Chapter 7 - chapter 6- stalker stalker

*Rape will be mentioned but I'm not going into detail.*

Rain has never felt so good. The sad truth is that she can't feel it but can only hear it. She's been stuck here for a week and she's not sure if she wants to live or die at the hands of her kidnapper's. "Wake her up." The gruff voice that she's been hearing, echos throughout– what she assumes– the large warehouse.

"She's already up."

"Leave." Shuffling of boots grow quiet and the room feels cold. She's never seen him but she hopes his an ugly man. The sound of boots grow louder and closer, making her shuffle back.

"Don't be afraid. I mean no harm." She scoffs at the blatant lie and receives a slap, whipping her hair to her face. She holds her breath as she feels him touch her face, growing wary as he continues to touch her jaw.

"Akiyah. My lovely Akiyah." The kidnapper takes off the scarf from Akiyah's eyes and she's blessed to see a handsome man. It's a shame he kidnapped her. He holds onto her jaw and forces her to face him, gripping hard. She feels like she'll have a bruise from this.

"What do you want from me?" Her words are muffled but she's able to ask him. He grins–a chilling grin– and stands to his full height, still facing her. He takes out a small object from his pocket and gets down on his knee; a proposal position.

"What are you doing?"

"Marry me."

"Do you have any news about Akiyah Blanca?" The busy police station seems to frighten the fragile girl. Although she wasn't so fragile a week ago, when she had her friend nearby.

"I'm sorry but I can't share that information with you." The blond woman sits behind the table, calmly typing a report in her black laptop.

"What do you mean? I'm her friend and I at least deserve to know where she is." Amanda bangs on the wooden table, startling the officer and the rest that were close by. They stare at her for a minute, wondering if they should jump in or not, but notice shortly that the blond officers demeanor is calm, they move on.

"Miss Amanda, I need you to be calm." Amanda sits in the chair, pushing it back slightly. She anxiously taps her foot and stares at the blond woman.

"Well, are you going to tell me or should I continue to make a ruckus 'til I get it out of you?" She glances down at the table and glances at the name written on the platinum nametag. Jones. Julia Jones.

"No need. I will tell you what we have so far." Amanda spent the afternoon there, not bothering to go to school or replying to the pending messages that came from Sabrina. None of that was important at that moment.

"Hendrik, you need to calm down!" Sabrina sat in the middle of the boys bed, the lonely, small bed. Hendrik couldn't do what he was told at that moment, the stress of having his baby sister taken away had him pacing in his room.

"Sabrina." He growled out and watched as she moved back. "Don't tell me to calm down. There is a chance of my sister leaving me and you're telling me to fucking calm down! No way am I doing that now!" He roared and saw her whimper in slight fear. She wasn't scared of him but she was scared of what he might do.

"Hendrik. You can't think like that now. We've got to prepare for your mother's funeral and we'll discuss all of this after. We have pressing matters to deal with." Hendrik watched as she stood up and tentatively walked over to him, her hands shaking by her sides.

"Please listen to me. You don't need to worry about that, we will solve this and you will still get to live with her. They can't take her away, you are a legal adult." Sabrina watched as his whole body trembled, his bottom lip jutting  out and his eyes becoming dull. At that moment, he felt like his whole world was crumbling down and he only had Sabrina to keep him up.

He had asked her why she didn't tell him about the rape and she hadn't finished telling him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" They were laying in her soft bed, looking at the blank ceiling.

"Tell you what?" She took in a deep breath and exhaled, tickling his skin. It felt like something was creeping on it, raising goosebumps.

"That you were raped. Sexually assaulted." He felt her stop what she had been doing (making circles on his chest with her finger) and watched as she took in a rush of air in.

"Wh-what are you talking about?"

"I've known you for more than a year now and I know when you lie to me. Why hadn't you told me?" They were both now sitting up, leaning against the grey headboard.

"Who told you this?" She stared down at her fingers, fiddling with her bracelet.

"Does it matter?"

"Yes, Hendrik, it does." Her face became red, hands turning white. He held the hand closest to him and she clenched harder, making him wince but not audibly.

"Amanda." He confessed and she felt like screaming. With no real reason as to why, she started crying.

"Shh. I'm here now."

"They cornered me and I had no way out. I tried screaming but-" She hiccuped and he stopped her.

"Hendrik, I'm here for you. You were there for me too and I'm here now. You're not alone on this." He nodded and grabbed her hips, digging his finger tips into her hips.

"Just don't go." She gave him a reassured nod and he buried his head into her blond hair, smelling the strawberry scent that wafted off from her.

"We're into this again."

"What?! Are you crazy?!" Akiyah struggled against the tight ropes, wanting to slap him for his stupidity.

"I'm not at all. I am crazy for you though." He smiled–a possible genuine smile –and went behind her. She squirmed for a minute and when she heard the knife, she thought of two things: his going to kill her or his going to help her. She hoped it was the latter.

"Don't move, this might hurt." She felt the ropes snap off. She  brought her hands in front of her and saw red marks.

"Sorry about that. Follow me and I'll explain in depth." She knew she didn't have a chance of escaping, so she followed him. The warehouse was a typical one. Dingy and rundown but she noticed that the upper rooms were clean and looked like they were recently renovated.

"Nice place you've got here." She nods as she looks around the tiny office, noticing cliche novels sitting in the dark oak bookshelf.

"Thanks, I try my best." She nods and sits down on the plush chair, relieved to feel something soft under her. He passed her a glass of wine and she only shook her head, not really wanting anything.

"Water then?" She nods and he pours a glass for her. They sat watching each other and Akiyah finally stepped up and spoke.

"Why do you want to marry me?"

"You may find it creepy but I'm your stalker."

Akiyah was not expecting that.
