Chapter 95: A New Journey

- Years have passed since the demon war. Elijah is currently being trained by Satan.

- Yamato asks Kahvis if there's been any movement from Huitzil. Kahvis states that there hasn't been any and that the resistance can't move until there is. Yamato worries that the rest of the resistance isn't as patient as the two of them.

- A tall woman with dark brown skin and glowing orange eyes asks Kahvis if she can join the resistance. The woman says her "current" name is Ash. Kahvis tries to figure out who Ash is and realizes she's an unknown. Ash responds by saying "I think the term 'forgotten' would be more accurate."

- Death asks Satan where the book is. Satan says he doesn't know. Death believes Satan and asks him what the "code" is. Satan flippantly tells Death that the item is in Olympus. Death asks Satan if he moved the item, to which Satan responds "I would never need such a thing. If I wanted to spite you there are better ways to do such."

- Death reveals he wants to give Kahvis "Indirect help" to which Satan mocks the use of the word "Indirect."

- Sabu and Heinrich are training. Sabu mentions that his lack of holding back is due to his former training with Lao.

- Lucifer, Satan, and Death are on top of one of Hell's walls. Lucifer asks if there's something in Olympus and comments that Death is bad at lying, causing Satan to laugh. Satan says there's an item in Tartarus that contain a small amount of his magic. Lucifer asks which magic to which Death reassures it isn't blight.

- Lucifer asks Death if that's it. Death assures that it is. Lucifer doesn't believe Death but doesn't press the issue further. Satan is elated by Lucifer's doubt.

- Satan mocks Death. Death threatens Satan by saying if the items aren't in Olympus it's on Satan. Satan stands his ground against Death and says "Break my horns, push your blade to my throat, do whatever you want, but until the day I feel that same anger in you again, I. Won't. Fear you."

- Death asks Satan "No corpses this time?" which causes Satan to bend over with laughter while flying. Satan stops laughing and says "I'm so glad you two have rubbed off on each other! Your strength and his words!"

- Death responds by saying "Never forget that your magic works on me because I allow it to." to which Satan replies "Your magic is indiscriminate. I know you're unfamiliar with emotions but a lack of them can be just as dangerous as a burning rage."

R'yaarj reveals that vessels doing that is one of the main reasons most eldritch don't give contracts anymore

- Yamato asks how Ash and R'yaarj know each other. R'yaarj reveals that Ash has visited R'yleh and that she's not an eldritch.

Chapter 100: Obsessions

- Lucifer and Elijah are discussing inconsistencies with magic while Death has a duel with Gwyn and Lucius. The inconsistencies include:

-1. Being able to use magic with lifeforce, but humans in the human world can't use magic.

-2. Magic can't control the body, (example, water magic being unable to control the water in a being's body) but possession magic exists.

- 3. Healing magic doesn't work on someone considered "Technically dead" but the definition of "Technically dead" has high variability among the different species of the Otherworld.

- 4. It is impossible to resurrect the dead but necromancy exist. Lucifer states "You can reanimate the corpse but not the soul,"

- Lucifer concludes that the inconsistencies show that the Otherworld must have been created by a god with power far beyond the capabilities of the Otherworld's gods. Chaos, the being that linked the worlds, or Kos the forgotten. Elijah states that Lucifer must want to find these two, to which Lucifer responds that he does.

- Lucifer questions that he's one of a small handful of beings that asks these questions.

- Ash is reading a book that contains stories from the Church of Life and Death and asks Kahvis if they have problem with it, to which Kahvis replies that they don't but that they are surprised someone like Ash would be reading such stories.

- Kahvis thanks Ash for her help with Yamato.

- Kahvis asks to read a passage from the book: "To truly die one must be forgotten and yet evil must be remembered if it's to be stopped in the future. This balance shows us that evil and good must always exist, not out of cruel paradox, but necessity."

- Ash asks if that's Kahvis' favorite passage. Kahvis reveals it was a friend of theirs favorite passage and walks away, seemingly lost in thought. Ash wonders to herself who Kahvis is and dismisses her immediate guesses.

Chapter 101: Tiny Fang

- Gwyn states that Death seems different. Death says that he's trying to fight less aggressively. Lucius compliments Death on the overwhelming victory in the Demon War. Death mocks the use of the word "war" for that conflict. After a short back-and-forth, Death reveals that he's lost enough times to know he's not invincible.

- (Flashback) A much younger Lucius is slumped against a wall, about to lose consciousness when he sees Death approaching. Lucius says "Vázo" when he sees Death approach. Death gives Lucius blood, snapping Lucius into lucidity.

- Death tells Lucius that despite the current conflict being a civil war amongst the vampires, he's not letting them wipe each other out. Lucius shows a strong apathy towards the situation and says "I don't care, do whatever you want. The fighting in there just goes to show that my kind can't be trusted to make their own decisions."

- Lucius notices that the fighting stopped sooner than what seemed normal. Lucius observes Death holding a vampire by the neck. A younger looking Gwyn approaches Death. Death throws the vampire he was holding and kicks them unconscious. Death proceeds to bow to Gwyn and apologizes for his slowness with helping. The other vampires watching are stunned by the image of Death bowing to Gwyn.

- Death shouts "THE IDEAS OF THE BLOODRITE WILL DOOM YOUR KIND TO EXTINCTION! REMEMBER THAT!"

- Lucius is jabbed awake by Gwyn poking him with her spear. The two have a conversation where Lucius shows apathy towards the vampire's situation. Gwyn seems disappointed in Lucius. The two share a moment of peace among the post-battle damage. Death arrives and asks Gwyn and Lucius to keep him informed about vampire kind so that he can help again if needed.

The quote is "Should the gods ever grow complacent once again, should they believe themselves immortal, it is our duty as living beings, to return them to the void with the others."

- Kahvis reveals that that specific teaching was removed due to fears of it worsening the relationship between gods and lessers. Kahvis goes on to state that it's the Rider, Fury's, teaching. And that all the Rider's teachings have some kind of problem

- Ash reveals that she had been waiting for another Ragnarok but that Kahvis' appearance gave her a better chance to realize Fury's ideals.

- Kahvis asks Ash if her only goal is to kill gods. Ash asks casually if that's a problem. Kahvis responds by saying it is, so long as she doesn't point her magic at the resistance.

- Ash smiles while reading a passage to herself: "We don't hope for salvation, nor do we pray. We must create the world we want, lest we risk living in a world of ashes."
