Moon Chin Hae did not want to speak of his cousin's story to others without permission. But he was conflicted as the one who was asking was his cousin's doctor. He decided to brief the incidents rather than invading privacy. "Let me sum up the long story short. My family have lots of narrow-minded idiotic self-conceited assholes, and they kicked the poor boy right after he finished school because he was gay."
The minute everything sinks into Doctor Ro's mind, he became sorrowful.
The topic of gay and homophobic family members were always doctor Ro's sensitive topic. He fell silent. Baby-doll moved to sit next to him and held his hand in assurance.
Chin Hae was surprised at the vulnerable version of doctor Ro. He was an old rogue prankster always up to something crazy or utter non-sense to get on people's nerve.
A blanket of silence covered them for a while.
Doctor Ro turned towards baby-doll even though Chin Hae was the guardian of Young Jae. "I was observing that kid, Young Jae. Something is not right. He eats and sleeps only when someone is around. If not, he just sits there with a lack of will to do anything. Leaving him alone is not a wise choice. He needs help. Like… like… He was like how I was back then..."
"I understand. I will see what I can do." She hugged her uncle, knowing where his thoughts were spiralling into.
Chin Hae was lost as he tried to guess the cause. He looked down at the rug as he pushed the guess away as if it was an absurd assumption.
Witnessing the change and resistance from Young Jae, Min Jun slowly moved away from him. He reluctantly moved his hands away from the bony cheeks. He liked to hold Young Jae in his arms, but it was not time yet. 'Patience!' he told himself.
It was genuinely terrifying for Min Jun as he started to like every small little thing of a guy who he met for just more than a day.
A sad smile adorned Min Jun's face as he entirely moved away from Young Jae.
After waiting for a minute, his traitorous hand moved automatically again towards Young Jae. But this time it was towards greedily fiddling with the lush black hair. As he ran his fingers through the soft hair, Young Jae sighed in contentment and got visibly relaxed.
"Don't worry. I won't kiss you this early. There are quite a lot of steps before that. This time I am hell bind on following every single-step properly."
Young Jae lost the warmth on his face but felt a comfortable, soothing sensation as the younger man ran the finger through his hair. Lost in the thoughts and soothing feeling, he tilted his head to the side and let out an unintelligent "Huh" as a response.
Min Jun was determined to heal all the hurt and reside on an exclusive spot in the heart of the fragile man in front of him. "Trust me, darling. When what was supposed to happen now happens in the future, it would be you who eagerly makes the first move. I will woo you till you come to that point."
Young Ja had difficulty in following the meaning of whatever Min Jun was asking. Wooing? What? In a confused daze, he answered with a muted response "Huh?"
In Min Jun's eyes, the confused little tokki was cute. Simultaneously, alluring as Yeou, lost but trying to figure out everything in front of him. When Min Jun understood that Young Jae was a broken man who was lost, cute, smart, gorgeous, attractive but desperately looking for hope, as if he was at the edge and still fighting for something one last time, he admired him for being strong even without knowing anything.
Above all, the urge to tease the man in front of him felt great."I cannot make my mind when it comes to you. So tell me yourself. Are you a rabbit or a fox?"
"Huh????"
Min Jun was amused at the constant response of Young Jae as if his brain had a stopped working. "Think it through. We will figure it out later… In our future. As of now, you will be my tokki..."
Finally, a few words sank into Young Jae's brain, and it infuriated him. "I am not yours. I am not a stupid rabbit or a fox. What are you even blabbering like an idiot?"
"Truly amazing! How it is coming from a guy who let out a smartest 'huh' for my last couple of questions." Min Jun teased Young Jae to lighten the mood.
"You… you..." Young Jae struggled to find words but failed.
Min Jun bit his lips as attempted not to laugh out loud and annoy the man who started to have a firm place in his heart. "Yeah… what about me?"
The thought of being called stupid names irritated Young Jae. He decided to get back at the little boy who wanted to tease him. Even though he always bit down the remarks and did not react to others remarks for the last four years to save himself from trouble, he was determined to put the other naughty boy on the place that moment. He was a hot-headed third master of Moon family after all, and he never hesitated to throw words at others. "You are a stupid panda. All you know is to sleep, eat and roll around. Go away!"
Even though Young Jae attempted to bite back, it turned out to be a kitten nibble, harmless and adorable. He was embarrassed as he got rusty at getting back at people.
'I had a sharp tongue better than you in the middle school itself. Why are you so adorable? All I want to do is to put you in my pocket, taint you personally. At the same time cherish every part of you.' Min Jun thought to himself as his eyes looked at him like the rarest gem.
"Fine. I will be your panda. But beware. I'm not particularly eager to roll around alone. So I might drag you to be my company."
"Huh?" hearing Young Jae's response, Min Jun's right hand, which was running over Young Jae's hair moved to the back of the head to hold the older man in a place. Thumb slightly brushed over the ear lobe.
Min Jun let out a hearty laugh before he moved towards Young Jae slowly.
