Chapter 16 :
Ciro and Emma ran around the backyard meanwhile Victoria was taking a sunbath, she had told Norts, her butler to watch the kids and make sure that they don't go into their rooms until she gave the go-ahead.
She was clad in a very thin cotton dress and her head was resting on the arms, she had her AirPods in her ears and was bobbing her head to the song 'If you love me' by Nessa Barrett.
There was a sound of commotion in the kitchen followed by a loud cry "Mom", the cry continued but got louder each time.
Victoria finally heard the cries of her little ones, quickly stand up at the side of the pool and turned toward the main house.
'Gosh, I knew that this estate was too large,' she thought as she looked at the distance; she ran but found herself in the pool gasping for air in her shocked state.
Victoria scowled at the cause of this. It was her cousin Andrew that was not supposed to be here until next week.
"Andrew," she said in a neutral tone with a look of disbelief plastered on her face.
Andrew flashed her a smirk while running his hands through his hair and answered, "The one and only ". "I know that you're in disbelief that this god is in front of you, but I'm begging to get a bit tired," he continued while yawning and rubbing his eyes.
Victoria opened and closed her mouth, then looked at him with a pout. She wanted to give him a lecture, but she saw the sleepiness in his eyes and the tiredness on his face.
Victoria glared at him and nodded her head, pointing a finger in his direction she warned, "You better watch your back because I'm getting you back and it's going to be terrible on your side."
Andrew barked out a loud laugh and commented, "Darling, the time that happens, The Devil would've had to punish me to give you any opportunities to hurt me."
As he said this, he ruffled Victoria's hair before walking pass her, whistling that awful tune of his.
Victoria stared at his back until he was out of her line of vision. She was trying to remember where she had heard that tune before.
'The tune sounded the same to the one we heard at the bar that night,' said her subconscious. For a moment she believed her subconscious, but she knew that she'd never stepped a foot into a bar in her entire life.
Victoria shook he she with a soft smile on her face as she gathered her things that were carelessly lying on the floor and shrugged and said, "Andrew is here at least now I know that the kids were just excited".
Victoria slowly made her way to the main house, stopping every second to check on every single one of her plants. She did not want to go inside as yet.
She wanted to stay outside and enjoy the scenery, but she knows she had two kids that need her, especially now.
Picking up her pace, Victoria quickly made her way to the main house and went inside, ignoring the head maid's comment.
The kitchen was a total mess; the water was running from the tap. The floor was covered in a mixture of flour, sugar, and mustard.
The kitchen cupboard door was wide open and everything in it was totally unorganized and Victoria could feel her hands twitching slightly. The counter was covered in some things she has never seen before.
Victoria let out a loud gasp when she saw her brand new, Louis Vuitton, suitcase on the floor. It had her entire fish tank in it.
They were swimming in her suitcase; the water was leaking from the suitcase onto the floor, making it even harder for Victoria to walk on the floor.
She wanted to faint when she saw that all the food supply in the house was on the floor, and there was a lot of food supply, from snacks to sweets, to desserts, etc.
Victoria angrily called out for the twins, Norts, Andrew, and the Head Maid. She took her seat on the stairs outside and waited for them to show up.
Andrew walked out of his room with nothing but a sweatpants. The maid who was sent to fetch him stared at his back with her mouth wide open.
Andrew was unaware of this because he was busy rubbing his eyes to get rid of the sleep that was still lingering there. Andrew was slightly curious why his cousins had sent a maid to wake him up, and she knew he was tired.
Andrew walked down the hall with the maid heeling him behind, yawning Andrew brought his hand up to his mouth, something his grandmother thought him when he was a little boy.
Turning towards the maid behind him, he couldn't stop himself from smirking, for he caught the maid staring at him openly with her mouth open. His smirk got a bit larger when she saw the maid looked down to her feet before blushing.
Andrew shrugged when he saw this and thought, 'At least she had the decency to look away.'
He was hot, and he knew it, and besides, he was used to girls gawking at him.
Even though the maid was the first girl to look away when she was caught by Andrew, she was simply not his type, and she needed to stop looking at him before she loses her job. Andrew remembered what he wanted to ask the maid and called out to get her attention.
"Hey Maid" he called out, "What do you think your boss needs me down there for?" he asked, not giving the maid the chance to respond to what he just said earlier.
The maid continued to stare at the ground while answering, "Sir, I don't think so."
Sighing, Andrew fasten his pace while muttering.
" All of you maids are the same... Utterly useless."
