I led them into the barn, where the hidden enchanted room existed. To enter it, they both needed to put their blood over the wall.
For the unconscious rider, this was an easy task for me. I simply went there, patted his back, feeling his strong muscles in the process, and then went back with his blood.
The moment my hands touched the wall, it shone brightly with the familiar golden sun rays. I didn't hurry to enter, as this stubborn loyally stupid horse wouldn't be able to; and I was pretty sure it would cause great ruckus here, thinking I kidnapped his beloved rider.
I took out my sword, went closer to it as I muttered:
"Easy, it's just like you rider, a d…"
"Neigh!"
I didn't even have to finish my sentence when this stupid arrogant horse neighed at me, rose its two frontal legs high in may face!
"Curse you, I won't let you go without cutting your flesh idiot!" I gritted my teeth as I ran to the side, trying to sneak at it.
The horse rotated around itself, and every single time I went to a direction it moved with me, blocking my path to him. "A catching game, if little punny was here she would be much delighted in playing with you."
I changed my run path suddenly while shouting:
"Look, your rider will fall!"
The horse took the bait, stopped moving as it hurriedly glanced back at his rider to find my white lie! However it was too late for it to turn around and block my path, as I already reached his side!
"Splash!"
I waved my sword, cutting the body of this stupid horse, and strangely this felt really good! I waved my hand, covered it with its blood before hurrying away from its angry head and legs!
Then I ran, and it ran after me! In this narrow space, running after by a horse wasn't a good thing, however I didn't run around; as I headed directly to the wall, pressed my hand with blood over it for a second there, before disappearing inside.
I jumped away from the path of this angry horse, and the next moment it just jumped after me, heading directly forward before being shocked by the change of scenery, stopping there like an idiot.
"No need to thank me, ignorant bastard."
"Neigh!"
It neighed like it was complaining it was my fault for not explaining things to him. I had never seen such a shameless horse before! "Do you always mean this?" I shook my head while heading to the front. "There, make him lie over there while I will try to attend his wounds."
I pointed towards a corner where there were a couple of beds brought here by the girls during the last couple of nights. The horse just glanced at me before going there, bending its legs and putting the wounded unconscious rider over the bed.
It was the first time for me to witness his face; he was handsome. His skin wasn't pure white like mine, having a touch of tan over it, evidence for his exposure to the sun for a long time.
And he had a small scar at the tip of his chin, on the shape of an arrow, which made him look even better.
"You won't complain about being here bathed in the sun rays twenty four seven, are you?"
I laughed on my silly joke while going to check his armor. It wasn't the type of armor you can see around here, and that proved he wasn't one of my own. "I have to remove and hide that armor," I muttered to myself while thinking of the three little devils.
A lie should only be perfect if all the loose ends were covered well! That was what I learnt from my dear father. So, this armor should be hidden, alongside this long pointed sword and this stupid horse armor!
I glanced at the horse briefly, hesitating how I could do that with such an arrogant horse.
"Neigh!"
It asked for me to explain again, it seemed. "I wanted to remove and hide your armor." I paused, before adding, "this is a foreign kingdom and if anyone sniffed this fact, your precious rider will be in danger."
I tried to reason with a horse! What was I thinking?
"Neigh!"
The horse sat on the ground, lowered its head and did nothing. I took this as a sign of its approval, however it stretched its head and licked the face of its rider before neighing again, like telling me to attend to his rider first!
I sighed! This strange rare loyalty was starting to annoy me! I then took off the armor, put it on the side of the bed while raising the rest of that rider's usual clothes seen everywhere to check if there were any wounds here.
His chest was broad and seemed quite strong, with muscles carving the shape of his chest, forming two small boxes in front of my eyes, with a groove between them. "Oh, looks nice!"
"Neigh!"
The horse seemed not to accept me flattering his rider, and I just replied with a chuckle.
"Calm down buddie, I won't eat him alive," I joked in a silly way again, while feeling more astonished the more I uncovered his clothes off his muscular body. "Gosh, this is my first time seeing a bare man this close!"
