Leasy
Dinner went well. Liam seemed to like the twins and they got along very well. Which is a good sign. Something was different about Lennon now than when I met him. But it was a good different a kind sideto him that was kinda nice.
We were all tucked in and about to watch a movie. The boys had sleeping bags and I was on the couch. I had many sleeping bags, my parents bought me a new one everytime our school had camp."The bye bye man or Finders keepers?" I asked them while opening once of the chocolate bars. "Finders keepers I haven't seen it... Is it interesting, I'm a movie critic" Leydon replied.
"I'm game eihter way honestly." Liam shrugged. "What the hostess's choice" Lennon said while looking at me with a comforting smile. That smile make my heart warm. "I ah-ah would pick umm finders keepers" I shuttered. I never stutter ever.
He seemed to notice what he did to me and his smile turned into a smirk. "Ok Finder keepers it is." Liam said selecting it and played it. Everything went well. Everyone was enjoying the movie and the whole scenery was just so inviting. I wouldn't mind having this everyday since I'd be home alone.
I hated being home alone. My parents knew that but they couldn't risk my attendance or keep me in different schools every time they had work. Or a meeting at a different place.
"This doll is just creepy" Liam whispered. "Yes lil is very creepy" I agreed with him. Halfway through the movie Leydon paused it. " Ey where your bathroom". Making everyone complain. "Upstairs second door to the right." I replied him.
"No one play the movie that ain't fair."He said eyeing everyone slowing before going up the stairs. "Oh well I might as well ask, Are you guys twins or something?"Liam asked Lennon and for a moment I thought he would answer with some long explanation about how they had a big difference but somehow looked like twins. But all he replied was a yep.
"I thought you said you said you guys had an eighteen months difference." I asked him confused. "Yea I had meant to say to hours not months figured you were already thinking I'm rude when I had answered so I just left it there I'm sorry." He apologized. I knew it ,well its obvious really beside him having dreadlocks and sandy brown eyes. His brother had long long silky black hair and, wine coloured eyes.
They basically like the same person in terms of height and physical features but thier behaviors obviously differed since leydon seemed to be the nice and more talkative one while Lennon was the more reserved and quiet on. Id say less nicer but after his appearance a few ago i can cancel that.
" I'm back, yall miss me". Leydon asked looking for any takers. We all just looked away and then everyone laughed at him." You are not a fun crowd" he whined and played the movie. The movie gets creepier every minute, Lennon sat up and with his back leaning towards the couche. His head not so far from me but close enough for my reach.
I ran my hand through his dreadlocks. I was still focused on the movie. I felt him flinch a bit before he moved his head closer to my hand. I continued as it calmed me down. I felt like this moment had been going on forever and was craving ice cream.
I stopped touching his hair and looked at me. He's face made me feel guilt for leaving him. I went for tje fridge and took out my gift from Liam. I took a bowl and filled it with ice cream then broke the Oreo cookies chocolate cubes and just sprinked on top. I took one spoon and left the kitchen.
The boys seemed to notice my masterpiece." Aint that a little cold" Leydon asked. I replied with a simple answer "Nope". Liam didn't say a word. Firstly because I honestly would wake up at midnight and get ice cream, and two because i normal never share my ice creams.
" Can you please share?" Lennon asked he was giving me the puppy eyes. "Good luck brother that never happens" Liam said laughing. "Hey don't make me look bad I do share my ice cream... sometimes" i whined whispering the last part.
"Yea right" he said laughing.
"I can share lee" I said I to lennon mostly because i wanted to prove Liam wrong but also because lennon was nice to me it felt ok. He smiled and stood up to get a spoon. He came back and placed his head on my lap while we ate the ice cream. Soon after the the movie eneded so did my ice cream.
Liam's phone lit up. As he checked th massage the atmosphere around him changed as it tensed up." You ok Liam?" I looked at him worried. "Grayson is trouble I have to go and him from somewhere near Taylor's house." He replied shaking his head and went into the kitchen ready to leave.
I followed him "Can I come with you?" I asked him as looked into his eyes. Grayson always rarely called Liam when the party was over he normally called a cab." No you stay hear something about this ain't right. You'll be safe here with them ok. I honestly trust them.I told your parents you'llbe safe I can't risk that for my little brother's stupidity besides I'll come check up on you in the morning" he replied. He hugged me tight and gave me a kiss on rhe forehaed, then grabbed his car keys and left.
I locked the door and went back to the twins. "Wheres Liam?" Leydon asked after a some minutes. "He left... He's brother got in some kind of trouble or something at Taylors party so he had to go get him." I said with pure disappointment. If the twins weren't here id be left alone. " Don't worry Lea will keep you safe and sane ok? Well mostly me but yea" Leanon said .I smiled and nodded.
The boys were asleep when I woke up from my one hour nap. Yes it was literally one hour. This was the other reason why Liam always visited when my parents were not home. I have a bad case of insomnia, he got me though. He would stay up with me and we'd watch T.v. until i fell asleep if I did. Saying made me realize in so much work as a friend, Liam had a nightmare problem though so it is a win win.
"Hey are you awake..." Leanon whispered at me, the T.v. was the only source of light in the room."Yeah...I am sorry if I woke you up I can't sleep". I was feeling guilty for waking him up since I was tossingand turning the couch not finding sleep. " Its ok really... I can't sleep either... I can keep you company... If you want me to that is." The last part was said in a low toned voice.
"I'd like that actually" I smiled at him. He smiled back at me. "Whachu normally do when you can't sleep?" He asked me while having a curious facial expression as if he was a six year old. "I just continue with my series on my laptop with my earphones if my parents are home. Or have a call with Liam if he's not with me-" he cut me off. "Does he come over a lot?" He asked me as if he was hurt or angry I couldn't tell.
"Ummm yea. My parents home when theywere going on business trips when I was younger. They know he comes over when they not home. I hate being home alone... Whyyy?" I asked him since I saw his face looking hurt and he looked away. " Oh ok " was all he said. That was all he said to break my heart.
I placed my hands on the sides of his face and made him face me in the eyes. "They would like you too, any one close to their daughter's heart is close to theirs. And you also gonna have sleepovers too anyway" I said to him honestly. He gave me a cute smile. " Really?... I'd like that. Wait I didn't ask but where are your parents anyway?" He asked me.
"They are on a month long project so I'm home alone for month, I'm used to it anyways." I replied him as if it didn't hurt me. Truth is it actually did a lot. I was basically raised by the Haynes Liam's family. I wished they would work in Middlemist instead so I could get closer to them or alteast have a younger sibling, it gets a little lonely being alone all the time.
"I'm sorry Lea... We should cheer you up... Oh umm Do you have Netflix?" I simply nodded my head at him. "Good let's watch You, it's a series, it is really awesome." He said with a mischievous smile. " That's my favorite series!... Well second favorite I love it so much." I squealed with pure excitement.
Of all the series I like in the romance section categorized by my head the series You takes the medal. Mostly because I'm a sucker for stalker stories. I got off the couch to go to my room." Where are you going?" He asked me narrowing his eyes. "To get my earphones, he's sleeping peacefully I don't wanna wake him. He looks really cute that way." I said to him pointing at his twin brother." I can look better than that in my sleep he grumbled and I chuckled.
I went to my room and I looked for my ear phones. I found them on my nightstand and took my laptop as well. Then it hit me I may have made a friend who can stay up with me when Liam is not around, mostly at soccer camp. Yes in our region it's a thing. Their honestly stupid camp is for sport competitions and Liam is a soccer player so he attends. Their camps are every term. Either that or me being at a top achievers camp. It's awful, there's poor internet and more school work. I already hate normal school work.
"Ok here we go" I set up my laptop and grabbed the pack of chips close to me. I gave Leanon my laptop since he was on the floor. He connected the earphones and gave me one as he place the laptop on his laps. I placed my head in a pillow on top of the arm of the couch. He rested his head just close to my reach. I could help but look at his dreadlocks and wish to run my fingers in between them like before.
"Go ahead" I said to me after sometime. I like wise pretending not to know what he talking about said "Huh what are you talking about." He chuckled a little at my fake response." I know you want to touch my hair. Go ahead I don't mind, I actually enjoyed that earlier." Thanking the dim light of the Tv making the room not so bright. This made him not to see me blush. I did like he allowed, I ended up falling asleep at around 4 am. Truth be told I had no regrets for inviting them...
