The fact that I wasn't contactable for the last god knows how many years and now they are all dead and I wasn't even there with them. I feel so guilty right now because I have so many memories with them and realise they made me the woman I am today .
"Lady Red?" Skylar said
I immediately snapped back into reality and looking at her
"Yea, I'm alright (Sniffles ) . I just feel so bad right now the girls were always right by me even before I became Lady Red and when they needed me the most I wasn't there for them like I promised. "
"It's not your fault Lady Red , they completely understand and if you wanna visit them i can hand over to you the address of the grave yard. " Skylar replied and handed me a piece of tissue
"Thank you. Skylar . Would you like to stay for dinner?"
"Can I ?" she asked
"This is a thank you for everything for the last so many years. "
"Yes please. It would be an honor to have dinner with you again Lady Red " She replied and bowed slightly
We continued to sit down have a chat in the study before Draken called us both for dinner and headed straight to the dining hall and the kids ran over to me and started hugging me and asked who is the person next to me and of course i had to explain everything to them and they finally understood Skylar is my childhood friend i hate to lie to them but i cannot let them know i was in a gang .
During dinner everything was enjoying tonight's theme Asian fusion thanks to Charlie and Pram's amazing cooking. I ate 2 plates of rice even after Skylar and I decided to do the dishes and still continue our conversation .
"Your kids , they do not look like Damien at all. They look alot like you. " She commented
"Thank you . but I fear that one of them might have the mind of Damien . "
"Lumine will grow up to be a beauty for sure as for Chris will be the most handsome bachelor in history hahaha" She laughed
We both laughed and took the conversation to the living room after we were done. Even after watching 1 movie on Netflix everyone said their goodbyes to Skylar as i walked her to the main gate with her bike .
"Thank you Lady Red. and i will get back to you on how things are on Remy's side and get back to you immediately with the intel. " Remy said as she put on her helmet
"You're welcome, please be careful, I don't want you dead either. You have my number now contact me as soon as possible . "
"I will " She replied
She switched on her engine and waved goodbye to me and drove away. I made my way back into the house and called everyone else to the office immediately. Everyone sat down and waited for the table to load.
"Rin , Shane, have you found anything from the audio recording?"
"Yes, Remy is Ethan's submissive and in terms of business they are partners, they are the ones working together in the black market as well as the Red light district " Shane reported and pulled out all the documents.
"You mean Ethan has been entering Paris and nobody knew about it?"
"No, She flew over to Hong Kong for him, and now that she is in the States with him we are able to track their every move together. " Rin said .
"Okay, When are they going to Hong Kong to meet Sebastian? "
"Next week 20th Feb. " Rin said
"Okay , will fly in on the 21st, landing on the 22nd then let's drop by Damien's place and have a little chat. "
"Are you sure about this Boss?" Draken asked,
"Will just be there and leave no need to attack anyone , if any case he attacks will just make a run for it. But I need to speak to Remy first to alert me once she reaches Paris and when Skylar comes back with the information and the girls, We can proceed as planned ."
"Yes Boss"
"I hope you guys will be ready for this war , I cannot afford to lose any of you during this battle even though it's still far. Understood?"
"Yes boss!" Everyone replied and I dismissed them from there, knowing the Everyone for so many years. It's unlucky any of them will die in the hands of Ethan and Damien. My only concern now is my kids and Skylar.
I walked towards the balcony again and just stood there thinking long and hard on the next step of the plan. . .
"Boss " Draken's voice came from behind me
"Oh it's you, I was expecting Baji . . ."
"Baji's in the shower , Is there something bothering you ?" he curiously asked.
"Nothing much, don't worry about it . "
"Are you sure? You seem to be more affirmative of going ahead with the war against Damien now knowing that he isn't dead and Skylar uhh what's up with her?" Draken asks
" I'll explain more about my past tomorrow, since I will be working from home now. I have more time together with the kids before I send them overseas together with my father."
"Is that the original plan you had in mind?" Draken asks
"For their safety of course I have to do this, my father is getting old every single day and as for my kids it's going to take a toll on them. Even if i die in battle at least they can have a good life without me and i will have you and Baji and everyone else to take care of them for me "
"Why not just let them stay in the safe house?" he asked
"The safe house will not be enough to guarantee their safety. I'll be making arrangements for them to study and live in Singapore while we are getting into more serious business here. Trust me on this one i know what's best for the both of them and my father"
"Yes boss," he replied instantly
The both of us walked away from the Balcony and back into our rooms , i happened to find Baji already asleep on my bed i walked towards him and carefully brushed my hand over his face and all of a sudden his eyes opened slowly
"You're here, i thought where you went" he said in a very sexy sleepy tone
"You should continue sleeping , sorry to disturb your sleep love"
All of a sudden he grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him with my head on his chest and his arms around my body i was in a awkward position but it felt so nice to have him around it felt like home finally after so many years . he placed his chin on the top of my head both of us just fell asleep like that . . .
The next morning the first weekend oh goodness I never felt so relieved for it to be the weekend, the kids came rushing into my room and with Baji under the covers it was no surprise they started hitting him with the pillows as well making sure he is fully awake.
"Come on Let uncle Baji sleep a while more"
"Is Uncle Baji Daddy??" Chris asks as he sat in between me and Baji.
"Uhhh"
"You can call me anything you want kiddo's " Baji spoke and pulled the blanket over himself hiding himself again
The kids started attacking him with names and bullying him, a knock came on the door it was Draken and Charlie
"Boss, there's something you need to see." Darken spoke
My eyes opened wide and told the kids to stay in the room with Baji while i went downstairs with Draken and Charlie , we got to the living room and there was a big package for me and i wasn't aware of any mail coming in on the weekend , everyone stood around the box and wondered what is inside there is certain no foul odor to it .
"Let's open it"
Matt , Xander and Hans started opening the box and god the odor just smacked in everyone's faces , despite the odor they continued to open the box and pure shock on 3 of the Men's faces i walked forward a little and took a good look at it . It was Zoey from the 4th division covered in blood, fish and ice.
"Ring Skylar to come to me immediately. "
"Yes Boss" Rin replied and started calling Skylar , she got the message and rushed over as soon as possible . The doors opened and there I was sitting on the sofa with the box on the coffee table and she herself took a good look inside and saw it was Zoey and instantly broke down.
"Zoey WHY!" Skylar cried as Matt comforted Skylar on the side .
"Boss, there is a note we found in between the bodies. Do you want us to read it out?" Charlie asked
"Yes please. "
"Must be nice to be able to be the most popular person in the country. Hey Lady Red, oh sorry you are no longer the Lady Red I am . This is a warning for you Ms Wong approach any of the butterflies and i will kill them one by one for you Love Remy Lady Red" Charlie read out the letter and lowered it after.
I clench my fits together letting the anger boil up in me. This is all my fault. Knowing I'm putting the girls all in Danger this can go wrong in so many ways.
"Skylar, I'm sorry . this is all my fault "
"Lady Red don't apologise, this isn't your fault , I am the one that approached you and I don't know how she found out but she certainly isn't happy about it . " Skylar replied
"Okay who and what is Lady Red? Who is Remy and what is going on here?" Draken and the rest of the men were rather confused.
"Settle down boys, let's bury Zoey's body first and I'll answer all of your questions. Pram could you make sure Baji stay with the kids and make sure to make the smell disappear "
"Yes Milady" Pram replied and everyone else quickly got to work ,
We brought the body to the mortgage and let the people there do their work and make sure she looked pretty when it was time to do the make up. I strictly told the personnel light make up and enhanced her Butterfly stamp on the left side of her neck . They followed my instructions very clearly and placed her body in the casket and I let the graveyard people get to work and I discussed with them regarding the tombstone. Thankfully there was a slot next to the 250 that died so we placed her beside them and bid our goodbyes from there.
When we returned home everyone gathered in the office and sat around the table with Skylar leading against the window.

I taught Skylar everything about being a Red butterfly and from there we recruited from 150 to 400 in just 3 years. We fought with Men , Women but we would never harm the eldely or kids. Of course we were fighting for justice when I turned 26. I decided to hand down my ladyship to Remy. She was so ambitious and had every potential to lead but i never imagined after so many years she became corrupted . . . "
I sat down on the chair leaning against it bring up the photos from the file
"This was my crew back then , that's me in the center followed by Zoey , Remy , Riley , Nat , Luna and Abigail . all of us combined were a 400 girls gang, the biggest in Paris back then. Now we know Remy is working with Ethan and Damien to gather more people. We have to act fast."
"What do you want us to do Boss" Draken asked
"I want Matt , Xander , Izzy and Kyle to round up the remaining girls with Skylar and bring them to the safe house.Only by keeping there i can guarantee their safety"
"Yes boss!" Boys replied
"Yes lady red " Skylar replied
They quickly ran off and to start evacuating the girls to the safe house while the rest of us settled more stuff in the office.
"Draken, find me a nice apartment for my dad and the kids , schools especially will want to send to them 2 weeks from now"
"Yes boss" Draken replied and quickly got to work as well.
"Rin , Shane, can we track down Remy and Damien's location currently?"
"Damien and Ethan are still in the states, Remy is boarding the plane back to Paris " Rin reported back
"Good, I will get her at the airport . "
"That is not a good idea, " Shane replied.
"Why is that?"
"Because her girls are going to pick her up and if she realises Skylar has taken the remaining girls of the gang to your safe house she is going to kill everyone last of them before they could even reach the safe house. "
"You're right… despite it being a 11 hr flight that gives her more than time to suspect that i have been doing all of these. You know what, I'll risk it, leave it as it is, anything comes i will handle it. "
"No!" everyone yelled towards my direction
"Like I said , this war has to start and end somewhere. Either we bring it to them or they bring it to us. Either way it will happen. Let's move on with the plan. "
"Yes boss" Everyone answered and got back to work
"Boss the School in Singapore and accommodation has been settled, when would you like to fly them over?" Draken asked
"By the end of the week, it's just temporary nothing permanent , i don't know how to tell the kids either …. "
"Do you want to go and tell them now?" Draken asked …
"Yeah, I'll go now. "
I got up from the chair and went into my room to see Baji and Kids cuddling together while watching a movie , i leaned against the door and caught their attention
"MOMMY!" Both kids exclaimed and got off my bed and started running to me. I carried Chris and held Lumine's hand and walked back to the bed and sat both of them down.
"Uhm Listen, Mommy is doing something dangerous and I worry for your safety so I will send the both of you to Singapore to study and Live like normal kids. Is that alright?"
"WHAT?!" Both exclaimed i can feel my tears welding up in my eyes i lowered my head and sniffled a little before looking back up at them again
"Grandpa will be with you all the way i promise you that , you aren't happy here in Paris " i took both my kids hand and place them on my face looking at them with teary eyes
"This is the hardest thing Mommy has to do , You know mommy has to protect the both of you right? And how much mommy loves you, you both know that right ``I sob through my words holding them both tight.
"Mommy, will you come back to us once you are done?" Lumine asks
"Yes definitely and i will make sure Uncle Baji and i will be married by then and you can call him daddy"
"Really mommy?" Chris asks
Of course i was being sarcastic but i just nodded my head
"So be good in Singapore alright , Mommy will send you both packages every month alright and i will call you every night. How about that ?"
"YES YES !" Both kids cheered but I know deep down they are afraid of moving away from me but I guess they kinda understand why I am doing this to them. That promise of going back to them once I'm done with this war I cannot guarantee to them either… if i die on the field it will be over for me.
