Aella and Nancy rushed to their class as they might be late. Though Aella can reach the class in a lightning speed but Ares and her father warned her not to use her powers in the university or the premises. Their professor is waiting outside the class. When he saw Nancy and the girl beside her he recognized that she is the new student joined in their university. He walked towards them while Nancy greeted him " Good morning, Mr.Hill. This is my sister Angela Clayton, the one that will be joining starting this semester". "Good morning" he greeted Nancy and Angela. He turned towards Angela and introduced himself " I am your professor for this class Antony Hill. You can call me Mr.Hill" he said with a polite smile. " Yes, Mr.Hill" said Angela. "Ms.Angela Clayton introduce yourself to the students when you enter the class" said Mr.Hill. Angela nodded at him and followed Nancy and Mr.Hill.
" Students there will be a new student joining from this semester, Welcome her" said Mr.Hill in a loud voice so that all students can hear him. " Hello, I'm Angela Clayton. Please take care of me" Angela introduced herself in a clear audible sweet voice. Whole class were amazed at Angela's beauty and her voice. She is just like an angel descended from heaven. But little did they know that there is a monster within her angelic features. Mr.Hill pointed his finger to an empty seat at the last row for her to settle down. She slowly walked towards her seat. The gazes of whole class followed her until she settled down. Mr. Hill interrupted them by starting a lesson.
Angela was thinking of talking to ares and she immediately did that " Ares!Ares! are you listening?" she asked him in her mind.
" What is it Aella?" asked Ares in a worried tone. As he told her to inform him through telepathy if anything serious happens. And now Aella is speaking to him through telepathy.
" I joined my class. I am in class right now. It's exciting!" she screamed with joy in her mind.
"Huh? You used telepathy to tell me this? Do you know how worried I am? Stupid! I am going bye. Don't talk to me through this unless it's important" Ares said in a angry tone and he left. Aella didn't mind as she is so excited now that she didn't take Ares words to heart. She finally concentrates on what professor is teaching. The class finished after some time. Nancy took Aella outside of the class to her friends to introduce her.
" Angela this is Paul and Stella. My friends. Hey guys this is Angela my sister and my best friend" she introduces both of them to each other. "Hello, Paul and Stella. Nice to meet you, I am Angela" Angela introduced herself with a polite smile. " Hey, Angela you are so good looking. our whole class is like ' Is she an angel?'. You know what, Paul left his mouth hang opening for quite a while" Stella teased Paul with a broad smile. While Paul is trying to stop her by covering her mouth with his hand. Paul just gave a shy smile to Angela and she returned it with a friendly smile. Everyone are laughing. Aella couldn't contain her excitement. She didn't talk with anyone except her family this happily. Her face is filled with happiness. She wished she could get more moments like this.
Angela was called to the staff office as she had some forms left to fill. She filled and a teacher gave her an other form." Ms.Clayton you have to select at least one sport for a semester. It is mandatory" he informed her. She selected swimming and volleyball. Swimming is an advantage to her as vampires can hold their breath for a long time. And volleyball is an energy consuming sport. She herself is a monster, so she thought it would be fine. She finally submitted those forms and left the office.
Nancy is waiting outside the office room for Aella. She saw Aella coming out of the room and dragged her with her hand to a cafe in the university grounds where Paul and Stella are waiting.
" What sports did you select Angela?" asked Paul with curious eyes as to what this delicate angel chose. Stella is the same. But Nancy already guessed as to what her friend would select.
" I chose swimming and volleyball" she told them with excitement." What?!!" Paul and Stella screamed at once with a shocked expression." swimming and volleyball are sports which requires lots of energy. Angela are you sure?" asked Stella with a worried look on her face.
" Don't worry Stella, Angela is strong enough. She can beat anyone easily with her strength in swimming and volleyball. You will be amazed if you see her" said Nancy loudly with pride in her eyes about her best friend.
" Are you sure she can beat anyone?" came a girl's voice with an arrogant expression on her face. There is aother girl beside her with much more arrogance than the girl that was talking. They walked towards the table where Aella and her friends sat. Nancy looked up to the girl and said " of course Mary, My friend can beat anyone in swimming and volleyball". The girl named Mary, her face had a smile which is more like mocking.
" Then tell her to challenge our leader. We are very curious to see what the result is" said Mary with a smirk. " If your leader wants to test my abilities then let her come and challenge. And who is this leader you are talking about?" asked Aella to marry. " You don't know our leader?" Mary asked Angela. " Should I know her? She didn't come to introduce herself, so why would I know?" at the words of Angela everyone was dumbfounded. Some students gathered around their table to see the show.
Finally the girl beside Mary spoke " You are right Angela, I am Katelyn Lockwood. The leader my friend mentioned is me as I am the class representative" introduced herself to Angela. " Hello Katelyn. You seem to be curious of my sports activities?" replied Angela with a cold stare. Angela caught the scent of katelyn and realized that she isn't a human but a werewolf. So she wanted to cutoff this conversation as early as possible as her family warned not to mingle with werewolves.
" Yes, I am curious. I would like to exchange some pointers with someone as great as you. Hope you won't disappoint us" said Katelyn with an evil grin. " Of course, It would be my pleasure to teach you some lessons" answered Angela by twisting Katelyn's words. Aella knew if she didn't accept the challenge her friend Nancy would lose face. So she accepted, While Katelyn was laughing in her mind thinking how a mere human can win against a werewolf. And she is one of the strongest werewolves among all the females in her pack. There is no way Angela could win against a werewolf. But little did Katelyn know that Angela can kill werewolves even in her human form. She is much more powerful than what Katelyn could ever think.
While everyone are excited at this challenge suddenly a man's voice interrupted them " What's this commotion?" he asked with a cold tone. As soon as Katelyn heard the voice she ran to him and held his hand in her arms. Everyone became silent. Aella thought it might be some sir but she didn't understood why Katelyn would go to him with such shy expression on her face. He moved towards the table where Angela and her friends sat. When Aella saw him she was shocked, he is the same person that she met in the restaurant when she went to meet her cousins. The golden eyed man she thought to herself. She didn't expect him to be in the same university. He made the same look on his face again while staring into her eyes. A look with lots of questions as though there is something wrong with her. Aella got nervous that maybe he guessed she was a hybrid. But she made sure that there is no scent of her except for the perfume. There is no way one could guess she is a hybrid when she is in human form.
She was sure that there must be something else and assured herself. She broke her eye contact with him and turned her face away from him. But he was still observing her each and every action as though he is seeing something very very strange. " Brother Lucian, I have a request" said Katelyn acting coy in front of him. " What is it?" he asked her coldly not shifting his eyes from Aella.
" This is Angela Clayton. We both will be having a swimming and volleyball competition. I would like it if you could watch and announce the results who the winner is" Katelyn said to Lucian pointing her hand towards Aella.
" Clayton?" he asked with a doubt, he shifted his eyes from Aella to Nancy." Senior, she is my adoptive sister. She joined in this semester" said Nancy with nervousness. Angela understood he must be a senior in this university. " I see" he said. " Kate you shouldn't bully the new joining students everyone knows you are strong" said another man with a teasing look.
" Stop teasing Tyler or do you have a death wish?" asked Katelyn. " Okay" said Tyler giving her a grin. " What do you say brother Lucian?"she asked with curious eyes. If he agreed she wanted to show him her strength and impress him." Okay, Inform me the date and time later" he said to her and left the place.
Aella and Nancy returned to the dorms. Nancy was worried about Aella as she is so angry now.
"I am sorry Aella" she said in an apologetic tone." why are you sorry? This has nothing to do with you. How dare that Tyler guy says I am weak? I will teach him a lesson some day definitely" said Aella burning with rage. " He is a senior too. Don't get involved with them. They are all like a team" Nancy said with concern.
" Of course, after all they are werewolves. They do move in groups. I don't think that golden eyed guy, what is his name again?" asked Aella. " what werewolves?!! golden eyed guy? You mean Lucian Winchester?" asked Nancy with disbelief. She was shocked at the fact of them being werewolves. It took her some time to calm down.
" Yes, him. I don't think he and that Mary are werewolves. I can't smell any scent on them" she said thinking deeply." Aella stay away from them. Ares warned you" she said remembering Ares words.
" I got it. Don't worry Nana. It's just a competition. We won't meet after that." she assured Nancy.
