6 days later, Thursday 21 April.
Around mid afternoon, 15:19 to be exact as Karoline, Katlego and Lethabo were watching TV. Caroline's anxious facial expression reflected on Katlego's face as they waited for the suits to arrive, playfully arguing...
"Oh yes Katlego, the burgundy one will suit you better," smiled Lethabo, looking up to envision him in it. "Especially with caramel shoes and tie," added she before excitedly jumping out the couch.
"I totally agree, his burgundy suit plus that dress of yours are totally tailored for one another... and believe me, i'm the wedding planner," bragged Caroline, playfully rolling her eyes.
"No babes, and sis, burgundy is too common, i'd rather take the sky blue suit. Or even a beige one, then dye my hair blond e."
But just as he finished speaking, a knock came from the door and he excitedly put the remote down, jumped out of the couch and rushed to go get it, much to Karoline and Lethabo's amusement, and light laughs.
Upon opening, he felt his heartbeat come to a cease and he dropped his glass of juice as soon as he saw Katherine, Karabo and Zintle. Zintle's hand clasped in his, as big smiles played above their chins.
"Hey Kay Gee," murmured Zintle before the embarrassment brought a sudden heat to her cheeks, which clearly showed.
"Hii Zee"
"Yay! They are finally here," excitedly expressed Caroline before rushing a towards the door.
He could see the shame in her eyes, which were stung with a depth of guilt as her blinks interrupted their awkward eye contact, her sweet rosy scent jumping into his nostrils as she walked past him. The back of their white t-shirts written each other's names, as she hid a rose behind her back, before she dawdled past him and hugged Caroline and Lethabo, whose smiles differed in depths of realism with regards to Zintle.
In that moment, Lethabo's eyes caught a glimpse of Katlego's change in mood, his facial expressions clearly twitching as he turned around and followed in his brother's footsteps, his eyes still glued to Zintle.
"Eish guys! Not feeling well, don't feel like I'll be going to that matric ball after all," interupted Katlego, much to everyone's shock, just before they finally heard the much anticipated knock from the door; possibly the suits delivery.
"Katlego! Katlego! Katlego man!" called out the others, incuding Karabo, as he walked out of their sight shaking his head in distress. Before Lethabo rolled her eyes and threw away her good perspective of Zintle, picked up her feet and followed after him.

Meanwhile at Collette's house, as Donnel hesitated to get out of the shower, his bones craving for more heat as the hot water sprinkled all over his body yet failed to melt and wash away his guilt. The naked pictures of Colette's beneath him, moaning as her nails pressed into his skin, lurking behind his eyelids despite him fervently washing his eyes. His heart clearly not at ease for letting himself come between Karabo and Colette's, just as he'd let Zintle come between the twins.
Upon exiting the bathroom, minutes later, he finally heard and felt the sudden arrival of Colette's parents. When he finally went to greet the happy man, and the woman who clearly shared Collette's smile and her hereditary hazel eyes; the caramel toned, fairly tall man with a low fade gave him a seriously playful look.
"Relax daddy, he's my..."
"Boyfriend!" interrupted Mr and Mrs Hartzenberg simultaneously, their postures indifferent.
"Yes mommy, even though i was gonna say matric ball partner"
"Don't be shy Colette, we once your age you know, but if he dares break your heart I'll break his bones," his knuckles shone like a Knight's blade.
"I promise i won't sir," awkwardly smiled Donnel before Collette's beautiful mother grabbed and pulled his hand, and whispered a few things regarding Colette, just as Colette answered her ringing phone.
As the evening went on, Mr Hartzenberg went to take a bath and Mrs Hartzenberg was busy in the kitchen. Donnel was busy comforting Collette, her face buried in his chest as her tears dropped to his shirt as she failed to cope with Karabo's recent break-up call; despite her favourite show which was playing; 7 de laan.

Meanwhile back at Caroline's house, Zintle and Katlego sat in private, away from the others as she explained to him her side of the story...
"Sorry for the inconvenience but I'm glad you agreed let me into your room for a chat."
"It's fine Natasha, It's not that busy anyway." He smiled but let his arms crossed to shield his heart from her as he stood against the wall.
"But I just have to ask," she giggled, "how was I expected to distinguish between you and Karabo? You never told me you had a twin" she grabed and squeezed a nearby cushion girlishly.
"But you could have asked for his name, and you know that... Now thanks to you I hate my brother dearly," He claped his hands twice to add pride to that statement.
"You weren't there Kay Gee and the whole thing just sort if happened, and in a matter of days he had inherited the small crush I had developed for you, before fertilizing it with his words and letting it grow and grow," her playful smile almost convinced him to do something stupid like grabbing her and throwing her out of his room.
"So now how am I supposed to feel. Do you think it's easy to just forget you and move on when I see a reminder of your relationship with my brother every single day?"
"Maybe you should, maybe you shouldn't, I can't make up your mind for you." Zintle's tone had developed an ignorance of its own. "You'll never know unless you try, to rekindle your relationship with Lethabo.
"Leave Lethabo out this, you were supposed to be the one for me, my remedy, my other half, but 11 days later here we are, with boundaries threatening to enclose any kind of relationship between us." He opened his arms and looked straight at her.
"Don't give me that silly look Katlego, I had a crush on you once, but that's all behind us now, as awkward as that is." Zintle shielded her smile but failed to block her ratchet giggles.
"Guess you're right, but then again it wouldn't be right for me to let you date Karabo instead of me. If he's doing so at my expense then why can't you just flip the coin and date me at his expense, surely that can't be hard, him and I are identical twins after all." He walked closer and bent his knees whilst lowering himself to her level once more.
"I knew It. I could tell by the way you looked at her when she walked in two hours ago," reacted Lethabo as loudly pushed the door open, walked in and pushed him away from her, with all her might.
That's when Karabo rushed inside as well and punched Donnel whilst he was still short of balance, a punch that left his jaw shaken.
"And I knew that nothing good would've resulted from coming here, especially when I saw you two walking into this very room but you should have told since its rude to have a crush on someone's girl and not tell them you know."
"People's minds change, but mine won't hence I'm sorry Donnel but your brother and I still got a lot in common, and do not see ourselves with other people just yet" Zintle said as she stood up and left Karabo place her behind him, in fear that Katlego would get up and retaliate.
"You deserve everything that's befallen upon you dear beloved, but either way you're on the wrong here Katlego, you should have told me that you wanted Zintle , and asked me how I felt you know... I don't bite," her tone suddenly picked up some composure
"Oh so now I'm the bad guy right, I'll show you all what a villain looks like soon enough," He then turned to laughed like like a devil as he got up.
"How could you punch me over someone you only met less than two weeks ago, guess you knew she would have said yes, and now we'll never know what would have become of Us by now" he then looked at Zintle teasingly.
"Well, I can see that you still like her, the signs are... But I just can't tell whether its a proper crush, its driven by lust, or just. a little flame you want to use to make Lethabo jealous, no offence Leigh." said Karabo before he took Zintle and walked out whilst Katlego laughed as he sat on the bed.
"Oh so you've forgotten about me already? And what if I ever cheat on you with Karabo, how would you feel?" Her words beautifully slithered into Katlego's ears, before she nudged his head and modelled away.
"Then that would be great, I'm tired of this on-and-off relationship of ours anyway." He looked at her with raised eye brows.
"Only problem is...," she licked and pursed her lips, "You think you can toy with and control Katlego, but I promise you that doublecrossing me again won't end well for you."
"Babes listen to me, I know that you come from a rich family and can get anything you want, including a hitman to kill me, but you don't scare me Lethabo, I know you more than you know yourself!"
"Your problem is you don't trust me Katlego, you're gullible enough to listen to all these hooligans who feed you lies about me. The very same hooligans who caught kissing that other girl."
"Whatever Lethabo, just close your door on your way out. You're crazy if you believe that I cheated on you."
"Don't get it twisted... For me to confront you and dump you it means that I have proof and my sources are notably trustworthy, and I don't even have to ask them twice for them to tell me the truth."
Natasha would just look at me with with big and teary puppy eyes in order to defend her innocence, but this time she didn't, her notorious gaze smacked the smirk off his face.
She was about to say something else until her explanation was interrupted by an unexpected call from a nearby phone. The name Sphe written across it, the same infamous Sphe who Zintle had once asked him if he knew, before later telling him the bitter, ugly truth about what he'd done to her heart. Not once but but twice.
That's when Zintle walked in and demanded, before grabbing the phone call from Katlego. Before he said the name Sphe and watched her freeze for a second before eventually walking out. An observant Lethabo watching intently.
