The news about Shawn being awake circulated SL Holdings like a plague. It's the talk of the town. But the worst thing about it is that people already knew that Shawn has Pause Traumatic Amnesia that caused him to forget about his girlfriend.
Having said that, I get two reactions from people I meet along the way. Some feel sorry for me, encouraging me, and telling me kind words, and some doesn't even care, to the point I can hear them talking behind my back about how Shawn can easily forget me because I am not good enough and because I'm not worthy of his love.
"Don't mind them. Just get your food. You can't be stressed about none sense." Margaret turned me and push me towards the food stall as we pass through a group of employees talking about Shawn and me again.
"They talk as if I wasn't there. How can they be so naïve?!" I complained.
"They actually want you to hear it."
"Why? What did I do to them?"
