The tight hug and ruffled hair made Young Jae smile contently. He prayed to god after a long time hoping the good thing that happened to him to last for a long time and these good people to be around him for a long time. Moon Chin Hae, who was instructing his secretary over the call, entered the room to witness Young Jae smiling in baby-doll's arm. He was happy that Young Jae was able to accept her. She and the people around her made him realise the importance of self and life. Kang Chin Mae did a great job in asking her to be there for Young Jae. Even if she would be there for a short while, he knew she would be a good influence on his cousin.
"This is unfair… Why am I not getting a hug from you both???" Chin Hae said with the grievance. Baby-doll moved away from Young Jae after ruffling his hair for one last time turned towards Chin Hae. "No need to ruffle my perfect hair. Let us not hug at all." His shrieked and decided to move out of her reach. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't outrun a national level athlete and ended up tackled to Young Jae's bed. He was trying to get away from baby-doll, but the traitor Young Jae joined in to ruffle the hair with his unharmed hair with a voice guiding him.
All of sudden Chin Hae shrieked and laughed as baby-doll started to tickle him in the neck. For some odd reason, he was always ticklish on the sides of his neck. Only a handful of people knew it, and all of them were evil monsters who took advantage of this precious information.
Soon he felt breathless and asked to be spared. Young Jae and baby-doll stopped their torture, and all the three collapsed on the bed with a smile on their face… like three siblings teasing each other and got tired from too much teasing. For the first time, Young Jae experiences fun and warmth with someone he considered siblings. The wish to have them as his siblings grew stronger only, but he knew the cruel nature of reality.
While they were catching breath and lost in their own thought, baby doll's voice interrupted them. "How is your boyfriend? Is he not visiting you?"
Young Jae froze and lost his soul almost when he thought he was asked the question. He couldn't help but feel ashamed. He dated a scumbag like Ki Hoon Joo and what if Chin Hae told her about his so-called ex-boyfriend. What if both of them thought he was still together with that scumbag? He thought that was the reason she asked about it. In a spur of courage induced by disgust, he was about to say he won't have any traitorous asshole as a boyfriend. But Chin Hae beat him before he utters a word.
"Fine but way too busy…" the obvious sulking in his voice which was not hard to notice. "He is back in South Korea after two years, but whenever I call him, he is like I am busy with work. He is in Cheonjiyeon falls and shooting there today. I don't know when he will be free even for a meal with me. It wasn't easy to talk with him when he was in America. Now it is even more difficult even though he is here in South Korea. He doesn't even have time to talk with me through call, but every hour he drops a message. That makes me happy though…" Chin Hae said giddily.
It took a while for Young Jae to understand what was happening. His cousin was gay like him? He never knew that. His cousin was disowned by the family with a false accusation of molesting his step-sister. He remembered what his cousin said when everyone-pointed finger at him. He only gave statement 'she is not MY type for me to even spare a glance…'
Young Jae thought he was saying his step-sister is not his type. Who knew what he said was 'the gender 'she' was not MY type.' He knew the accusation was wrong from the beginning. Now only he realised how baseless it was in so many levels… But why did they even frame his cousin? What did they even gain from doing so? Young Jae wanted to ask him, cousin, very badly. Then he stopped himself from asking as he didn't want to hurt his cousin by talking about painful memories.
He decided to talk about something pleasant for his cousin. Maybe he should ask about his cousin's boyfriend. Young Jae thought even if there was no luck in his romantic life; he was determined to find out if his cousin's boyfriend was worthy of him. He wanted his cousin to be happy in his life. He would not let anyone make his cousin sad, including his own damned-so-called Moon family. He will be protective of his newly found siblings like how they were with him.
