Chapter 19 - Another Episode

Chapter 19 :

"Are you sure this is going to work?"

Victoria heard a voice ask, "Of course it's going to work, she made me a promise, dammit!" exclaimed another voice.

Not a second later, Victoria scrunched up her face at the feeling of water dripping on it. She slowly opened her eyes and saw an angry-looking Andrew and the worried face of her workers, except for Butler Norts.

Victoria slowly sat up on the bed, and one maid ran to assist her by fixing her pillows. Andrew walked up to her and grabbed her arms and started shaking her.

"What were you thinking?" he asked as he continued to shake her.

Victoria grabbed his hands and looked up at him, giving him a faint smiled and said," I wasn't thinking that's the problem."

Andrew gave her a weird look before signaling the workers out of the room. As the last person exited the room.

Andrew closed the door and stated the obvious, "You had another episode."

"What's it about this time?" He asked.

Victoria ran her hand through her locks and shook her head saying, "I really can't remember what's it about," she paused for a good while trying to remember before continuing, "Um....there was this guy-"

"Really? you fainted because you saw a guy, totally not you," said Andrew while shaking his head.

Victoria glared at him before shaking her head announcing, "If you didn't interrupt me I would have finished saying what I was saying."

"I've seen him before, he took me to the hospital when I found out I was pregnant, he was there when I wanted to abort the twins and even tried to stop me," she then released a sob while continuing, "I mean a stranger was the one who stopped me from aborting my kids... If it wasn't for him my babies would be dead by now."

Andrew watched her with a pained look on his face. His heart ached for his cousin and what she had been through. He felt a little guilty for setting her up on a date without her knowing.

Andrew opened his mouth to say something but Victoria beat him to it, "That day when I received the phone call from the police station about Ciro. I saw him at the diner across from the mall."

"I mean... I thought it was an illusion of him when I was at the mall, but now I'm sure it was him," she explained when she saw the look that her cousin was giving her.

Andrew released a loud sigh and said, "Darling, I really don't want to be mean to you, but that's fudged up."

A small smile crept upon Victoria's face when she noticed that her cousin still had not changed from his obedient ways. Their grandmother had always instilled into them that cursing is bad, and it made Victoria happy that she was not the only one in the family that held on to their grandma's words.

"Well then, I think it's going to get more fudged up than this," declared Victoria, which caused Andrew to pause looking through Victoria's closet to look at her with his right eyebrow raised in a questioning way.

"I had a flash that we kissed in a bar one night, I'm not exactly sure," said Victoria as she raised her hands in a surrendering motion.

"Damn, that would've been epic," said Andrew and Victoria silently agreed with her cousin as she thought of how wonderful it would've been.

Andrew threw something down onto her lap and she looked down to just to see that it was the dress that he had brought from her closet.

"Well my dearest cousin, remember you promised me something, and it's too late for you to back out now" announced Andrew as he walked through the door.

Victoria got up from the bed and went towards her vanity mirror and started doing her makeup.

One hour later Victoria had completed both her makeup and her hair. She did a somewhat natural look with smokey eyeshadow and curled her hair, and did it in a half-up, half-down style.

Victoria replaced her robe with the dress and it was a beautiful sleeveless lace blue dress that had a large split in the middle that showed off her long tone legs. She paired it with a white colored strap-on heel and purse.

Victoria looked into her mirror and noticed that her neck was bare, so she went towards her jewelry cabinet and took off the diamond necklace that she received from her aunt on her birthday, it wasn't fancy looking, it just looked like a normal chain that you would buy anywhere.

Victoria heard a knock on her door and went towards the door, her hands were on the handle getting ready to turn it, but she stopped when she heard Andrew's loud voice.

"Cousin dearest, I believe you've gotten ready and all," he said in a sweet tone before changing it completely.

"Because you're extremely late, how could you do this to me woman!" he whined loudly and Victoria could have sworn she heard him stomped his foot on the other side of the door.

Victoria released a low laugh and placed her hand back on the handle opening it and looked Andrew in his face giving him a Cheshire grin before announcing, "All done, how do I look?"

She spun around for Andrew to see. Andrew checked her out while releasing a wolf whistle.

"Cousin dearest, there's one thing I want you to promise me" he said in a playful tone.

Victoria picked up on this and crossed her arms while tilting her head before asking, "Oh, and what is that?"

"Please don't come back here with baby number three," was all he said.

This caused Victoria to pout before shrugging, "What can I do, Emma has already asked for a little sister... Might as well have some fun and fulfill my baby's request."

Andrew gave her an impressed smirk before letting out a fake sob and wiping off his also fake tears before announcing like a proud mother.

"I can't believe that my baby girl is now a grown-up, I remembered it was just like yesterday when you were running around the house butt nak-"

He stopped when he saw Victoria glaring at him and quickly said while pushing her through the door.

" What are you still doing here, you got a date waiting for you."

Victoria shook her head while walking down the hall and said, "Don't stay up darling."

Andrew chuckled slightly before shouting, "For you never!"
