Chapter 14 - First Day

Standing outside of a thick furbish door. Where 2-5-1-9 is inscribed on a plank. Harbek knocks on the door and waits.

*Creak!!*

"Come on in Sir. Harbek," a small voice from inside.

Harbek enters but stops Henry from following. He didn't know what they were speaking about as he spends an hour outside looking around while standing before the door being the good man he was.

"Henry come on in," the door opens again and Harbek voice came from the inside.

"Put your hand on that," on the table is also a Gnome with brown clothing. Henry follows.

When he touched the ball it glows in black and Henry look at Harbek confused. He answered him with a slight shake of his head.

"Black Apprentice, Age 24, Henry Karlos. That will do... Please go to 3-6-2-8," He said with clear disgust in his tone.

Henry got out first and he felt a slight burst of energy like it just leaked from something. He stares at Harbek who got out of the room with a satisfied smile. He nodded and the tiles they ride on flies again toward the third floor.

"Shut up," it was all that Harbek said and they descended into a silent game.

They arrive at the same looking room with Gnome being the staff. Henry successfully enrolled for Mastery System.

-----

They arrive outside of the Tower.

"You'll be staying here for 10 years or so depending on how fast you learn boy. Remember..... Don't trust anyone even me. Forget about your special core and only practice black magic when someone can see you and even in your room. It's safe to use your hand trick but don't tell anyone about you having a purple core. Are we clear?" Harbek gravely said. The jolly-depress man became serious again.

"What happens?" Henry asks as he feels about the attitude of the staff on both of them are weird.

"Some light fanatic ideologists manage to snatch the Directory Seat for Law. The rules for rituals and black wizards are now heavier than usual. I should have killed that man," Harbek grimace once he thought of that person.

"Who?" Henry asked.

"Vesperr Femell, An Elf Traitor. He offers Viancia, Elven Princess to Baldur, Son of Odin. Now, he became his retainer. The Royal Elf can't do anything to him now as Aēsir behind his back is one of the Pantheon that keeps other Dimensions sealed," Harbek softly said.

"Remember, don't ever go near him. Trusting anyone will earn you death or core extraction," Harbek then opens a gate.

"Wait... Here! I have written what you need to do," Henry gave Harbek a notebook. He opens it and smiles at Henry.

"I'll make sure to do this. I will see you in the later year," Harbek finally left.

Henry then again enters the Tower. This time he walks toward the left water passage where he swiped a black card. He enters and steps on a round tile just perfect for his size. He was taken to the very top of Tower Administration and arrive at another gate where he then scans again his card. The wall crumbles and opens a path.

If you will compare it below. Then this place is a social elite residential and below are the slums. He was taken to the left side of the first floor.

Each apartment is made of marble stone that shines and reflects images. Henry was taken at the very end, 1st floor's 10th rows last apartment or 1-10-10.

Entering the room, Henry has his eye and lip twitching. His apartment is barely called a house as it just an empty 3 room and 1 bathroom.

"Haaa... I'm still underprepared from all I took," he sighed in distress. "Well, I need to sleep early as tomorrow is my first lesson," Henry started to unpack his clothes and overlay it with others.

-----

Henry wakes up early. He clenches his fist as he feels the power flowing through his vein.

"I'm on my mine..."

"Yeah, what do I do?"

"Hhmm... I don't have anything about this world."

"Yes... I don't have anything. But they also don't have anything about me."

"Lay low... Yeah, lay low until I can do what I want."

"Yeah, whatever the cost. I have to live for my mother."

"Yes... For mother."

Henry mumbles to himself and got to the shower. In a separate room, Henry started to work hard on his training.

Starting from stretching, then following with Jumping Jacks, Burpees, Push-ups, Squats.

"This is new... I still can't feel my stamina being drained. This will be hard," he mumbles and started to pick up the speed.

"That's enough..."

Henry then got his baton stick and started to do some advanced Arnis routine. He weaves his baton like a sword to his invisible enemy. Starting to do the large movement in accordance with Harbek's spar with him using spells. His baton will glow in purple light in every weave.

"Haaa... I love this." Henry looks at the time and it's only an hour before the lesson start.

"Let's prepare," Henry got to shower again for the second time and stayed in front of the large mirror attached to the wall at the bathroom.

"Is this me? I like this form more. Mother, your son finally became a model as you always wanted but I can't do some normal work now or they will die in envy. Hehe!" Henry got out after admiring his new look. Wearing full black with a jacket on top. He got his sling bag on his side with his grimoire on it.

He syncs the headset with his phone and started to play it making sure to place the three solar power banks on the window.

Henry steps out of his room and looks in the opposite directions before standing on the round mover.

"Library..."

It then trembles and takes him off the place. He puts on the hood and makes sure that no one sees his eyes. Henry focused on sensing the space around him and he smirks when he somehow can detect and observe things without his eye open and it even takes it to the next level as interweaving hue of energies are everywhere.
