ALVAH'S POV
It was when Nate asked me to stay away from him that I came to the realization that I had no life at all. I was confident this wouldn't last, he would come to his senses and realized he needed me. He'd realize my presence was basically charity and that there was nothing in it for me.I hadn't caught up to the generation. Today was my first day in school without the guarantee that he will help me out once in a while. You want to latch onto the school nerd if you're new in a school. The teachers adore him, he knows the school like the back of his hand and most importantly you don't look like a damn fool for the most part.
