- Poseidon uses his trident to create a hydra out of the arena's water. Lucifer is pushed mentally and physically and decides to ignite his blue fire. After seeing the crowd's surprise, Lucifer decides to do something dangerous and shouts "YOU'RE NOT WORTH IT!" and changes his blue fire back to orange-red, enraging Zeus and Poseidon.

Chapter 107: Water and Fire (2)

- Peter asks Death if he thinks Lucifer will be okay and reminds Death that the two things Lucifer hates the most are betrayal, and being made a spectacle of. Death decides to call Zeus. Death after hearing cheering, asks Zeus how many beings are in the coliseum. Zeus tells Death that the coliseum is full, which causes Death to release an unnerving aura.

- Zeus tries to lie to Death about the reason for the coliseum being full. Death doesn't believe Zeus and threatens Zeus to show respect to Lucifer after the match is over.

- Lucifer is putting up a good fight against Poseidon, despite not using his blue fire. Lucifer's attempts to grow the spectacle of the match leads to a sinister expression on Poseidon's face. Lucifer can tell how dangerous the look on Poseidon's face is but decides to keep pushing things.

- Lucifer and Poseidon exchange hits in close quarters. Poseidon loses consciousness for a second and does something that alerts the announcer (Eros) to fly over to Zeus in an attempt to have the match stopped.

Chapter 107: Water and Fire (3)

- Lucifer knows what Poseidon is setting up and goes against his instinct to just surrender, instead opting to continue putting on a show for the crowd.

- Poseidon sends a dangerous barrage of water needles at Lucifer. Lucifer commits to not using his blue flame, despite how dangerous the situation is. The crowd is unaware of the danger and continues cheering louder and louder.

- Lucifer makes a mistake, giving Poseidon a massive advantage. The crowd notices Eros isn't casting the match. Eros is pleading with Zeus to stop the match. Poseidon summons eight water hydras that shoot more water needles out of their mouths, matching Poseidon's attack from before. Lucifer remembers words he was told a long time ago, ''You will always be my greatest, most consistent mistake.''

- Lucifer doubles down on the situation and calls Poseidon pathetic using flames to spell out the words. Lucifer flies to the center of the arena and prepares to defend himself. Lucifer is slowly ripped apart by Poseidon's attack but not killed. The crowd starts to question what Poseidon is doing. Eros announces Poseidon as the winner in an attempt to get Poseidon to stop.

- Lucifer hears Eros and uses the distraction to let out his blue fire to protect himself. Poseidon doesn't stop his attack. The crowd hears the announcement and switches from cheering to quietly questioning the situation.

- Zeus fires a lightning bolt into the sky to signal Poseidon to stop. Poseidon finally stops. Lucifer falls to the ground with a bloody thud. Lucifer shouts in his head to stand up. The crowd is horrified by Lucifer's damage. Lucifer barely manages to stand, much to the crowd's surprise. Eros apologizes to Lucifer. Lucifer calls Poseidon a monster.

Chapter 109: After Party (1)

- Lucifer's damage surprises the coliseum's healers. Lucifer flinches when having his mouth healed and says it's only because he hasn't had that part healed in a while. Lucifer tells the healers to go full speed. The crowd is fascinated by Lucifer's ability to tolerate the pain of his damage being healed at full speed.

- Lucifer lies about having been in worse shape before. Poseidon calls him out on the lie and Lucifer replies "You ever fight my father or Death before? Maybe if you did you would know that it isn't that hard to believe."

- Lucifer and Poseidon exchange insults. Eros asks Lucifer to stop; Lucifer ignores Eros and asks the healers their names. Poseidon gets even angrier with Lucifer but is interrupted by Zeus arriving. Zeus tells Poseidon to go to the banquet hall, and Poseidon agrees. Zeus asks Lucifer not to tell Death about what happened.

- Zeus tries to convince Lucifer not to tell Death about what happened. Lucifer asks "If this situation was reversed; if I was the one about to kill your brother, what would you have done?" to which Zeus is honest, and says he would have shot Lucifer. Lucifer asks if the shot would be to kill or to stop, and Zeus is honest again and says he doesn't know. Zeus' honesty leads to Lucifer agreeing not to tell Death.

- Zeus asks Lucifer if he noticed a small grin on Poseidon's face. Lucifer says he did. Zeus says that if he had seen that grin he would have stepped in sooner. Lucifer doesn't bother asking more and flies away to the banquet hall.

- Lucifer calls Peter and gives Peter a signal to stay out of the rest of the group's earshot. Lucifer had set up a warning signal with Peter in the event that he didn't call after a certain time. Lucifer tells Peter the truth about the match and asks Peter not to tell Death. Peter agrees.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Chapter 110: After Party (2)

- Lucifer arrives at the banquet hall. The other beings at the banquet are standoffish with Lucifer. Eros greets Lucifer casually. Lucifer notes that Eros always was good at pretending as if nothing happened. Eros asks about a relationship between Lucifer and a valkyrie.

- Lucifer does a shot of his drink and winces slightly at the burn of the drink, prompting the bartender to ask if he can feel pain. Lucifer says that he can and asks who says he can't. Lucifer reveals that his relationship with the valkyrie was over the last time he spoke with Eros.

- Eros reveals that Lucifer's relationship with the valkyrie is so interesting because Lucifer's father and Odin had conflict with each other. Lucifer says that the conflict was nothing more than stone-throwing. The nymph serving Lucifer food seems to be afraid of him. Eros implies it's because of Lucifer's eyes and that if Lucifer did something about them he might have more luck with love.

- Lucifer states that he doesn't date humans or demons. Eros asks if there's anything going on between Lucifer and Yvere. Lucifer insists that there isn't. Eros asks about Mira, and Lucifer says Eros misinterpreted contempt for love. Lucifer calls Eros "Cupid" drawing attention from the other beings in the banquet hall.

- Lucifer asks where Poseidon is and Eros says that he left early. Lucifer says he's going to thank Zeus for the hospitality and then leave. Eros asks Lucifer to stay longer and comments that the territory doesn't get many visitors anymore. Lucifer says there's a reason for that before being cut off by Zeus.

- Zeus shows fake respect toward Lucifer and asks Lucifer to regale him and some others with stories of the Demon war. Lucifer obliges, despite desperately not wanting to.

- Death is greeted by an overjoyed Cerberus. Elijah comments that he thought Death was terrible with animals. Peter says that Death is terrible with normal animals but that Cerberus loves Death because of Death's "presence" and that he doesn't know much more about it.

- Ash and Kahvis are discussing Ash's next move. Ash is going after the god Tonatiuh. Ash is casual about the circumstances while Kahvis is stern. Kahvis asks Ash if she knows what it's like to be weak. Ash says that she doesn't. Kahvis urges Ash to understand that the weak rely on beings like Ash and them to make the right choices. Kahvis states that not every being has the luxury of being strong enough to protect themselves

- Ash responds: "That's their fault. Some might laud you for your belief in noblesse oblige but I think it misses the point of existence. You can't be an eternal protector for the weak like you want. Some day, however long it takes, you will find yourself too tired to constantly protect the weak and will wish that they had the strength to protect themselves."

- Kahvis insists that they aren't trying to be an eternal protector of the weak. Ash warns Kahvis not to step on a "Martyr's landmine". Kahvis says "A what?" and Ash responds "Nevermind"

Chapter 111: Telling His Side

- Zeus is going around ordering other beings to join him and Lucifer at a table. Zeus orders these being to pretend to be interested in whatever Lucifer has to say. Zeus is doing this in an attempt to make up to Lucifer for what happened in the match. It's revealed that the word "War" was hardly ever brought up in Olympus anymore

- Lucifer is at a large table with Eros and Zeus talking about the Demon War. Everyone at the table, except for Zeus, is enthralled by Lucifer's story. Lucifer reveals that void metal is an alloy and that the black armor that the demons wore in the Demon War is actually a metal called "almyric".

- A being at the table asks Lucifer if his blue fire is the same as Hades. Lucifer says that the flame is just hotter, nothing more. Lucifer suddenly questions the nature of his blue fire. Lucifer continues to wonder about his blue fire while telling his story. The beings at the table continue to show enthusiasm toward Lucifer's story

- Lucifer and the rest of his team go to a private room to discuss the match with Poseidon. Peter mocks Lucifer's control of the situation and asks "Where does it rank?" Yvere reveals that Lucifer keeps ranks on the most damage he's taken before being healed.

- Dimitri makes a joke about Heinrich being a former nazi and Peter hits Dimitri. Dimitri apologizes. Sabu gets defensive of Heinrich. Peter whistles loudly to refocus the group. Lucifer reveals that the damage he took would probably rank first, causing Yvere and Lao to exclaim "WHAT?!

- Yvere and Lao are irate with Lucifer. Lucifer's casual attitude leads to Yvere slamming her fists into a table. Yvere says "I'd heal you a thousand times over during your training because that serves a purpose, but THIS, THIS is the kind of petty shit you would complain about the upper ranks doing. If you cared so fucking much about ruining the show, why didn't you just try to win?!"

- Lucifer doesn't immediately respond to Yvere's question. The group realizes that Lucifer doesn't think he could have won against Poseidon. Persephone bursts into the room and asks if anyone's hungry

- Lucifer is in the kitchen with Persephone asking her not to tell Death. Persephone says that she has no plans on doing so. Persephone shows sincere care toward Lucifer before bringing up that Poseidon has been acting weird lately. Lucifer stops himself from asking about Poseidon

- Hades and Persephone are continuing to show genuine kindness to the group. It's revealed that Death sometimes sells human-made recipes to the Underworld.

- Death asks Lucifer about the match. Lucifer lies with ease but mentions that Poseidon left the after-party early, prompting Death to loudly ask why. Lucifer dodges the question easily.

- Persephone asks Dimitri about his painting and brings up how painting is supposed to be good training for beings with a water affinity. The sight of Death pouring hot soup into his mouth causes Lucifer to make a sour expression. Death asks what's wrong and Lucifer lies, saying that he was reminded of the last time he burnt his mouth in training. This leads to Lucifer having to create multiple lies in response

- Lucifer realizes the lies are slowly alerting Death, so he shifts the subject by challenging Hades to a duel. Death asks about Lucifer's former teacher (Ash) but calls her "Ember". Lucifer says that he hasn't seen her since their training. Lucifer reveals that his teacher told him not to look for her unless he was planning on having a match with her. Persephone and Hades think this is a joke, but it isn't.

- (In the future) Ash is in a burning forest filled with corpses, asking about Tonatiuh. Ash walks through the destruction, humming 'Oy polnym polna moya korobushka...'

Chapter 115: Endless Questions (1)

- Hades asks Lucifer about the blue fire while the two are alone in the arena. Lucifer says he doesn't know much about it. Hades asks if "That" is causing it. Lucifer conjures a key and remembers that the day his blue flames appeared he was questioning why his eyes had turned red. Lucifer reveals to Hades that a lot of the images humans in the human world have about him are wrong but that his eyes seem to stand out as an unsurprising feature to humans

- Hades says that most native Otherworld beings would probably think Lucifer is part vampire. Lucifer notes that he hasn't noticed any connection between his questioning his eyes and his fire's abilities. Lucifer brings up the fact that humans incorrectly believe he had a different name when he was an angel. Lucifer goes to say the name but doubles over from pain in his left eye.

- Lucifer's left eye had changed to have a secondary barbed ring of orange in the iris, with the pupil also turning razor sharp. The pain causes Lucifer to rip the eye out. The eye's changed look and Lucifer's pain disappears after Lucifer rips the eye out. Lucifer shouts the name he was going to say before but nothing happens

- The group is surprised when Lucifer appears with a missing eye. Lucifer tells the group what happened and says that Death is the only one who might know if it's related to being a warden of Hell. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Chapter 116: Endless Questions (2)

- Lucifer asks Death what he knows. Death says Lucifer's warden key might be demonizing him. Lucifer tells Death he knows that can't be it. Lucifer states that demonization doesn't make sense given what Hell's demons look like. Death reveals that owning a warden's key and being able to enter the prisoner's illusions in Hell are irrespective of each other.

- Death brings up something called the "Chaos connection", causing Lucifer to get mad. Lucifer is frustrated that Death is bringing it up since in the past when Lucifer has tried to talk about it with Death, Death has handwaved the topic.

- Death says it might have something to do with the "Seventh Day Theory" to which Peter responds "Not this shit again...". Death goes on to say that the key might be changing Lucifer into what humans think Lucifer should look like and that he has seen something similar to what's happening once before. Lucifer frantically asks who, to which Death responds "Me"

- Lucifer questions Death. Death conjures his scythe and reveals that one day he suddenly had the ability to create the scythe. Lucifer partly believes Death but can't help feeling like something is off. Death insists that he's never seen this happening to the other gods. Lucifer says that Death's reasons for not wanting to bring this up make sense but questions why Death was just now telling him about the scythe's history

- Death says he didn't want to give Lucifer false hope. Lucifer says that one similarity Death has with Peter to which Peter replies "There's nothin' wrong with not wantin' to spend time searchin' for pointless answers.". Lucifer leaves the room dejected.

- It's revealed that Satan has a severely strict rule about the knowledge of the warden's key. It's revealed that Lucifer was once obsessed with the Seventh Day Theory and that Peter snapped him out of that obsession. Death asks Peter if he's worried. Peter responds that so long as Lucifer stays the same mentally, the demonization doesn't matter

- Hades asks Death not to bring up the things that Death and Lucifer were talking about again. Death promises but says he can't be sure about Lucifer. Hades mentions that his part of the world isn't like Hell and that the "world law" restricting discussions like the one between Death and Lucifer is taken more seriously.

- Peter questions the seriousness of the topic that was discussed causing Death and Hades to give him a warning look. Peter is openly annoyed. Hades asks Death what's going on with Peter, Death says it's complicated, and Peter replies that it isn't.

- (In the future) Ash is searching through a destroyed village when she's approached by a severely injured woman. More beings, as damaged as the woman, appear. All the injured beings are humans. It's revealed that the territory Ash is in prefers to capture humans.

- (In the future) One woman decides to join Ash. Ash hums the same song she did before. The woman following her asks what it is. Ash tells the woman it's a Russian folksong and discovers that the woman following her is a "Natural-born" human that doesn't know much about the human world.
