"Lady or a man, that bed is just unbearable to any!" my little punny complained as she was still feeling pain. I just smiled, while glancing at the place once more.
I used to live in very comfy and clean rooms in my palace. This was the first time for me to be in such a dirty and harsh place to live; and I wasn't in any way feeling upset from that.
"Let's take this place and make it ours," I declared, as I wanted this to be my secret place here; after all I was going to be crowned next year, married to my lovely bride that I wanted to just grab her here and lock this place on her forever, let her rot inside or face the doomed fate of the real owner of this shack!
This was my last year to come here, my last chance to be free, and I should better use it in any possible ways.
"Sure, this place seems nice, but this bed isn't," little punny kept focusing on the bed again, which drove the sympathy inside Oly, who patted on her head as she said:
"Don't worry, we won't need to sleep ever a single day here."
"I know," little punny dropped her head in sadness, "but it's a bed, no bed should be this harsh," she raised it once more, to complain again, persisting on the matter.
"I will make sure to bring more blankets next time," Emma said, as she was already feeling nervous from little punny complaints, just like me.
"Really?" and here came the little devil dancing around our silent saint, "and we can bring my little bed here? it's more nice and really suiting the place here," she added.
Emma was surprised when heard her words, and for a moment there she didn't know what to say to her. "No bringing anything big, we don't need to attract attention," I jumped between the two, saving Emma from the childish little punny, "but we can bring blankets and any needed commodities enough to sustain the night," I added, as I took another glance to check the shack again; it was really empty.
"Girls, go and make a list of things we need, this would be our little secret meeting place each night," I stood proudly, like a king leading his main army to conquer the invaders, and shouted in pride as if I was giving them the order to advance.
And strangely enough, they stood beside me in the same pride, like this was the most noble of things they could hear and do from me!
And in the next half hour, they all started checking and determining what was missing here to be noted, for later night to bring.
This little shack would turn to be my biggest life adventure!
"We are done," Oly said, and before I tell them all to retreat, my little punny acted again, adding more of her touch to this shack; "shouldn't we grab a name for it? it looks weird to call it a shack in the forest outside the hole in the wall, right?"
We all exchanged silent glances before we tried to control our laughs, this girl was really something. "Sure, let's call it the secret shack of punny," I said, while leading the way out, looking around me in usual vigilance, before finding nothing wrong anywhere.
Our rides were all standing in their places at the entrance of the shack, and it seemed no one came near this place, or else he or she could easily spot these strange mixes of small horses.
"I can't call it on my name alone," the little punny said in some arrogance, which didn't push any strange feeling into myself; yes she was arrogant as a little girl her age should be!
"Then let's call it the hole," Oly said, trying to make fun of her.
"No, this is a very low name, can't match my taste at all!"
"Then let's call it the harsh bed," I teased her, joining the fun, while dragging my own horse, and starting to check the world outside this thick bunch of trees.
The world was so quiet to make me really stressful, but not as much as the first time I stepped my feet here. "No, this is the last name I would choose for that sweet little shack," my little punny retorted with a pained expression over her face.
"Then call it the secret," Emma said, as we started moving towards the hole in the wall. "if we called it a secret, then others would definitely realize it, and it won't be a secret anymore," little punny tried to reason with us, in a strange adult tone and weirdly acceptable logic. "Let's call it the night ranger," I said, inspired by the true mysterious owner of that shack.
"Nice name, I like it," little punny was finally convinced, and we all just smiled while moving outside the hole, jumping over our little rides one by one, with me leading them in the front.
"Shall we come here each night then?" Oly asked, and the response came swiftly from me, "sure, let's come here after our esteemed Entely falls asleep," I replied, agreeing on this suggestion.
What was the use of having a secret place out here if we didn't come to visit it daily then?
"I'm so excited, I want the new day to finish as we come here and play," little punny seemed much more interested and amused more than myself. This little girl was playing the role of me perfectly, much better than myself indeed.
"You three will have to fetch our needed commodities from miss Entely's back, ok?" I said, assigning this mission to them.
"Hahaha, don't worry, we are already well versed in doing that," Oly casually replied, like this was nothing. Under my questioning gazes, she explained, "don't forget we already had a secret place under the precious barn," and she playfully winked her eyes, making me want to go and bite her on her cheeks already; these little devils kept something like this hidden from me all this long, sigh.
"You should show me this secret place," I demanded, with my pride and ego being hurt.
"Sure, we can show it to you on our way back," little punny said with an excited smile, "we really made it so no one would ever notice it, not even miss Entely," she proudly bragged, and my pride and ego got much hurt. 'That barn was supposed to be me and Entely's private secret, you know!' I inwardly cursed these three little devils, turning my own hiding place for my fake identity into their own secretive hiding place without me or her noticing anything at all!
Those little devils!!
