Chapter 34: New Dawn of Year
"We can all create a sunset, but it takes someone special to create a new dawn."
CESIA'S POV
WE'RE ALREADY AT THE POPULAR beach resort of Athens at the Grand Beach of Eden a private peninsula on the Athenian Riviera. This beach club offers five-star luxury with a casual vibe. Its wide organized sandy beach offers an excellent beach restaurant with nice views, a bar, showers, and comfortable changing rooms. Water sports, a playground, and a beach volleyball court guarantee long days of beach fun for the entire family.
"Cesia, we're waiting! I know you're done. Don't be shy." They keep on calling me, outside of this bathroom.
Dark reserve a room for us to stay in this Hotel. Amara and I were in the same room, separated from the boys.
"O-okay. Wa-it for a while." Natalia, Amara, and Nallah are waiting for me to come into this bathroom. The boys are in the reserved cottage, near the beach. They were cooking for our dinner, tonight. The two even agreed to wear beach attire and I was even included.
I am not comfortable, with what I'm wearing. I don't know where is the world beautiful with this little piece of cloth. It's a black one-piece suit, called Suboo Bonded Cutout Ruffled One-piece Swimsuit. Amara prepares it for me, and she was excited to see me dressing like this. It is not too revealing, but this is not my type of dress. I have no choice, but to wear it, because Amara sabotages my dress, and I can't react because I might go out here, naked. My proper clothes are in the hotel room. They plan it, so I don't have a choice.
"Okay…It's only this time. Don't worry, you're not naked, the important thing is, that your private parts of your body were covered." I said, giving confidence to myself. I open the door of the bathroom, I keep on putting to my mind that I'm not alone with this stuff. I know, I'm now beet red because of shame. I look to these two women, who plan this thing. There they are hanging their mouths like they have seen a ghost and Nallah who is clapping her hands.
"OMG! You're the true definition of a Goddess!" Amara shriek in amazement, looking at me with admiration.
"Perfect! The curves were stunning. I envy your body." Natalia said, looking at my whole body. She amazes me too. I winced at what they were saying. That's why I'm not comfortable with this stuff. I'm not ignorant in terms of learning, city kinds of stuff, and new trending. I have seen it on TV, back when I'm prison at my guardian's house. Even I've been locked up, these things were not late for me. It is just my first time, doing it.
"Okay, wear this Robe. The boys are now waiting." Natalia gives me a White silky robe and I quickly wear it. The cold wind makes me shiver, and I can smell the salty smell of the sea. The place was too beautiful, to describe. It is a living paradise for me.
We are now walking on a pathway of stones, leading to where the cottages, takes place. It is beside the sea, it is an open form of cottages, that made you see the beauty of the shore. We harvested watching - eyes of the people and followed where we were going. Amazement and adoration are within their eyes. Somewhere whistling to get their attention especially boys. Somewhere whispering, and envy stares from girls.
We harvest too much attention, and this is what I don't like the most. It's obvious they were amazed by our presence, it will make worst if we have seen us, wearing swimsuits. It's not too far to walk and we arrived at our cottage, where boys are waiting and busy preparing the food on the table. Barbecue, kinds of seafood such as shrimps, crabs, and seashells. They were vegetable salad too, wine and juices.
"Let's Eat," Dark said, and lead a chair for his wife and daughter. They were the true definition of a happy family. I admire them, even Natalia was a mortal before she manages to accept and understand dark's true form and accept to be one of them, but she was called a turned vampire. I seated at the vacant and I mentally curse to my mind; that the vacant seat was only at the side of Trevor. I sit without giving any emotions that it is too big deal to me, that he was on my side. And, I almost flinched when he whispers in my ear that made me shiver and goosebumps.
"Don't worry; I will make sure to give you a happier family in the future. Just, full yourself with the scene you have seen in front of us… By the way, you smell so nice, babe." He said, that made me swallow the lump on my throat. After he said those words, he reacted like it was nothing to him. Me? I'm sure my cheeks are now full red but thanks to it, they can't notice it because it's already dark, only the light bulbs lit the surroundings.
I finish eating, where I don't feel if I was full. I can't enjoy the delicious food in front of us. Because of what Trevor said, my soul was carried away by air.
The night was filled with our laughs, stories, and games we made. We are encircling the bonfire near the sea. We are here making memories at the remaining time of the year and ready to welcome the incoming New Year. It's already eleven o'clock; even the kids were not sleeping and enjoy the night.
"Ces…It's time let's go swimming!" Amara's thin voice made me nervous. I am too shy to show what I'm wearing in front of many people, especially Trevor. My cheeks started to burn, again. I don't have the courage to take-off this robe.
"Ah-I'm not in a mood to swim," I said while stuttering.
"Oh, come on! I don't accept any reasons, right now. I know you were excited to swim on the seawater. And, I know too you were hesitating to take that robe-off in your body. Don't mind their stares, instead, be proud of what you're hiding. Believe me, there's no wrong in you wearing that suit. Look around, you're not alone." I swallow my lump on the throat. Yeah, she was right I'm excited to swim in the sea. I want to experience it. Maybe, I should erase my non-confident self. I look around and she was right, again. All women, kids, or teenagers wearing swimsuits.
"O-kay. I take it off if we do it together.." I said I don't care if I need to do this. We are on the cottage and the boys were busy talking in the bonfire they made with a bucket of liquor drinks.
"OH! Natalia, on three?" Amara said, Natalia was widely smiling and nods at us. I nod too, telling them I'm ready until Amara was counting…
"1…2…3…Show it off!" Amara shouts and there I take the white-silky robe in my body and the cold wind hugs my body immediately which made me shivers, again.
I look to Amara who is wearing a blue two-piece suit that hugs her sexy body. Natalia is wearing a red, two-piece suit too, which made her hotter.
"Let's go and Rock the Sea!" Amara shouts and walks confidently towards the sea. Natalia and I wear smiling because of her cheerfulness. There we saw the people's face hanging their mouths looking at us like we walk in slow motion. The gazes of the boys were diverted to us, and there we saw the amusement and adoration in their eyes.
Dark had a grin on his face, showing love to his wife. Aries's eyes widen and got stunned looking at Amara. Aivan's mouth was hanging looking at us with unbelievable emotions. And, Trevor? Clenching his jaw and his dark and cold stares were looking only at me. I saw a glint of controlling his admiration, and I know he wasn't happy seeing me this. Or is it just my imagination? We are now in front of them, but they were all dazed.
"What are you wearing?" Aries's serious voice, asking Amara. Earlier they have these hanging faces and now all of them were wearing angry faces?
"Ahm, Swimwear?" Amara answers innocently and raises her brows.
"Why are you wearing those sinful clothes?" Trevor's dark and cold voice made me tremble. He is looking at me with a dark impression.
"We will go for a swim?" I answered. It's the use of swimwear, right? That's why they called it SWIM_WEAR, right?. What's their point of asking?
"You just need to swim and we're like that?" Dark said with gritted teeth.
"Tsk! Jealous Freaks. Girl's come on, don't mind them. Let's go for a swim." Natalia was now pulling our hands straight to the seawater, leaving them, dumbfounded.
We are laughing on the seawater, remembering their reactions, earlier. And, there they are waiting at the seaside holding our robes. They were fencing the area with their monstrous stares towards the people who will look at us. And, it made us laugh for more. I know they were too protective of us, but it's a nice scene to see their reactions.
"Let's get out of here; we have three minutes remaining for the last day of the year. We must welcome the New Dawn of Year with our loved –ones. It's a very good start to the year. Shall we?" Natalia said that made me smile. She was too kind to say that. She was lucky that she ended with the right person.
We went up in the water and went to the boys who were waiting for us by the sea. I look to the man, who's carrying my dress. Will I end up with him? Natalia said it is a good start to welcome a new dawn of yours with the love of your life. Will it include my feelings that I really, try to bury? Will my New Dawn of Year, memorable? How I wish I'm just like Natalia. But, those wishes will never be achieved, right?
