Chapter 15 - Side Chapter: Power System Pt.1

· Levels

Levels are probably the most important part of a character's strength.

It's the reason that the MC had said, many times, that he wouldn't even be able to beat an Intermediate-tier being.

Even though he had so many op skills.

· Feat System

Feat System. Now, you might be a little confused as to what the feat system means, right?

Well, don't worry, it's pretty easy to understand.

The Feat System is basically a fancy way, and the most accurate way, to call the leveling system.

You should also note that no players know about it and that even the devs weren't aware of the players knowing about it.

The Feat System, simply, just makes it so that you'll level by doing any actions. I mean ANY actions.

You could study your ass off, and the feat system will make you as strong as the guy that had been lifting his weights with as much effort as you when you're studying.

It was also a system the devs had made in hopes that the players would LITERALLY STOP KILLING THE MONSTERS POPULATION AND DO SOMETHING.

But jokes on them, most of the people that played the game were either too busy exploring or fighting, as they hated doing anything like reading – as they didn't want to make their game a job simulator.

An important note: If you're wondering whether skills are governed by the system or not? I'll answer: "Yes, the skills are also governed by the Feat System." said the author, in a calm voice, furiously – Dumbledore asks calmly moment.

· Tiering System

The Tiering system is just a simple system that divides players into different groups depending on their level.

The Tiers went like this:

1. Elementary

2. Intermediate

3. Advanced

4. Expert

5. Master

6. Awakened

7. Ascendant

8. Transcendent

9. Divine

10. God

11. Heaven

As, just like the MC had said in the first few chapters, each Tiers are 10 levels each.

Now you may be asking, then why is there the Heaven tier, doesn't that mean the max cap is 110 instead of 100?

Well, no. The cap is still 100 – as the final Tier is an exception, as going Over Heaven – see what I did there, JoJo – is impossible.

The difference between a level 100 God and a Level 100 Heaven Tier, besides the massive power gap of over 1000 fold – is how their levels are displayed:

A level 100 God Tier would look like this: 100/100; whilst a level 100 Heaven Tier would look like this: 100.

The reason for that is that to reach the Heaven Tier, the gods have to either evolve or class-up.

But the sad part is that, unlike the way, you class-up/evolve at lower levels. After level 90, to class-up/evolve, you'll need to do an impossible feat.

And the feat to class-up to level 100 is actually impossible. I mean, when you're level 100/100 the only one that will be of any challenge to you is another level 100/100.

To make it simpler, it's like the reason why you can't reach absolute zero, because to reach it, you have to have something that's absolute zero.

Just like that, to reach the final Tier, you'll need a Heaven Tier to fucking exist!!!

Also, after this, I'll be referring to people in certain level ranges not in their fucking levels, because trying to explain the difference between a level 20/20 and a 20/30 is a nightmare.

So, a level 10/10 would be referred to as Peak T1, and a level 10/20 would be known as a Low T2.

More about this at the rank section - which I'll post in Pt.2.

· Magic

Magic is probably going to be the most complex part of this entire system. As it has a lot of things to remember.

Though, the first thing I'll like to get out of the way, is that Magic also follows the same Tiering System as the levels.

Now with that out of the way, let me get to the meat and potatoes of Magic.

The first thing you'll notice about magic is just how rare it is. I don't mean that in the sense that you're not able to use it. I mean, if you have the skill of the right level, you can easily use magic.

What I mean is that; you'll need to get a magic tome or scroll to learn how to use Magic. And no, you can't make your spells – unless you know something about the thing which I'll explain later.

And those things are rare AF, as only gods can make them.

The second thing you'll notice about Magic, after you have somehow gotten your spell, is that its overpowered AF.

I mean, it's not even funny because of just how disgustingly overpowered magic is.

A single T2 spell can easily one-shot any T2 being I mean ANY, even a Low T2 spell can take out a chunk of hp from a Peak T2 if the user had enough magic stat.

And that the only "disadvantage" you'll ever face is that magic is "slow". I mean, the higher the spell's Tier, the higher its disgusting opness, and the higher its cast time - I mean a single Tier increase will make the cast time go up by 10 seconds.

Now you may be wondering why did I put those quotes, well, guess what! You can easily bypass that problem.

I will explore this in pt.2.
