When Violet Addison went back to her original world Felix was waiting for her to arrive.
"I knew you'd come back, Timothy told you to come back and inform me on what's going on, am I right? but if not then it doesn't matter, since you're back mind filling me in anyway?"
Violet then proceeds to explain all the details of what is going on to Felix.
"oh right I suppose now would be a good time to find out, that's right I'm Felix the god of fire." boasted Felix, "hey I have a question for you, why did you take me in and take care of me?" Violet asked curiously, "well I felt guilty for what happened here a long time ago, you see I was the one responsible for this mess, all those years ago it was because of me that your grandparents died and it was because of me that your parents left the city after you were born since they couldn't take care of you with the little money they had, so when I found you on the bed where you were born I decided to take you in."
"was I the last person still here in the city at the time?" Violet asked again, "well yeah and I had just came down to check on the wreckage when I happened to find you crying."
"I see." Violet said sadly
"you can blame me all you want, after all I was the one behind the meteorites."
"it's fine" said Violet reassuringly, "are you sure?" questioned Felix, "well of course after so long why should I still linger on the past right?"
"well you sure move on fast Violet." Felix said with a sigh, "well could you take me back there with you?"
"of course you can come, can't you just go there yourself since you're a god and all?"
"well I would like to use the shard sometimes."
"alright then."
and after their chat Felix and Violet went back to the other timeline and as Tim said, he and Mel were still waiting there for them, but this time there were also soldiers there holding back Tim from the back on the wall and they tied him up as soon as they had returned.
"what are you doing!" Mel shouted at the guards, "were trying to help you mam!" the guards shouted back, "help me with what exactly?"
"didn't this man kidnap you?" the guards said with confusion in their voice, "no he didn't let him go now." Mel ordered the guards to back down and go back to their own duties, "geez, every time a soldier see's me with a man they immediately think I've been kidnapped."
"welcome back Violet, and I see Felix came with you this time, how strange normally you wouldn't use the shards, why the change of heart?" Tim's voice sounded like he was taunting Felix, "well this time was special and I do have a reason for it, it's very important so listen close." Felix sounded very serious at the moment which Violet had never seen before.
"just what could make you look so serious Felix my old pal?"
"well for starters one of my temples were completely destroyed." upon hearing this Timothy looked shocked, "who could have done something like this?" Timothy asked, "well I believe it was Mede."
"Mede? but why would she do that? do you have any proof?" Tim asked Felix as if he didn't believe him at all, "I sensed a presence like that of Mede's back at my temple when I was alerted by one of my guards that survived the incident, perhaps we could go ask him for more answers."
"by the way, Mel, did those soldiers just refer to use as, mam?" questioned Violet, "care to explain to us what that was?"
"well as you can tell I have a high ranking in he army." Mel said
"what ranking?" Felix and Tim said simultaneously, "wait you don't know my ranking? yet you said that you've been residing here for quite a while now, Tim?"
"well I'm not really into rankings and what not, so I am completely unaware of the ranking of anyone in this world, except for myself since I rank as a god."
"well I suppose I should tell you all then since nobody here knows, I am the highest ranking arch mage in the whole continent, I am Melertz." Mel spoke proudly, "wow despite being so young you are actually quite skilled aren't you Melertz?" Tim said
"well it is to be expected since I was the best scoring student in the soldier academy for mages, and the teacher was also a god, if I remember correctly his name was Goflet, the god of magic."
"if Goflet was your teacher then couldn't he have just given you magical powers?" Violet asked
"well Goflet always said that we must learn by ourselves without relying on other people for help, so of course after hearing that I worked and studied really hard until I was a grand master of magic and before I knew it I was the strongest on the continent, but if someone beats me in a duel of mages then they would take my title and I would be demoted to a reserve ace."
"that would be bad, if you become a reserve then you can leave the continent right?" Felix asked, "what are you planning Felix?" Timothy asked curiously, "well I was wondering if you would care to join me for a duel?"
"are you serious! me against a god, how in the world am I supposed to win?" Melertz shouted, "well I was intending on you not winning so that you would become a reserve and that you could go with Violet to find the next shard." Felix explained, "obviously I can't accept that." Melertz replied
"but why? don't you want to help Violet?"
"sure I do want to help her but it's just that it still isn't very worth sacrificing my rank and also I enjoy taking care of the people here, since I am the strongest mage that's not a god in this continent.
"that does make sense, but are you really sure you won't come?" Felix asked
"well, only if it's in this continent, it it's not then I have no intention of going." Mel proclaimed
"hey Tim do you know where it is yet?" Felix asked, "yeah where is it Tim?" Violet followed up after Felix, "I haven't been able to pinpoint the location directly yet, but I know it's somewhere near this city."
"perhaps it's in a local town or maybe even in this city itself?" Violet thought to herself, "well you heard him, Ms mage, I guess you're coming with us now." Felix said as if he was mocking her, "wow Felix and Timothy really are quite alike, no wonder they're friends." Violet thought to herself again.
"so where should we look first?" Violet asked Tim while staring him directly in the eye, "come on now Violet, no need to be so serious, oh and also Felix.", "what?" Felix replied, "I suppose we should help you with your matter since you're helping ours."
"woah I never said that this was MY problem as well, I just got dragged into this." Violet shouted at Tim, "but you don't actually mind being dragged into this, do you?" Tim laughed at Violet shortly afterwards, "ok fine you got me, I actually kind of like the idea of going through worlds and doing missions, it's as if I'm a soldier working under you." Violet said ending with a sigh, "I guess you ARE technically a soldier working under, just one on a special mission I suppose."
"excuse me, Tim, aren't you forgetting something important regarding the shard?" Felix told Tim, "and what would that be Felix?" Tim replied to Felix, "geez, if your going to lead this squad, could you at least come up with what course of action we'll be taking." Felix scolded Tim, "oh right, actually before I even sent my colleague to find Violet, I had come up with a plan beforehand."
'oh? that's very unlike you Tim, what's the occasion?" Felix taunted Tim, "well the so called 'special occasion' would be Violet." Tim said while looking towards Violet, "me? what do I have to do with your plan?" Violet said surprised that a god would do that for a normal person, "I believe Felix would know the answer to that question, would you be so kind as to explain to her for me Felix my old pal?"
"fine I'll explain what you have to do all this, along with the reason we chose you to help, lets start the explanation here, you do know that a tragedy happened a long time ago correct?" Felix told Violet as Timothy was explaining the plan to Melertz.
"but you don't know exactly when it happened."
"yes that would be because I wasn't born yet at the time." Violet replied
"no, that answer would be incorrect, Violet you are very far from the truth, but I guess since these are the circumstances I should inform you now on what Time and I know about you."
Felix tells Violet that she was the only daughter of one of the most powerful gods ever known throughout the realms and along with that they were also one of the most popular gods, they had an amazing amount of worlds worshipping them, there were about 16% of all the worlds worshipping them, in total there are 100 zillion worlds, and that god was the god of magic, she was the creator of magic and stayed the god of magic since the first planet was made, but ever since the war a few decades ago, she has been missing and after a thorough search nobody found her even after looking at every single location in every single world, but when Felix went down to the world Violet was first in he sensed a familiar presence from within her and she had a protective barrier over her that no one that worshipped the original god of magic could ever mistake, it was the barrier that can only be created by the original god of magic, after her supposed death, over 60% of the chants and spells that people use suddenly lost all their power and to make up for that power they created a new god of magic, which would be Goflet, but Goflet could only supply so much magic to all the worlds and it was nowhere near enough to even get above 5% of the power she once had, but when Felix found Violet under the rubble surrounded by a bright barrier with a pattern only a god could make he immediately put it together after many weeks of thinking, he thought "how could a child, no, not even a child, a new-born human make a barrier? and nonetheless a godly barrier, just what is this human? or is she even human at all?" and after so many years of raising her, he decided to name her Violet similar to the god that became her, that's right, the original god of magic, her name was Vemillia and to avoid near death she decided to reincarnate herself back into a newly made god but since she was the original god of magic, all her magic power would stay within her, but they couldn't be used unless the user remembered it and after many years Vemillia became Violet and had lost all her memories up to this point in time where every second counted if they were to make it in time, to regain the god of time's lost power, to stop who destroyed the god of fire's temple and to figure once and for all. just who and what Violet truly was.
