Rebecca walks down the hallway that she has just previously got out of history. Her blonde hair bounced each time she took a step because she knew what she had to do. She needed to find Edward and the twins. Those 3 is what she needs right now because she doesn't feel like hanging around Markil or any of her friends right now. All of them were annoying her, especially Aisha. She decided to try and become friendly with Edward and twins because she knows that if she becomes friendly with at least the twins then Edward would become her friend or maybe her lover. Rebecca smiled at the thought of Edward becoming hers other than for a 1 night stand.
Rebecca can even remember the 1 night stand as though it was yesterday, but sadly it was over 2 weeks ago. His body against her own was what she has wished for the most out of this entire school. She felt her happiness leave her as she sees Edward hanging around his group of friends. A female transgendered Canadian named Rosy Williams, an African American man named Jordan Hanks, the twins, a Mexican girl named Maria Garcia, and a Chinese man named Li Wei. She hated them all since she considered them all losers, but she has to suck it up and deal with it.
Rosy Williams used to be a boy, but changed to a girl since she got abused a lot when she used to be a boy. Even now as a girl, Rosy is abused by her family, but Edward allowed Rosy to stay with him. They are kind of like siblings to be more accurate of their relationship. Rosy would always wear a different colored hair style after every 5 months. This month happens to be red, it was a rose red color too which matched her name. Her outfit today happens to be a black tang top with dark jeans and black ankle cut high heeled boots. The material of the boots looks to be leather, but it isn't. Rather of a different material that is made to mimic leather. She is currently holding onto 3 binders, a calculator, the latest Samsung Galaxy android, and a pencil. Her hazel eyes were looking at the twins talk about their father's birthday from last night. Her long wavy rose red hair was parted to the left side of her head as she smiles.
Second is Jordan Hanks. Jordan Hanks is known to be a nerd and the best comedian in the entire school even though he doesn't look like it. Jordan is from a family of 7, he is the oldest brother out of the 7 siblings. He lost his dad from a murder. His mother has about 3 different jobs and got fired from 5. Jordan works 2 different jobs which causes him to be online for school sometimes when he has work. Whenever he is around, everyone enjoys him being around. Bringing fun and entertainment with him. Jordan is wearing a dark green jacket, grey t-shirt, black loose pants that didn't go passed his waist, and black and white Jordans. Twins consider Jordan as a long lost brother as well as the others.
Third is Maria Garcia. Maria is known to be Edward's love interest and Rebecca's "rival". Maria is known to be the mother of the group. She is from a family 20 siblings. 4 siblings which are adopted from her Aunt. Maria's mother and father always work which causes Maria to always look after her older and younger siblings. 15 brothers and 5 girls including Maria. Luckily enough for Maria, all of the siblings get along on most days, but on other days it is more of a hand full for her. Maria is wearing a light green V-neck short sleeved shirt, a white floral skirt that went passed her knees, and white flats. Her long curly black shoulder length hair was put in a side braid as she was holding onto a book that was written by Stephen King.
Finally is Li Wei. Li Wei is known to be the hacker, code developer, and really good with information among the group. He is from a family of 3 meaning that he is an only child, but that doesn't mean that he gets treated fairly. He is known to be a trophy for his family because he won against others in regional champions for spelling, math, and science. He is known to be one of the smartest in the group, he also happens to be in all of Edward's classes too. Rebecca is jealous of Li Wei because he is always around Edward when it comes down to dealing with problems. He is wearing a black hoodie with grey jeans and black Nike's. His brown eyes were looking at Rosy as he smiles at her. Everyone in the group can tell that Li Wei likes Rosy. His short black hair was moved to the side as a piece of it was in his face.
Rebecca puts on a fake smile and walks over to them, "Hey Edward!"
Edward looks at Rebecca and rubs his eyes with his left hand as his right hand was holding onto the right strap of his bookbag, "What do you want this time Rebecca?"
Rebecca shows Edward the paper that Prof. Guligs handed out, "I want you to help me out with this or you will have to give me a kiss instead." She smiles a bit as if she was expecting the kiss instead of him helping her.
Edward let's out a heavy sigh and holds up his free hand, "I will catch up with you guys later." He begins walking away from his friends as he heads to the library with Rebecca following him closely behind while lowering his hand. He doesn't enjoy her company since she is always trying to get him to be her boyfriend which he doesn't want to do. He can hear in the background Jordan saying:
"Why does he always have to do deal with that girl?"
Edward regrets deeply of that night he spent with Rebecca. How he wished for that night to never happen again.
Rebecca walks beside Edward while holding up the piece of paper with her iPhone 11 still in her right hand and chewing on her left thumb nail. She looks at Edward with her sky blue eyes as she admired him. She says, "How come you have to be so hot?"
Edward ignored her question, "What does the first question say?" Not wanting to be near her anymore than he already has to be.
Rebecca looks down at the first question, "What does each of the cloaks mean and what does gender have to play a part of the cloaks?" She lazily said as for they both knew that Rebecca doesn't want to do the homework, but rather she wanted to spend more time with Edward.
"This is for Prof. Guligs class right?"
"Yeah." Rebecca says not as lazily.
Edward looks around to see everyone staring at him with Rebecca. Each look was distasteful and wondering why he would hang out with her. He wondered as well, but he knew that it wasn't for the reason that everyone is thinking about. He looks at the paper to see that Rebecca was trying to scratch off the words and let's out a heavy sigh through his nose, "Alright so the red cloaks are known to represent like the women who lost their husbands or children because of the rituals that has happened and they were given a chance at a new love with head masters."
Rebecca stops walking and takes out a purple pen than begins to write down the answer. She quickly scribbled down the answer before reading the next one, "The red cloaks represent the woman, why only men allowed to wear the blue cloaks?"
"Because men were looked upon as the leaders or the head masters." Edward turns a corner that leads to the library. He felt his footsteps getting heavier as he begins to slow down until he stopped to a halt. He watches Rebecca with his brown eyes as he speaks, "Why do you want to always be around me?"
Rebecca smiles up at Edward, "Because I like you." Her eyes looking deeply and lovingly into Edward's brown eyes that shows no sign of love. She stops 7 feet away from him as she stares at him.
Edward let's out a sigh and begins to walk away, "I had enough of your games. Now leave me alo-"
Rebecca grabs onto Edward's left hand. Forcing him to stop walking. She gives him the puppy eyes, "Pwease don't leave me alone..."
Edward looks down at her. Not wanting to give her anymore attention that she is begging for from him. He was about to turn away until he sees Maria walking up to him.
Maria was still holding onto the Stephen King book that she has always been holding. She looks at Rebecca, "Let go of him, you obsessed brat." Her accent was thick as she spoke.
Rebecca let's go of Edward harshly as she begins to walk away while holding onto the piece of paper that Prof. Guligs had handed out before the bell. She walks down the almost empty hallway as she notices someone outside of a nearby school window. She looks through it while almost touching the glass. Peering through it in seeing the other side of the empty road before her.
Before Rebecca was someone wearing a black cloak. Covering their face as they stood still. Standing on the opposite side of the school. Not moving nor saying a word. They were holding onto something that Rebecca couldn't make out. An oncoming public bus went by the hooded person. It by at a fast speed. Once the bus went by, the hooded person was nowhere to be seen.
Rebecca backs up from the window and shrugs before heading home. She has had enough of school for one day even though it isn't end of the school day yet...
