turned so I can face them." I guess we in the same group ... nice". The boy with deadlocks said in a sacarstictone. "Well I'm Leasy and we are team diamond " I told them as I showed them the page,"Cool. Girls like diamonds. I'm Leydon call me Don and thats Lennon" the one with long hair said with a cute smile.
"Students I want to see teamwork in your presentation meaning everyone says something and remember this I your term mark". He said as if directly to me. People grouped up and started discussing their In thier groups. "So are you guy twins?" I asked. Only because I had I to break the ice."Sort of, we have a eighteen months difference-" Lennon cut himself off and cleared his throat. " She doesn't need to know everything about us does she?" Lennon whispred to his brother annoyed. The bell went off and I honestly happy until I remembered I had to show them around.
"So princess which class do you have next?" Leydon mocked with knowing smirk."I gotta go to chemistry replied in a dull tone. Something just changed all of a sudden."I can show you guys to your class, which class do you have?" I asked cheerly tone. He gave me his time table and I went through it. It look exactly like mine meaning we'd have the exact same classes every day... yey note the sarcasm
On our way to chemistry my eyes just kept saying skip this so we can go home tell them you're sick or something they'll understand...
Getting in the lab we took our sits with them being close to me obviously.
Ms Clicks entered the class room from her office, yes she's that much ok a nerd. She had these big thick glasses that looked a little too big for her small face. "Okay enough noise chemistry is for intelligent minds and we know smart minds are quite minds."She said shushing us up.
If she didn't teach chemistry you'dmistake her for an English teacher with her quotes and phases of which have zero relevance to chemistry. "As you know it's assignment week and no one likes this even us makers it's stressful because most work is obviously depressing, but hopefully people matured this year yes?Remembering that is your final year and higher level institutions are lookin for good scores so less jokes more seriousness."
For a nerd Ms Clicks talks a lot but she's fun when it's time to be her lessons are way better than most lessons I have. " Get into groups of a minimum of three and maximum of four please. Write down your names and send 'em to me. Your task is based on organic chemistry and instructions are on the pages on the tables. Each member has to write down the groups findings it's better that way so everyone writes something. Now mingle and make new friends. Boys do u have a group?" She's said looking at the new boys.
"Yes it's us and leasy I believe three is a group?"he replied her with a charming smile while looking at me. Was I annoyed ?
yes very much. Now I have two tasks with them."Nice pick she's smart, oh and Leasy please see me after class ok." She said not even once looking up from her table.
"Assignments are to be handed in next week Friday since it's Friday today that a week basically. Everyone is free to use the lab just ask first for the keys."she said in a sweet tone trying misrably to hide the anger in her voice from what ever she was reading. It
must have been very bad.
"You were able to rope me into two assignments with you well played" I shaking Leydon's hand . "Is it just a coincidence your luck",Lennon said with smirk. I personally believe that he knows he annoys me." Definitely my luck" that sentence was dripin was dripping with sacarsm for once it felt good.
The bell went off and it was go home time right on que to save me from the two. I packed my bag and got ready to leave but I remembered I had to talk with Ms Clicks. I wondered what it was about mostly. Since it's wasn't school anymore I checked my phone for massages, one from mom, one from Zoey. and one from Liam.
My love we had to leave for France we left you money in your card. We'll call when we land ok'

I was already so disappointed I couldn't even reply the massages. I just watched as the last people left the class ."looks like you need a ride home?" One of the boys said snapping from my trace I'm doing this alot huh. " Um... Sure if u don't mind." I said sounding a little too innocent for my own liking.
Wait how did he know I needed a ride? was he seriously reading my massages ? not cool. "Now that everyone has left I wanted to ask as favour from main office if you could share notes and tutor these boys from last year's and this year's work, in return you will not only get extra credit and a good recommendation but be one the student the school funds a bursary I mean you already were by it gets better. What do you say?" She asked me.
I felt like a packaged anyone would want and the cost was do-able. "Yea sure I'm in. How does this work?" I looked at her with one eyebrow raise. "Well you'll do your own planing but they have to keep a 70%+ mark on their results however. It shouldn't be hard they are smart just international exchange students, thier curriculum differs a little from ours" She said. "Oh ok" I simply said."Boys?"she looked at them."Sure should be nice " they both replied in unison which scared me.
After she released us. We went to their car well it's Lennon's car they take turns driving their cars or something. They left me by the corner not so far from my home. I am not comfortable with people knowing where in live honestly the world ain't safe...
