The front entrance school door opened up as Rebecca left the building. She was looking down at her phone the entire time she was walking through the school. Nothing was keeping her busy, but she clearly didn't enjoy when she had to go by students who were glaring at her. She hated it and she hated it even more when teachers think that they own her which they don't. Her pink flip flops clicking noise soon stopped once she sees the road. The road that had the hooded person on the other side who just disappeared without a trace.
No footprints were left behind, but rather the thing that the hooded person was holding.
Rebecca walks over to the thing that the hooded person apparently dropped when the bus went by. She tilts her head as she walks onto the road. Seeing that it was a white cardboard that was horribly cut and there was a terrible stench to it. It smelled as if a dead fish ate a rotten and moldy cheese. Rebecca held her nose as she looks around to see no cars coming her way. She quickly gets onto the sidewalk before any car could come and hit her. Rebecca squats down onto the sidewalk and takes off her bookbag so that she put the assignment that Prof. Guligs assigned into her history folder which is a glittery pink binder. She put the binder back into her bookbag and takes out a rubber glove that a doctor would wear during surgery. She puts the rubber glove onto her right hand as she puts down her iPhone 11.
The cardboard felt a little light, but heavy. It is probably due to gum being stuck to it. The backside of the cardboard has scratch marks and nails sticking through it. The nails looked as though they have rusted in time and were forced to do through the cardboard. Some of the nails were cracking and some pieces fell off as Rebecca carefully picks it up.
Rebecca flips the cardboard over to see a skull, which has dried up blood on it, nailed into a carved magic circle. She screams at the top of her lungs and throws the carboard into the street. Kicking and getting up to run away. Not knowing that kicking the skull would activate the magic circle. She stumbled a bit as she fell a few times, but before she knew it. She sees 2 old and dark oak wooden doors before her. Preventing her in leaving in what she thought was the road. She banged on the doors and cried out for anyone to come and save her. Her legs shaken with fear as she turns around. Seeing her surrounding area turn into an old church. Tears were coming down her face at an alarming rate as her heart pounded in fear. This isn't what she wanted her day to turn out like.
The floor looked somewhat new, but not really since some nails were sticking out. Mold were growing onto some cushions that were in the back row. The benches that is facing the altar were fading in time as they look unsittable. The altar before Rebecca was lit up in candles as a stone table lays still and cracked from over time of not being taken care of. The windows surrounding the teenager were cracked from days of weather, rocks, and many other occurrences that has happened at this church.
Rebecca slowly walks up to the stone table. Seeing that it is split cleanly in half as though someone cut through it than punched it. The fear of dying overwhelmed her as she stares at the dried up blood stains that are on the stone table. It looked as though it has been there for years. Probably was there for years knowing that some dried up blood is turning black. Before she could lay a hand onto the stone table, a voice coming up from behind her says, "Qui es-tu?" (Who are you?) The voice was female and the language was French.
Rebecca turns around quickly to see a 22 year old and freshly young looking woman standing behind her. The woman's hair was white as her eyes were pale light blue. Her lips were charcoal black and her eyelids were dark grey. The woman's outfit is a long black sleeved cotton shirt, black jeans shorts that looks as though it was ripped at the top of the thighs, black leggings were underneath the shorts which were also cotton, and her shoes were black boots that looks as if they were made for a mountain trip, but for women.
Rebecca sheepishly smiles and backs up from the woman. Notices that she didn't have a smile and the smell in the church began to smell like death. Her death and sadly she knew that it wasn't the woman's smell either. Rebecca stops backing up before she hit the stone table behind her, "I-I was just about to leave!! I just happened to end up here!!"
"How did you end up here?"
The question was quick and catching Rebecca off guard. For even she knew that she doesn't know how she got there, but the only thing that she can say is, "I-I found a cardboard with a skull nailed to it. A-A magic circle was carved in it..."
The woman looks at Rebecca. Not moving or anything as she just stares at her. The church became darker and the candles were flickering violently. The benches began to look freshly new and the floors began to look as though a professional put it together. The windows began to ooze with blood as the woman continues staring at Rebecca, "A skull nailed to a magic circle?"
Rebecca nods as she notices everything in the room becoming newer before it hit her that she is hearing screaming. Screaming of people who were begging for mercy. She holds a hand up to her head as she looks at the woman before her, "I need to see a doctor."
"Why see when you can join?" The woman tilts her head to the right as she touches Rebecca's cheek. Her hand was warm regarding that her skin was really pale. The woman leans herself up close to Rebecca ear, "Don't mind telling me who gave you the skull and the magic circle?"
Rebecca looks at the woman who was staring back at her. The woman's eyes showed no fear, but Rebecca immediately snapped out of it. She glares at the woman before and walks around her, "Listen here lady. I am the mayor's daughter. You got that?" She turns around and crossing her arms. Letting her bookbag fly against her back as she watches the woman turn around to look at her.
The woman smiles a little as she spreads out her legs. Not afraid of Rebecca and knowing what she is trying to do. She holds up her left hand as Rebecca can see something carved into it, "My my, I didn't know that the mayor's daughter would be here. My apologies, I should have given myself a proper entrance." The woman soon bows a bit as she brings her right arm behind her back and her left around her stomach, "MY name is Flavie Macquil. The Cursed Witch." She looks up to see Rebecca giving up on her stance of pride.
Rebecca has heard of a young girl named Flavie Macquil from Prof. Guligs, but she didn't know that she would come face-to-face with a Flavie. Rebecca steps backwards before turning around and running towards the door. Banging on it and screaming out for help. Knowing that her cries were helpless.
Flavie watched Rebecca scream and beg for help from outside of the church to come, but how she wished that the girl was only not as prideful as she has been. She walks away from the stone table, "Au revoir la fille du maire, Rebecca!" (Goodbye mayor's daughter, Rebecca!) She moves her left thumb a little downwards as she watches Rebecca's head twists itself off to where it looks like a car hit her hard enough to where her head flew off. Flavie walks over to Rebecca's body to see that it wasn't twitching or anything. She squats down and notices Rebecca's iPhone 11, she grabs it and looks at it to see text bars pop up, "Engin fou." (Crazy contraption.) Flavie threw the phone onto Rebecca's body and taps her foot onto the wooden floor, making the body levitating off of the ground and was soon disappeared out of her sight back at the school. Her pale blue eyes looking at the spot where the body originally was at before turning away and walking back over to the stone table...
The school bell rings and the students pour out of the school to see that the buses hasn't arrived yet, but rather police cars were surrounding the area. An ambulance and the mayor's car have freshly arrived not to long ago.
Edward looks at the scene before him as he turns his head to see his friends approach him. He turns his head back at the flashing lights, "Wonder what happened."
Jordan has his left hand in his left pocket while his right hand was holding onto a brown leather strap of an old fashion bookbag, "Hopefully it is Rebecca's dead body."
Mikey and Zach runs past everyone and jumps over some bushes as they know that Rebecca won't be stopping them anymore if the body does belong to her. Mikey speeds up and sees that the police officers looking around as though they were waiting for the twins to show up. Majorly is because they were hearing the mayor calling out the first callers for not saving her daughter.
Zach stops next to Mikey, "Well than we are going to have a hard time seeing stuff."
Mikey shrugs, "You telling me." He turns around as Zach begins to follow him.
The twins walks back over to Edward as both stared at him and stopped walking.
Zach speaks up first, "The body belonged to Rebecca."
Jordan got down onto his knees and brought his hands together, "Thank you, Jesus, God, and other immortal beings!!" He got back onto knees and smiles wide. Seeing that the others are also relieved in not having to deal with Rebecca anymore.
Edward notices Aisha and Markil walking away from the school along with their group of friends. He has known that they were using Rebecca for her fame since she was the mayor's daughter. It was harsh of them to just leave, but he can understand why. He looks at Jordan who was doing a happy dance, "Is your mother home?"
Jordan does a spin and snaps his pointer fingers at Edward, "Nope! But my grandma is!" He turns around and starts dancing away.
Edward looks at the group before following Jordan. Knowing fully well that the rest of the group would follow. He could feel a great relief get off of his chest as he turns his eyes to see a skull looking back at him. Edward stops walking and notices the skull dripping in blood before disappearing. Seeming as though it was just only an illusion.
Li notices Edward staring at the road and puts a hand onto his right shoulder. Causing Edward snap out of his trance and stare at Li who mentioned to keep on following Jordan who was dancing away with the others following behind.
Edward smiles at Li and continues on following Jordan and the others. Knowing that he doesn't have to deal with Rebecca's idiocy and popularity anymore. What happens back at the school, stays there.
