So I've decided to summarize the events that lead up to what is the biggest current arc in the story.
There's 60k~ words leading up to it that I will try to condense using this, the other auxiliary chapter, and a newer auxiliary chapter called "Character Ability List". I would recommend reading the "Azriel Character List" since it lists three character descriptions that aren't in the character summary auxiliary
Reading the four should give a good enough context as to what is happening in the (name pending) "Azriel arc" Spoilers, obviously.

Events Summary
- Death informs Lucifer of an "Unknown" that's leading a human resistance group in the northern territories of the world
- The Unknown in question seems to be very well-informed of the world
- Lucifer sets out to investigate with a team (Peter/Lao/Sabu/Yvere/Heinrich) and a new recruit (Elijah)
- Elijah had been offered a contract by Lucifer to work for him in exchange for reducing his sentence. Lucifer told Elijah he would reduce the sentence in full, if he joined the investigation team's current mission
- Elijah is given a guide that is full of useful information about the world
- Death is convinced by a Grim (Term for elite soldiers that work for Death) to join Lucifer
- Death is informed by Michael (Current leader of the angels) that angels have been killed by the Unknown
- In an effort to stop Michael from getting overly involved Death agrees to take an angel with him (Mira)
- Lucifer teaches Elijah (Who has a lightning affinity) the basics of magic
- Elijah shows great aptitude for magic, but almost blows his hand off practicing an attack
- A parasite controlling the corpse of the former archangel Uriel (Known as Cytus) attacks Lucifer's team while he's away
- The team fights Cytus back, causing him to retreat before Lucifer arrives
- Peter used some of his life force in the fight, graying his hair, and aging his hands
- Death catches up to Lucifer's group
- Death informs Michael of Cytus's presence. Michael tells Death that Lucifer has three days to find Cytus before he sends a team
- Its revealed that tattoos are popular in the Otherworld
- Peter informs Elijah that there are items in the world that were supposedly created by an all-powerful god known as "Chaos"
- Lucifer fails to find Cytus after three days
- The group head to the border
- The group travel through Sangmara (Vampire's homeland)
- Death has a practice match with the vampire queen (Gwyn) and king (Lucius)
- Lucifer and Heinrich have a small chat about Heinrich revealing his past to Elijah
- Neutral zones are introduced. They're unowned land that exists between certain territories
- While traveling through the first neutral zone the group are surprised by Ganesha, Lakshmi, Shiva, and Vishnu, who, through aggressive means, wanted to have a practice match with Death
- Death angrily refuses, leading to Vishnu apologizing. Lucifer wonders if he would have gotten an apology if he had responded how Death did
- Cytus is being kept hidden by the archangel Azriel
- Azriel and Cytus form a tenuous alliance
- The group arrive in Vázoluna (Lycan territory)
- It's revealed through a flashback (that takes place centuries ago) that Death had a severe conflict with the lycans, leading to him slaughtering a large number of their kind and executing their, at the time, leader (Amakell)
- The lycan conflict was due, in part, to Amaterasu's interference. Death and The Saint (A woman veiled in white), threatened Amaterasu to never interfere again. Amaterasu was compliant.
- Death and Fensyr (Current lycan leader) discuss the state of things in Vázoluna. Amaterasu is interfering again and trying to get Fensyr replaced as leader
- The group arrive in Sol (The neutral zone that separates R'lyeh, Olympus, Heliopolis, and Vázoluna)
- One of Cthulhu's vessels informs Lucifer that he can sense Cytus's presence in Vázoluna
- Lucifer and Mira check to see, and it's learned (by the audience) that Mira is working with Azriel
- Lucifer is attacked by Azriel. Mira supposedly goes to help and is (As a ploy by Azriel) severely injured by Azriel.
- Lucifer and Mira return back to camp. Mira is questioned and allowed to live, but she has to leave the group.
- Amaterasu shows up to negotiate with Death about their prior agreement. Death forces Amaterasu to swear on her parents' (Izanagi/Izanami) names to never interfere again.
- Amaterasu reluctantly agrees and runs
- Lucifer is more suspicious of Mira after Amaterasu showed up, leading to him almost killing her
- Lucifer is stopped by Death. Lucifer tells Mira she has to leave immediately
- Amaterasu reveals (to the audience) that she is working with Azriel
- The two have amassed a small army made up of lycans, yokai, and angels
