After that day, Amanda received the movie's script and information. She started reading and studying the film for a whole week before the script reading. She locks herself in the library every day to practice her role. She would only come out when she is hungry. This is her last day of practicing her role because tomorrow is the day that she will meet the other casts and the producers.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Amanda shouted at the air. Her voice is loud and angry. She didn't care whether her voice was heard outside, she just wanted to deliver her role nice and perfect.
"Damn Amanda! You have been yelling like you're the only person in this house!" Kristen barged in and shouted. Amanda was found standing behind the table with two hands on the table. She looked like an angry CEO and was scolding some of her employees.
"Kristen! What are you doing here?!" Amanda hurriedly said and fixed herself. From the raging Amanda to the soft and careful girl she transitioned.
"Well, I just got here and I've been hearing your voice from the living room! Fortunately mom and dad are out of town so you've got the house to all yourself!" Kristen complained.
Ever since Kristen started his company, his parents bought him an apartment because the house is far from the company. So Kristen seldom returned home.
"I am so sorry! I thought the library was soundproof so I gave my best to deliver the script," she looked down, "I'm so sorry Kristen."
"It's okay Amanda. It's just that you startled the maids and now they think you are sick or something"
"Oh no! I must apologize!" Amanda said. Kristen just laughed and went to Amanda and messed up her hair.
"I've already apologized to them and gladly they understood. Anyways, I came here to accompany you to your apartment 'cause the interior is done!" Kristen announced happily.
Amanda's apartment was said to be one of the richest. What she didn't know was that Kristen actually bought it and not Ms. Anne. Kristen was always in touch with Ms. Anne because he wanted to take care of Amanda so much. But sadly, his efforts was not acknowleged.
"Oh really? I'll just get ready and we'll go!" Amanda fixed her stuffs and skipped outside the library.
Kristen chuckled and whispered, "So childish".
A few minutes later Amanda was ready and they left for the apartment. It was a peaceful ride into the apartment. Minutes later an they've arrived the apartment's basement to park. They got out and rode the elevator. Kristen pressed the floor 36.
"What does the apartment looked like Kristen?" Amanda asked. She just saw the plain walls and floor and never got to see it again. So it is like the first time that she is going to see the apartment again.
Ting!
The elevator opened and showed them two doors. The apartment floors only have 2 doors each because it is an exclusive apartment and it is very expensive.
"So which one again here is my room? Is it 360?" Amanda asked.
"No silly. It is 3602! But first I'll cover your eyes", Kristen said and covered Amanda's eyes.
"Oooh this is exciting!"
They walked slowly going to the room and stopped at the door. Kristen punched in the codes and it opened.
"So, when I said one I'll take my hand of your eyes. Okay. So in, Three, two, one!"
Kristen removed his hands and Amanda opened her eyes. She was welcomed by a cozy apartment. It is so modern but not so feminine. Amanda was mesmerized by it that she cannot speak.
"There are two rooms in here. The one in the right is the master's bedroom, which is yours, and the one in the left is your studio. You can practice some lines in there. Some of your clothes are in your room and the clothes at the house will be brought here tomorrow ".
"Thank you so much Kristen. Eat here. I'll cook for us".
"Oh, I don't think so. You see I have to do something at the company", Kristen started off, scratching his head, "But I'll be honored to eat your food at some other day".
"Oh, okay. Just let me know when you'll be free".
"Yeah, I'll go now. Bye!"
"Yeah, Bye!" Amanda said and waved. Kristen waved back and closed the door.
Amanda roamed inside of the apartment and after that she started cooking. It is just a simple dinner. After dinner, she cleaned up and slept. Luckily, her nightmare did not attacked so she slept comfortably.
Morning came and she woke up before her alarm rang off. She is excited for the script reading. She wore her best casual wear, cause that is what Haley told her, and fixed her hair. She already had breakfast and in short, she is ready to go. While waiting for Haley to pick her up, she starts reviewing the script again.
Beep! Beep!
[ incoming message ]
[ From: Haley
Hey Amanda! We are almost there. I hope you can wait for us downstairs because Ms. Yula wants us to be early. Thanks! ]
After reading the message, Amanda decided to go down and wait for them. She thinks that Ms. Yula wants them to be early to make a good impression to the producers. Amanda fixed herself and went out. She got down in time because the van as already there. She opened the door and greeted Ms. Yula who is busy talking to the phone.
She sat down where Haley was in and greeted her.
"Goodmorning Haley"
"Morning! OMG! I still cannot belive that I'm going to meet the "Great" Tyrone Gao!" Haley squealed.
Amanda knew the her co-actor is Tyrone Gao but she didn't know that he's super famous.
"Is he really that famous?" Amanda asked. Haley stopped squealing and looked at her seriously.
"You really don't know who's Tyrone Gao? Is he not famous in the US?" Haley asked.
"Well, I have seen him on a talkshow but it was only once".
"OMG! I have to brief you about your co-actors!" Haley said and start telling Amanda the information of her co-actors throughout the whole ride.
